Could receive texts but not reply or send. Tried to turn on Data Roaming. Get message warning of potential high costs, but even when accepting this, get message saying you can't turn on Data Roaming when outside your home network. Is this the problem? Do you need to turn on Data Roaming before you leave the UK in order to be able to send texts from abroad?

It was working fine yesterday, but then out of nowhere it stopped working, I've been asking friends from different carriers, emails, etc to send me TXTs and MMS but I still can't receive them, I contacted my Network and they did OTA update, I even did it manually deleting the APN searching for the network etc. but same issue, I can send txts/mms but I can NOT receive them.

Luckily they all know each other.I've searched across the forums but can't find an answer as to how I may have inadvertently set up a 'group'. I've tried deleting all of the numbers and re-entering them but the problem remains.

View 4 Replies View RelatedShortly after I purchased my Xperia Play (Verizon) I did the update and everything was fine (2.3.3). Now when I try to take pictures they only show up with a green tint kind of like having night vision. It's doing this for both the front and rear facing cameras. It shows up in the preview as well.Also, when I try to send out texts it only says "Sending" they never get sent, but I can receive texts any time. I've been contemplating doing a restore to it but I don't want to waste my time if it doesn't fix anything and I definitely don't want to go through installing everything again.

The Torch is configured with BES for corporate and personal email, both mail accounts faced same situation. Is it the carrier or the BES issue?
I was just checking my emails and the screen suddenly went blank. I removed the battery and then turned the cellphone on again. It could turn on again, but some settings were gone (VPN settings and Mobile Networks). I did the "Settings Reset", but it didn't work, nothing happened.

I have a xperia x10 mini which was all working fine until i tried to download an application/game. It didnt download so i cancelled the download then noticed that the phone wouldnt make or receive calls or texts. If i try to make a call, it comes up "call ended" almost immediately.

I've tried upgrading the software through PC companion and that hasn't resolved the issue. (It's not in airplane mode and I've also tried powering on/off/on, cleaning SIM card etc)

They are really small-- like 15KB/day, but it's nonetheless annoying that my Blackberry Bold 9700 is using data even though I turned it off. I use AT&T. Does anyone know why?
