I used to be able just to tap a little icon on any video I was watching and it would play straight away on my Samsung smart tv. It's now stopped being able to do this but it still does on my husbands identical phone.

Within the past month or 2, that has disappeared. Is this something that has changed with a recent youtube app update or samsung firmware update.

Well once you click on the live stream icon in the camera it asks you to sign into youtube, which I do and then the darn youtube window/app comes up on the camera and it prevents you from starting the live stream. How do you close out the youtube window once you sign in for the live stream on the camera app?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've only had my GS5 for a month and so this is my first time trying to upload my videos to YouTube. And it's not working.
I am in the gallery, on the video I want to upload, I tap on the share symbol, I select YouTube and then write a title, description and choose options. I then hit the upload symbol. It then goes to my list of uploads and shows the video I'm trying to upload at the top, but when I tap on it, nothing. When I tap on the 3 dots to the right of the thumbnail, it gives me the option to cancel download. But it's not really doing anything! I let it sit like that for over 5 minutes and nothing changes.
I've also tried doing it the opposite way and tapping on the upload option in YouTube, but that does not even give me an option to upload from my gallery which is super weird. It only allows me to choose from downloads.
So it used to be that when I did that "rub the edge" gesture to bring up the information/notification edge stream, the time would come up first, then I had to scroll to see the stream. The time is gone now, it just goes straight to stream. I liked being able to check the time without lighting up the screen. Why it's gone or how to get it back.

Recently every time I type that in the address bar it starts loading then it goes to the youtube app for seconds then it goes to web [URL] ...

View 13 Replies View Relatedwell out of the blue my storm has quit streaming video altogether. i get the error occurred while attempting to play media message. whether its the mobile Internet site, or any site that will stream videos. they just wont work. i have java enabled, i have it set as blackberry browser. i've rebooted my phone several times to no avail. quadruple checked every setting i know and nothing has changed from when it worked till now. i have a 9550 running seans 451 hybrid. Internet did work when i installed this hybrid also. the newest app that i've installed is pattern lock. but Internet videos worked right after i installed that back a week ago. i would really appreciate it if someone could provide insight as to what's wrong. i'd rather not re install my os unless neccescary.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have been dealing with the problem of not being able to play videos on my HTC One. It is a Verizon version, using Android 4.4.2 and Sense 6, not rooted.
I am not able to play videos in YouTube, Chrome, or even videos I have taken with my own camera. For YouTube videos, it gives me a loading screen, then says, "There was a problem while playing. Touch to retry." When I try to play my own video, it tries to load, then gives me the HTC error message, saying, "Sorry, this video cannot be played." The same happens in Chrome.
The interesting thing is, some days I'll be able to watch a few videos just fine. Then after a couple I try to watch another and it gives me the error message. So I'm not really sure what is happening.
Just bought the m8 and trying to figure out why YouTube videos look "not hd", even when I search hd 1080p videos... Under the YouTube settings it only shows up to 720p. On all of my other phones the YouTube videos look a lot better. Is it the new YouTube app or my phone?
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I updated my z3 to lollipop I found a problem in youtube app it's become not playing videos anymore. I tried to delete the cash but nothing happened even I tried to reinstall it again but not solved.
Finally I thought maybe the Google play service it's old or not compatible or something like that but nothing change even with latest update from Google play service.
For notice I do format to my phone before I install the new update to Android lollipop.

She's a Zumba instructor and all her videos have music to them and in the subject. I know YouTube is strict now on music being posted for copyright purposes. But the same video works on my wife's Windows phone and my daughters iPhone. Not sure if it's my phone. But other videos play from my wife too on my phone with no problems . Just some do not..

This is only a problem in the stock browser. When I hit the play button the video starts to load but never plays and then just shows the replay screen/related videos screen that usually comes up after watching a video.

Same problem. I've turned the phone off. It doesn't. It's been going on for a week our two now. I also did a matter reset. After that YouTube worked for a while but now it's doing it again. Break.com won't pay either.

i'm wondering if this happens to anyone because i can't stream videos from most of the sites. here are a few to list:startv.inInternet.combcci.tvcrictime.cometc.....i use wifi to stream the videos but with little success.even in Internet video doesn't start and clicking on "switch to standard player" even doesn't work.(it infinitely circles in round and round)only mobile version of Internet works well.there are a few sites also where video works good untill i touch seek bar. and after that it goes blank.

I think it's specific to either the 6p or marshmallow because my nexus 4 with 5.1.1 works fine.
My YouTube app is version: 10.43.60 and I'm on mdb08m.
Whenever I try to stream videos with the nokia 5230 it says "cant connect to server" and this is when my signal is up full.
