Nov 23, 2014When I unlugged the charger sometimes the led shows green or red still. I have to restart to get rid of it.

Nokia Accessories :: BH-503 Green/red Leds On At Same Time
Jan 28, 2011eraly december I bought an Nokia BH-503 over internet. The device arrived perfectly, but 2 days ago it just "bricked".
I was trying to pair it to my iPhone and then both red and green leds lighted up.. I did try to turn the device off several times, holding every single key for some extra seconds... none worked. I did try to plug it to charger and hold multi-key + volume up, no results at all.. After 2 days these two little fellows still on and shinning... and I cant even turn the device off..

Jun 5, 2014I charged it for 15 mins, unplugged it, set an alarm, and 5-7 minutes later the screen was black and won't turn back on. The case/phone is still hot, and it still won't turn on after 2 hours. It hasn't cooled at all either, and my AC is blaring in this house.Â
When can I expect it to turn back on? That is, if it's even off at all.... Is there a reset button-pattern I can push to expedite the process? Is there anything I can do?
Should I just make an appointment for the Genius Bar?

May 19, 2010I sent a text to my friend. They replied but it came as a seperate thread not as a reply to the one I had just sent. Usually I can scroll up and read all our texts in seperate boxes. I have the bb torch 9800. This is what I see: from the main screen click on test messages. It shows as a green bubble as if it is a draft message and 4 characters that I don't ever remember typing. But when I click on the message all I see is their reply message to me but can't see the 4 characters from the supposedly draft message that shows in the list of text messages. Also there is no box at the bottom to type my reply. If I go back to the list of text messages and click the bb button I can click reply but when I do once again all I see is their message but still no 4 characters of the draft message or text box for me to type in.

Feb 22, 2012I've a N8 but the Nokia Maps just don't want to work properly. When I start the software, it just shows a blank green screen and the GPS light is blinking. But I can't see any maps... It did work a few days ago but now it stopped working out of the blue. I updated the maps but the problem was still there. Then I deleted the cities folder and then I tried the new Beta version of the maps. Problem is still there... The nokia server is also correctly defined.

Aug 2, 2011I have had a Pearl 9105 for about 2 weeks now and really liked it until a few hours ago when I found it dead, switched off and not responding to anything. I had been having some trouble with one particular contact - sometimes I wasn't allowed to check our text message conversation and when selecting 'compose SMS' to this person nothing happened. To try to verify this I took the battery out and re-inserted it. The phone started rebooting itself with the black screen and progress bar and I put it in the holster I have for it. However it continued to boot and as far as I can remember it booted fully and I was able to check the conversation that previously has refused to open. However I went for a walk with my family and a few hours later took my phone out to check it and the screen was black.
I left it charging all night last night and at lunch, when I used it for a while showing a photo slideshow to my sister, it said battery was 80%. When I got home I plugged it in to charge, in 2 different sockets, and also connected it to my computer. Nothing happened. Device manager also refused to open (I am now reinstalling to see if this does anything). I have removed and replaced the battery several times, taken out the sim card, tried what other people suggest (starting to charge without battery) but nothing happens. I don't even get flashing LEDs. It is absolutely dead. I am rather cross about the lack of customer service for RIM in the UK. I phoned their only UK number to be told they are closed and dialed 3 for their technical support, first time they hung up and second I got through to American support (yet to see if I was charged for this).

Sep 12, 2012Unit has been working fine for almost a year. Got in the car this morning and all 4 LEDs were lit. I put it on the charger. The battery LED turned orange for a bit then back to red. Never turned green.

Actually it seems that anything that would cause an LED blink as part of its notification and wake the screen up (e.g. SMS Popup, getting/missing a phone call) doesn't work properly. If I disable SMS popup and use the standard text message notifications I get the LED notification. I also seem to get new voicemail and new email LED notifications (they don't wake the screen up).

Jul 1, 2010Its been a while since I posted on here but I woke up this morning to a phone call and while trying to talk to the person on the other end my blackberry kept thinking I was plugging in and unplugging a wired headset making it impossible to communicate. When I actually plugged in my wired headset it worked fine but from then on any calls without the headset have the same issue.
I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I recently updated a ton of system and user apps however the phone was working fine until this morning.I've done a battery pull, blown compressed air into the audio jack itself, I've restored the phone in desktop manager, and I've even taken the phone apart and made sure the contacts for the audio jack weren't obscured but to no avail.Do you think this could be a hardware issue with the jack or is it more likely to be a software issue? I'm thinking hardware considering it works fine with the wired headset in place

I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?

It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.

Nov 15, 2011I have discovered that some of my text messages are not being sent or received. Every text shows that it sends and shows a time within a few seconds. I would say I am 90% working fine, but important texts are falling through the cracks.Text messages I send with more than 160 characters auto blend into one message natively. Recipients are only receiving part #2.They never have received the first part on dozens of tries. Always the case from home and work. I'm connected to wifi at home and work. Oddly enough, I was able to disconnect from wifi and was able to send both parts of sms messages 4 out of 5 times. When i connected back to wifi, still only the 2nd part of the sms.A few of the regular sms messages that I confirmed didn't go through were more than 100 characters, but less than 160. So far, every small or low character count message has worked.
Didn't receive a couple of texts that I was able to verify were 100+ character texts. eems to be a larger message problem, but every picture I have sent has successfully gone through.Installed Go SMS tonight. Still had the issue when sending multipart texts that only text #2 came through.I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Sprint today. We did a battery pull and he did a phone refresh remotely. I tried a test text while he was on the phone. I sent a 2 parter to my wife and it was received. I thought the problem was fixed, but the very next 2 part text only showed the 2nd part of the message. I have not been able to get a 2 parter to go through since.

Dec 12, 2014About a week ago, my iPhone 5S started acting very strange. Whenever I go into my "Messages" app, it either shows up as a blank white page or shows previous messages but the screen freezes on the page. Sometimes I am able to text but then it starts freezing again. I am unable to call anyone. My battery is drastically draining. My phone just decides to freeze randomly and will turn off by itself. When double clicking the home button to "close" apps, my phone freezes. I have tried to update to the new IOS 8.1.2, but whenever I choose the "agree" option, my phone doesn't do anything.

Aug 8, 2010As I use phone, it is really excellent. However, I am not able to exploit any features since there is no charge even after half day use.
I found that I had enabled search for WIFI and also enabled two of the settings for gps. After removing settings and changing display to lower brightness and not using internet it is better now. I took BSNL service in India for my vacation. They have 3g in very few places. I am not sure if the 3g or their SIM card is the culprit.
I want to buy car charger. I found Nokia dc-6 selling for Rs 950($20). Do I need to use only this? I called and found that Samsung one for Rs 250($6). Is it ok to use generic one or other brands?
What do I need to look for when I buy car charger for n900? I hope it works in USA also. Appreciate any help since I need to buy ASAP. I can exploit all features in my journeys since I am not driving here unlike in USA;-)

Mar 14, 2012I notice a green dot on my photos when the lens is pointed in the direction of the sun. This is definitely not bokeh since the iphone lens is wide enough to create sharp images.
One friend told that it could be lensflare. I am a dlsr user and never in my life have I seen a dot such as the one in my images. Also the dot remains to be consistent with size and color.
I don't use flash and never attach anything that blocks the phone's lens.
