BB Curve :: Green LED Always On-not Flashing?
Mar 4, 2012I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and last night the green LED came on and stayed on. This was when I was charging it. I have pulled the battery, I have made sure the options for coverage is set to off. I have also uninstalled any apps I don't need. I didn't install anything prior to this happening and it's draining my battery quite quickly. Even when I switch phone off with the red button, the green LED stays. When I pull the battery, the green LED comes on as soon as I put it back in.

Sep 9, 2012My blackberry curve 9320 has had a constant green light in the LED space since I woke up this morning. It's not flashing, and the red flashing light for messages does appear with it when i have a notification, but the green light always returns... I've tried taking out the battery, but the green light is the first thing that comes on when the battery is replaced. |I then let the battery run down and then charged it again, but the green light remains... What is it? And how can I fix it?

Jan 6, 2010I just got the 8900 yesterday, and I had skipped the setup when I opened it up yesterday. Today I decide to restart my BB because I was removing a Google mobile app, so once I restarted, I got the BB set-up tutorial thingy popping up again. So I set the language and set it to not to remind me afterwards. However, once after doing so, the green LED starts flashing green. I asked one of my friends, and he says its Coverage, and told me to turn it off. And I did as I was told, yet its still flashin green. The LED itself isnt flashing constantly like it should in Coverage tho, it blinks about 7-8 times, before it stops, for half a minute and starts blinking once again. Its irriating and I would like to turn it off for good I'm on Rogers carries, and im running 4.6.1.250 OS.

After this the greenish yellowish LED light starts blinking to tell me its charging. I absolutely hate that light and can't stand it. Sep 15, 2010For the past 3 or 4 days each morning I wake up my 8530 has lost the data connection. When I open "Manage Connections" I see a green check mark next to Mobile Network- Verizon Wireless and Wifi so I know it's connected. If I un-check the Mobile Network and wait for it to disable then reconnect it will work fine and all my e-mails and texts from the night get pushed through. I have great service at my house so I'm not sure why my phone keeps losing the data connection at some point during the night. I am running the latest OS .886 and this is my second 8530 "certified pre-owned device" as my first 8530 died. I also did a battery pull the first day I noticed this which re-connected the data but it happened again when I woke up the next morning.Has this happened to anyone else?

Sep 30, 2011I have a habit of saving all my sms text messages, and that was exactly what I was doing on my BB since June, 2011, from day one of using the phone.
However it seems that any sms beyond a month old automatically turns blank and becomes a green icon. Am lost since a lot of personal smses have vanished, including Flight tkt details - a day before my flight too..
lately the smses have turned green just 3 weeks out.... am desperate... since I also get a Application Memory full message.. inspite of saving all pics and music files on a 4GB memory card.
I would have to switch to my previous Samsung phone otherwise, even though it lacks a lot of features like my current BB..
I take a daily backup thru BB Protect, but it doesnt makes things better.

Mar 14, 2012I notice a green dot on my photos when the lens is pointed in the direction of the sun. This is definitely not bokeh since the iphone lens is wide enough to create sharp images.
One friend told that it could be lensflare. I am a dlsr user and never in my life have I seen a dot such as the one in my images. Also the dot remains to be consistent with size and color.
I don't use flash and never attach anything that blocks the phone's lens.

1-the incoming SMS box was green instead of regular white. Is this because it was sent to multiple recipients?
2- the "from" name isn't prominently displayed rather it shows the order the sender picked who to send to. Is there a way to fix this?
3- when I replied I replied to EVERYONE the sender sent the message to. How can this be disabled?

BB Torch :: Green LED Indicator Stays On?
Nov 14, 2011put out the green LED indicator on top of my phone.
Things I have done to solve this irritating issue:
- Hard reboot (remove battery and put phone on again).
- Soft reboot (log off and on again.
- Restore factory settings.
- Go to Options>Screen>LED indicator from on to off.
What else can I do to get rid of this irritating light? It just never goes out and now I cannot see any new incoming messages or phone calls (a red LED indicator should appear, but this is not the case anymore).

I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.
