Sep 5, 2012i have nokia n8 the device turned off after empty battery then i installed the charger such as the habit of before then i waited a littel bit of time and then cam the writing nokia .then comes the five pointes that bleaching series lengh of time at now every thing is ok as you think but i say no after that i try turned it on but the five points that bleaching series lengght of time .then stop five points for glow period of time then re-glare five points of a new glow then stop then re-process for four times then switches off the device i try pushe at button (off / on ) 8 secends then felling 3 times vibrate ...but no thing hapen always same proplem nokia my device not want go to home screen !this problem happened to me after belle refresh update ( before the update was normal the battery is disharged and re without any problems ) nokia pleas dont tell me go to nokia care centre beceuse we have no on in algeria

Jul 13, 2015My Nexus 5 was working fine, and hasn't been dropped/damaged, but the screen has suddenly gone green and very faint. It still works but I can't figure out what the issue is. My guess is hardware?
When I say green and faint, I don't mean just a little bit, I mean a green/yellow hue all over the screen, and faint like someone has applied super high contrast in a photo editor.
Phone is stock, not rooted or modified in any way.

Jun 6, 2011My blackberry 9930 has been working fone and all of a sudden last morning it had no BIS and there is no messages in Host Routing Table, ive sent messages which are not being delivered and did a hard reset but nothing is happening. The service provider says they cannot pick up anything.

The Problem:
Please provide step by step instructions from start to finish on how to transfer my organizer data from my Blackberry (BB) device to Outlook on my PC without losing my BB data. I define organizer data as Calendar, Contacts, tasks and memos. I am not referring to email in this problem.
History:
I have been a BB user synchronizing my organizer data between my BB and Outlook on my laptop for a year. Then my hard drive crashed on my laptop and I lost all of my laptop's Outlook organizer data including calendar, contacts, tasks and memos. But luckily, I have my BB organizer data (calendar, contacts, tasks, memos) from my last sync before the hard drive crashed, as well as, some new additional entries on my BB. So the BB data is good, and the laptop's data is gone and Outlook is empty.
Currently:
I now have a new hard drive in my laptop recently loaded with Outlook from a CD. Outlook has no data in it and is empty. I want to transfer my BB device's organizer data to my laptop (Outlook). BB data ---> laptop [Not the other way around]. I have just loaded on my laptop the Blackberry Desktop Manager from the CD. I have not set any settings and have not done any synchronization yet because I fear that I may accidentally wipe out (lose) my data on my BB because the data transfer went the wrong direction. I need your help. What settings do I need to set up before the first synchronization occurs?I am very nervous because I want the BB device data to over write the laptop data on this first sync. If I screw up and do this synchronization the wrong way, I will end up with no data on my BB or my laptop and have lost years of contacts and calendar data, etc.BTW: I use the BB Desktop Manager with a USB cable to do the synchronization between the BB device and Outlook on laptop.I am a new user to the setup process and would really appreciate a detailed step by step approach from start to finish to solve this issue. after the first sync above (when the correct BB device data is on the laptop), do I change the conflict resolutions options to something else or just leave them? I tend to use my BB more (by 98%) over the laptop for calendar, contact, etc. entries. I want the BB device to be the "master" and the laptop be the "slave" BUT most importantly I want any change I make on the laptop to be immediately transferred to my BB device and also the other way around when I sync. Any thoughts? Or is this just confusing the matter.

I used the search option to search for Twitter messages so I could delete them. Deleting the messages took several tries, which surprised me. Device software version 4 had no problems with this process. Anyway, my SMS and MMS Inbox now appears to be empty. I have to perform a search to see my new SMS/MMS messages.
I had already backed up my device and restored my SMS/MMS inbox from that backup file, but it will not show all current traffic, just items I have sent. I have to do a search to see any current stuff. What do I need to do to rebuild my SMS inbox so I can see all of my messages again? Doing a search every time I get a new SMS takes too much time.

Nor did taking the battery out and putting it back in again. I then tried to plug it int the mains and a red light flashed on it for 15 or so seconds and a empty battery sign with a red cross came on screen. I have left it to charge but I still cant turn it on. What can I do?

I have pulled the battery, I have made sure the options for coverage is set to off. I have also uninstalled any apps I don't need. I didn't install anything prior to this happening and it's draining my battery quite quickly. Even when I switch phone off with the red button, the green LED stays. When I pull the battery, the green LED comes on as soon as I put it back in.

It's not flashing, and the red flashing light for messages does appear with it when i have a notification, but the green light always returns... Apr 26, 2011I have a blackberry 8520. I started having a problem with my memory card recently. When I connect my phone to my computer I can transfer music and pictures to my memory card. But once I disconnect it, I can't get anything i.e. the music folder is empty as well as the picture folder&video folder. I've formatted my memory card, and redid the process and still its the same problem. Taken my phone apart still the same problem. And I've checked and in my settings it says my memory card is inserted even shows how much space I have left etc. I can't even store any pics I take or see them on my phone I can't even rename them cause it tells me that operation isn't allowed on a read only file. I've checked my settings and its setting is everything must be saved to my memory card even changed the amount or size of pics. Even changed the type of pictures that can be taken from super fine to normal.

Jan 6, 2010I just got the 8900 yesterday, and I had skipped the setup when I opened it up yesterday. Today I decide to restart my BB because I was removing a Google mobile app, so once I restarted, I got the BB set-up tutorial thingy popping up again. So I set the language and set it to not to remind me afterwards. However, once after doing so, the green LED starts flashing green. I asked one of my friends, and he says its Coverage, and told me to turn it off. And I did as I was told, yet its still flashin green. The LED itself isnt flashing constantly like it should in Coverage tho, it blinks about 7-8 times, before it stops, for half a minute and starts blinking once again. Its irriating and I would like to turn it off for good I'm on Rogers carries, and im running 4.6.1.250 OS.

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Loses Data Connection & Green Check Mark?
Sep 15, 2010For the past 3 or 4 days each morning I wake up my 8530 has lost the data connection. When I open "Manage Connections" I see a green check mark next to Mobile Network- Verizon Wireless and Wifi so I know it's connected. If I un-check the Mobile Network and wait for it to disable then reconnect it will work fine and all my e-mails and texts from the night get pushed through. I have great service at my house so I'm not sure why my phone keeps losing the data connection at some point during the night. I am running the latest OS .886 and this is my second 8530 "certified pre-owned device" as my first 8530 died. I also did a battery pull the first day I noticed this which re-connected the data but it happened again when I woke up the next morning.Has this happened to anyone else?
