Xperia PLAY :: Cameras Only Taking Green Pictures And Can't Send Texts

Shortly after I purchased my Xperia Play (Verizon) I did the update and everything was fine (2.3.3). Now when I try to take pictures they only show up with a green tint kind of like having night vision. It's doing this for both the front and rear facing cameras. It shows up in the preview as well.Also, when I try to send out texts it only says "Sending" they never get sent, but I can receive texts any time. I've been contemplating doing a restore to it but I don't want to waste my time if it doesn't fix anything and I definitely don't want to go through installing everything again.
! My wifes edge 6 has a strange problem when taking pictures...every time she takes a picture the first one is just a green screen then takes a fine one.

As you can see, there are 5 green dots in the picture. I understand that when taking direct pictures of a sundown etc., that there might be some lens flare in the picture, but these dots are caused by the lights of a CHRISTMAS TREE! (How many people are going be taking pictures of their Christmas tree in the coming few weeks..?) Also, no matter how I positioned my camera, the dots still continued to show in other pictures as well, forcing me to delete them. Â
What are my options here? Buy Photoshop and edit the dots out and accept that a 899€ phone has a bunch of camera issues, or is it possible that apple could at some point fix these lens flare issues in an update?
all of a sudden i am now unable to view any videos on my se xperia ray.whether it be a video which is stored on my mobile or one that is on Internet etc. i am unable to see-anything but a green screen.there is sound when the video is playing but no picture. how to return the mobile to factory settings?
I've got a strange problem with my Xperia PLAY. My camera seems to have corrupted autofocus functionality "it seems to be locked on infinity and I cannot focus on any object. I know that autofocusing should normally be triggered by long-tapping camera button in the default application, but it never happens". I always get red focusing mark and a blurry photo.
This behavior is observed on both 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 with default application, Camera ZOOM Ex, Camera 360 and lgCamera. I tried every focusing setting (auto, infinity, macro), but no luck. I also tried to clear application data for Camera app, but it didn't give any results either.
I opened service menu > service tests > camera, and after tapping on screen I got a message: 'Autofocus failed, taking picture anyway'.
Here's an example of my photo: As you can see, it is of quite poor quality. It was taken from approximately 25-30 cm above surface, with 'Macro' focus settings and other settings in default state.
I have been having real problems with the picture quality when you take pictures of documents. As I am a student, this is quite a big deal for me. Whenever I take pictures of like notes and stuff (in the document mode), the quality is great, but when it comes to zooming in, the pixels don't clear up at all, they remain blurry, so in the end the document mode is a complete useless tool! I have seen other phones like the Iphone 4 or the blackberry torch have great quality even when zoomed in, the pixels clear up. I thought sony was known for its camera!
Hey i have a Xperia ray. Gingerbread 2.3.4 I am having a problem with my gallery it takes up a lot of time to load up the pictures. Even if i open any one before letting it load fully, the images appear blurred.
My front camera keeps taking pictures with 2 lines in the corner. You can see it when the camera is on, and it shows up in every single picture. I've cleaned the front camera, checked for scratches/cracks but can't see anything.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, without any obvious reasons, my phone started to enter camera-mode, focusing in and out, and taking pictures. Â It does not matter if I use the phone, or it's lying on the table. If I'm using software, or not. Â I slept an hour this afternoon, it had taken roughly 50 pictures during 25 minutes, 10 during one random minute, then 1 picture 5 minutes later, so it doesen't seem to be any system behind it.
I switched from iPhone to XperiaI got the Xperia Z3 D6616 Unlocked.I turned off iMessaging on the iphone and at apple.comI put my micro sim in from my Iphone 5.called AT&T they addd my IMEIWe set up the APN, and every thing works except I dont get the MMS pictures with the texts.They  sent me to the sony Xperia support.I get the error No Cellular Network, hook to WiFi for networkIm on a WiFi network.under Settings >> About Phone >> Status >> Mobal network state. disconected.
i seem to have done something to my settings which menas i cannot send any texts.I have recently transferred over my old number to this phone - could this be anything to do with it - althou I have sent texts since the number switch over?
Alright, my Xperia X8 suddenly won't allow me to send texts, I was able to send earlier today, but not now... I can receive messages, phone calls and I can make phone calls as well, just not send texts.
I can't seem to send texts to only 3 of my contacts since the 2.3 update. Everytime I try one of the numbers, the Messaging Force Closes. I din't understand why it's only 3 of my contacts that do this.
X10a 2.1 I can't receive txts/mms but I can send them. It was working fine yesterday, but then out of nowhere it stopped working, I've been asking friends from different carriers, emails, etc to send me TXTs and MMS but I still can't receive them, I contacted my Network and they did OTA update, I even did it manually deleting the APN searching for the network etc. but same issue, I can send txts/mms but I can NOT receive them.
My xperia neo has lost ability to switch cameras from the back to front facing. When I go in to camera menu the opposition to pick front or back camera is not there. I've done all the resetting that can be done.
Could receive texts but not reply or send. Tried to turn on Data Roaming. Get message warning of potential high costs, but even when accepting this, get message saying you can't turn on Data Roaming when outside your home network. Is this the problem? Do you need to turn on Data Roaming before you leave the UK in order to be able to send texts from abroad?
Apparently I've been sending texts to my dad and some of my friends, and they've been sending texts to me, but I don't get their texts and they don't get mine. For other people, we chat with no problem. These are all people in the same country as me and mostly in the same city (the people I'm having problems texting are in the same city as me). I have Gingerbread (there's no ICS update for my SI number yet).
Ive had my phone for 10 weeks, no probs at all,brilliant little thing until now.Am unable to call anyone, or send texts, but i do have internet access.Have turned phone off, removed sim etc but nothing! The battery is charged and i have a good signal.
This is the 2nd time I have to send my cellphone for repairs after been crashing basically since day 3.Last time I sendt it in, they just wiped the whole phone and did a ROM update, the same day I got the phone back it was crashing again.Paying 5.000 NOK for a phone that is just terrible is sad. Saddest part is that I bought 2, one for me and my gf, her phone crashes sometimes. while mine is just trash.all this makes me wonder if the HTC Sense 3.0 is broken?
My iPhone won't let me send texts to someone who used to have an iPhone but doesn't anymore. I can receive texts from them but can't send them texts. Says its an invalid number.
I haqve just moved to Tenerife and got a movistar sim. I can receive calls and texts but cant send texts. I have tried to resend the service books but it wont allow me saying "your device had a problem connecting to the server". When i try send a text it says "requested facility not implented". What do I do?
Everytime I get a picture, it will say Message Not Downloaded. I can hold down on it and it will say Download Message and Delete Message, but it still never downloads.
A few month ago, my XPLAY can sent SMS to other phone..suddenly after a few weeks ago, i got this problem. (cannot sent SMS but can receive SMS).After consult wif my service provider..they said i have to change the message service center..luckily i found this forum on how to open service center using *#*#4636#*#*..but when i try to refresh, iget refresh error.. then i try to put "+91MESSAGE SERVICE NUMBER",145 but then i got update error.
