I've just got an x10i, 2 days ago, mainly for the huge screen.The problem I have is films only play as tiny thumbnails, about 1 x 1.5 inch.I've transferred by drag and drop and via media to go, even tried setting defaults, but to no avail.I've figured out most things with my phone but not this.It's really infuriating as I've bought a phone for it's big screen only to watch small sized clips.
View 1 RepliesAs the title said, deleted photo's thumbnails appear in my N97's capture gallery. I capture an image or two and when I go to my Photos > Captured I see tumbnails of images I deleted a long time ago. When I open a file I still see an image that was deleted ower a year ago.
Only when I click "edit" do I see the recently captured image that I should have seen in the first place.I tried everything. Restore factory settings, delete everything the phone lets me in explorer... still the problem persists. Any ideas on how to fix this?
It wont play all my videos, just a few of them. All my videos are MP4 and 3GP-files, so I wonder what may be wrong with the others...size, frame (or something)? It's weird because it's playing files about 6 000 kb, but not 300 kb. Where's the logistic?

When I am trying to play any mp4 videos in a default player, appears a error "Can not play video." I tried to intall other players from market, but nothing, same problem. Also, its not a problem with video files, because I asked my friend to try playing the same mp4 videos which my X10 Mini can't play and he had no problems with them... All videos played correctly in a default player.
Also I tried to reinstall OS, but problem still exists.

I don't know where to find the codec to download it and what is its extension. All that beside my biggest problem that I cant access the android market application.

I've tried finding the private folder where the cache is-doesn't exist
It has something to do with the phone memory, can't find the cache/thumbnail folder there...
I successfully upgraded to Android 2.1 on my Xperia x10 Mini Pro. After the upgrade everything works beautifully except 2 things.
1> I am unable to play any online videos. When I try loading the video it does not load the control for it and shows a small square block like a Lego brick. Looks like the browser is missing some add-on like Flash or something. Have tried installing Flash for the browser but it said Flash is already installed.. Have tried downloading a different browser, like Opera but that does not help either.
2> This is not very important, but for some reason the alarm does not work any more. I can set the alarm on the phone. It shows that the alarm is set for a particular time but when the time comes it does not ring. Have tried using different applications for this but those don't work either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having a problem since before i updated my phone, i've used 3 different USB cables(sony cables-the one i got when i bought it, also, it used to connect before and i can connect other phones so it's not the cables) on 2 different laptops (works with other phone) but all it does is charge and nothing more...it doesn't give me the ''connect your phone'' option. I went into connectivity, changed the connectivity mode, tried pc companion..nothing..my phone is not rooted or anything. i've unmounted and mounted my SD card in another phone and it works so it's not my SD..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've noticed a strange artifact on all of my pictures and videos from my xperia ray camera - I have two bright, but tiny pink dots approximately at the center of each picture and video that I take, in addition to that - they are there even in the viewfinder I've tried multiple settings - setting the scenes up manually didn't fix it, image stabilizer off, auto white and balance off - nothing worked. This doesn't look like the pink spot issue, because... well these dots are much, much smaller.

Before no other folder available inthere other that the dcim, now maybe due to image or camera app, it added some folders. View 2 Replies View RelatedInitially I used my Z3 without SD card. Everything word fine: album AND the foto widget which allows to browse through taken pictures.
After
- installing an SD card,
- changing the location for newly taken pictures to SD card
- AND moving some pictures to other directories -
- AND creating a number of .nomedia files on these directories to make these pictures not appear in the album nor in the foto widget,
the foto widget shows a broken image icon for ALL pictures taken until this change. All new pictures display fine in the widget and the album app.
I delete the album cache and data file (in settings -- all apps -- album).This didn't change anything (so far).
How can I force the album app/widget to recreate it's database and preview/thumbnails??

I'm talking Google play movies, Netflix, vine, YouTube, browser vids, etc. I exchanged my phone twice for the same reason, and its still happening. Verizon insisted they've never heard of this issue before, but there is no way I'm that unlucky to have gotten three defective phones.
