BB Bold 9000 :: None Of Videos Play Anymore .mp4 / .mov / .avi / .3gp?
Mar 12, 2010
so i've been reading the forums and googling and whatnot, and i found out that my blackberry should support: .avi, .mp4, .mov, and .3gp video files. video files are currently .m4v because of itunes, but i renamed a test video to the 4 above (unless i'm supposed to fully convert them?!), and none of the videos worked. i've tried uploading with media manager, as well as simply dragging and dropping onto my memory card. before, i was able to drag and drop my files onto the memory card, and the videos would play perfectly (i never even had to change the extension!)(also related: i've never been able to play Internet videos!) note: i uploaded a video i took from my point-and-shoot camera (.avi), and there was only sound!
all of a sudden i am now unable to view any videos on my se xperia ray.whether it be a video which is stored on my mobile or one that is on Internet etc. i am unable to see-anything but a green screen.there is sound when the video is playing but no picture. how to return the mobile to factory settings?
I have had my phone for over a year with the OEM holster and it would put my phone to sleep, however for the last 2 days when i put the phone in, nothing happens...am i missing a setting or is this probably a hardware issue and i am then SOL
Yesterday, my BB stopped working, so I took out my battery, in order to make it start again, which it didn't. The screen stays black and the red light keeps flashing, always 4 times, then a few seconds pass by and then it flashes once again 4 times and again and again...
My bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work. I have only recently bought it and it has never been dropped or damaged.
I was using my Blackberry Desktop manager last night to move a video from my laptop to my BB Bold 9000.Now, in the move from my "computer" to a folder on my media card, it DELETED all the videos I had in that folder.I know there were there before I made the move as I saw them located on the bottom part of part of the manager. Then, they were gone. The reason I am in suck a worry about getting these back is they are very personal videos for me. (Of my daughters 1st words, steps, etc)I NEED to get these back.
I am new to BlackBerry but thought I was getting a good smart phone. Now I find out I can't play videos i.e. news, etc. without Adobe Flash Player and there is NOT an Adobe Flash Player available for the BB. Is there a solution? Or will I have to get a smart phone wiith a windows operating system??
My Bold 9000 doesn't play music through the headphone jack, Whenever I play a song, it doesn't go through the headphones. Is there an option or something I need to choose, or should i go through the headphones automatically if there plugged in? Software is the newest 822 from AT&T.
I seem to have this problem of not being able to stream videos on my Bold 9650. I always get this message on my screen, "error occurred attempting to play media"
i have nokia x2-01,when i play any video or even song, its shows "not enough memory"although my memory card and phone memory both has enough memory,i have restored my phone as well as its memory card?
having upgraded to 2.1.1.1 my "Photos" page would not show my videos anymore. The thumbnails are there (both for video and photos), also I can press play and the video seems to run (at least the progress bar does.)Pressing pause updates the video frame, however upon resume the frame remains unchanged.
i don't know what happend to my Nokia X6 al the sudden, because somehow i can't see videos anymore, only here the sound ( mpeg4 , but i can see 3gp) and camera on the phone is basically not workin either, just get a black screen when go to camera.
I'm using 9300. I use download music easy and quickly. But lately I can't do that anymore. When I download my fone become very slow, it doesn't even reach 100% even if it's on 3G network mode. Sometimes it stops on 10%. Then says: failed.
I have a blackberry 9300 3G and for some or other reason I cannot watch videos online anymore. I have the phone for about 8 months now and previously I could watch videos on the internet without problems but now it loads like forever and when it eventually starts it buffers the whole time.
I just got a new iPhone, upgrading from a iPod Touch. On my touch, music videos were grouped by artist in folder-like containers. Now, however, they are just in one long list.
i have a data plan and i'm able to browse to just about any website and use it. but watching a video on Internet doesn't work.i can go to Internet, see the video thumbnails, but when i wanna play one i always get this message "wireless network connection has been disconnected. please try again."
note that watching Internet videos works fine when i am on my home wifi router. the problem is when i am out using the 3g.btw my apn settings are correct: telus.bb.com.the odd thing is that it worked a couple weeks ago. so what's the deal?
I used to be able just to tap a little icon on any video I was watching and it would play straight away on my Samsung smart tv. It's now stopped being able to do this but it still does on my husbands identical phone.
i have xperia play factory unlocked R800i .i update my phone via wifi and my phone has bricked and i have fixed but the phone has become locked phone and the phone can't read any sim card and if i insert any sim card the phone said there is not sim card in the phone
Why can't RIM develop a Bold 9xxx with the body of the Bold 9000 with larger memory, Trackpad, better camera? They've done it with the Tour and Curve. Plus they've got all the parts available already, just need a little engineering to fit the trackpad and everything else. C'mon RIM. We know you can do it. I'm sure you'd sell millions of them.
Quick question. I am starting a new Job and they are getting me a superbasic Perl. I need this for work and so I will be forking some dough out of my pocket to get one of the two following phones: Bold 9000 (I'll pay 100$ Canadian, not Us) Curve 8530 (pay 24.99$ Canadian). I am very used to the Iphone and HTC Touch Pro 2 (not trying to start a flaming/argument/anything else , its just what i'm used to). I am very used to browsing with the other phones and I have heard that BB phones are not up to par, so my expectations will be low. Out of the two phones however, does one perform better than the other (Curve 8530 vs Bold 9000)? Out of the two phones, which one do you recommend overall. I have read that the Bold 9000 even though it is older, it still outperforms the 8530...
I dropped my BlackBerry Bold 9000 on the weekend and damaged the LCD screen. The device still works, but two thirds of the LCD is now white and there's what looks like an inkblot on the left side of the screen. I'd like to try to fix it, but don't really want to shell out a lot of $ to do so --- I'm a month away from upgrading.Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps a dead BlackBerry with a working screen that you're willing to part with? A DIY repair -- this is out of warranty anyway -- looks straightforward, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $100 or so for a new OEM part to replace the LCD screen.
