My Bold 9000 doesn't play music through the headphone jack, Whenever I play a song, it doesn't go through the headphones. Is there an option or something I need to choose, or should i go through the headphones automatically if there plugged in? Software is the newest 822 from AT&T.
View 11 RepliesMy bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work. I have only recently bought it and it has never been dropped or damaged.

While playing music on my BB, every now and then the sound cuts out while the song continues to play. Increasing or decreasing the volume has no effect. I always have to stop/pause the song and then press play again.

View 5 Replies View Relatedso i've been reading the forums and googling and whatnot, and i found out that my blackberry should support: .avi, .mp4, .mov, and .3gp video files. video files are currently .m4v because of itunes, but i renamed a test video to the 4 above (unless i'm supposed to fully convert them?!), and none of the videos worked. i've tried uploading with media manager, as well as simply dragging and dropping onto my memory card. before, i was able to drag and drop my files onto the memory card, and the videos would play perfectly (i never even had to change the extension!)(also related: i've never been able to play Internet videos!) note: i uploaded a video i took from my point-and-shoot camera (.avi), and there was only sound!
View 12 Replies View Relatedi've blackberry bold 9000 phone. last night i was watching videos on Internet using wifi connection. all of sudden it got stuck and i got white screen. it was around 1:03 am. i was too sleepy so didn't bother to restart the phone and just kept it aside. around at 4 am i got up and found that my bb is dead. i immediately removed battery and tried switching it on. but no luck.then i connected it to my pc using usb for charge( as i don't have wall charger).the red light glows and stays constant whenever its connected(even after i removing battery) to usb. but it don't switch on. even i have already charged (i.e.. kept it connected to my usb) for 4 to 5 hrs. but no luck.

I can connect to wifi hotspots but I can't access the internet at all it is always "unable to connect to the internet" What should I do to get this to work? I have no connection on blackberry app World or any of the blackberry apps or my e-mail, I can use MEdia net browser to connect to the internet it works fine, I can us Wi-Fi and everything work fine. Myspace or Facebook or any apps don't work unless i use my home Wi-Fi. I talk to AT&T and they said my internet was working fine.

When i play media, even at top volume I can hardly hear it. I have set my media volume to max. I can hear system sounds and other sounds absolutely fine.
I have tried several different files and several different media players and I have the same problem with all of them.
My iPhone 4s will not play sound unless the headphones are plugged in. I can't hear anything at all without the headphones, not even Siri.
