Xperia Z2 :: Recognizes Earphones Connection After 6-8 Seconds
Oct 5, 2014
I have xperia z2 running android 4.4.2 1 kitkat and I want to know if taking almost 6 seconds of time is a normal thing for my device to recognize earphones connection. things I did already that haven't worked: restarted the device, boot to safe (takes the same time duration), used different earbuds and headphones, wiped the headphone jack...
I bought this phone specifically for listening to music, however it has a fatal flaw for me.I plug in the Nokia supplied earphones with or without the remote control, or standard earphones of any kind and the radio picks up stations and MP3's play beautifully. For 30 seconds.
Then the earphones disconnect or the radio stops playing and tells me to connect the wired headset, though it has not been disconnected or even budged on the table.I then stop the MP3 player or radio. Still not unplugging the earphones, and they miraculously reconnect again..I have just tested it and this happens with phone calls as well.I have updated the firmware to 10.01 and everything else works fine, just this disconnecting problem.
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.
I have my S6 Edge connected via Bluetooth and each time there is a new chapter in Audible or a pause in Pandora audio, I noticed that audio fades in after a few seconds. This makes me lose a little bit of the audio each time. Is there some sort off Bluetooth optimization going on here or a tweak I can perform so that this doesn't happen anymore?
My z2 wont recognize that my phones are connected. I've contacted the customer support and i follwed there steps and it just restarted my phone and didn't end upsolving the problem.
When I plug in my noise cancelling earphones my tablet thinks a mic has been plugged in and earphones don't work.? I've been thru sound settings and can find nothing..
I have a Sony Xperia Pro running Android 2.3.4.When I plug another earphone that`s not the one within the phone box, the phone doesnt recognize it.I`d tried the earphones in my computer and it works.
Device: Nokia 5230 Provider: 02 Pay as you go (Text and web, unlim text and internet)
First problem:Updating my device; When I try to update my device, it hangs for a few seconds on 'connecting', then I get a connection error. I can connect to the net easy enough, but not update my device.
Second problem.Installing Ebuddy;I've downloaded the popular social networking application to my phone, but when it comes to installing it, i get the error message saying "CONNECTION FAILED! Your internet settings must be activated for Java applications, or try again later.
The apple logo appears for 5 seconds then disappears for 10 then appears for five and so on. I can get it to the connect to iTunes screen but as soon as I unplug it from the wall it shuts off completely. A laptop with iTunes isn't enough to power it up.
I have tried almost everything. I deleted the file in the Update Service folder, re-downloaded, and reinstalled so many times, tried setting the PCC to check for updates every time phone is plugged in(which it said on the SE website, but isn't an option at all. Could anyone perhaps shed some light. I am getting pretty frustrated with all this nonsense.
I updated my my phone to 2.1v1. It is a new phone to me so not sure about its characteristics. When I bring the phone out of sleep by pressing the back button it will stay on for about 3 seconds then switch off. This without dragging the unlock button to unlock it. If I drag the unlock button it will stay on as usual. So is it normal for the phone to switch itself off after 2/3 seconds if the screen is untouched?
My x10 has over the past day started cutting all my calls both in and out after about 30 seconds when i look it says there is no sim recognised then a few seconds later it's fine again, also when i try to do a backup it says there is no memory card registered even though i can access things stored on it when it's plugged into my laptop?
1. ringtones is very slow after 2secounds, but all other notification works good.
2. today for first time wen checked with earphone both music and in call it works in both earphone and as while as phone.
3. i could not use camera after second day only back camera, problem was if i take any photo it would saved in only black or in preview it would be black. both problem raised with lot of heating in back.
so decided to repair with pcc, i had activated myxperia. i disabled it did repair but after repair phone was locked and it was showing my id or password was wrong. so i searched in forum and decided to wipe phone in myxperia, unfortunately in myxperia it was showing locked but i could not wipe. i was getting an error saying that faied try again. after keeping set a side for half an hour it took my id and password and restarted. now i have disabled myxperia but in myxperia still it is showing device is protected. if i try to see location it fails same has earlier.
After repairing from pcc i have not seen any problem in camera except over heat after taking 3or 4 shot.
my xperia keeps on restarting, recently I ve upgraded to ics it worked fine foor 2 days and all of the sudden( no fall nothing ) started restarting again an again?
Recently upgraded my xperia x10 to Android 2.1. The upgrade installed fine but am unable to speak on calls for more than a few seconds since then. Few seconds after a call is connected (while receiving or making) it crashes and the phone shows no network (there is no network coverage issue) and searches for the sd card (similar to at the time of boot). The screen then goes blue.
Sometimes when typing I can't use the back/home keys and the screen becomes unresponsive for a few seconds then will work OK for a while then do the same again.
My screen keeps turning off every 3 seconds even when using my phone. I tried extending the sleep time but regardless of the time chosen it turns off the screen within 3 seconds. I then turned off Stamina mode and it seems to be fine now. But now my battery will die faster without stamina mode. The long lasting battery is why I chose an Xperia Z3.
I have updated my phone to 2.3.4 and started to have this problem, my phone takes a while to wake up ie: when pressing the home button or when the phone rings the screen takes 1.5-2 seconds to light up!
This had been bugging me for 3 days now. I don't have another phone to use. I've tried to repair the software using Update Service but it do no good. After pressing the On button at the top of the phone, the phone will vibrate after a sec and then there's a backlight but the "Sony Ericson" logo does not appear and after about 6 seconds the backlight will fade.
Since I updated the phone on Monday with the latest Sony release 5.0.2 Build Number 23.1.A.1.28 the phone suddenly omits a loud buzzing sound like an out of tune radio station. It lasts about 2-3 seconds and then goes off by itself. What is this all about and why are these updates causing SO MUCH damage to the phone?
I got my Z2 just over a week ago and I noticed that when I have STAMINA mode on that my display keeps timing out every 5 seconds despite the settings being on for 5 minutes.
I am using xperia neo v mobile. When I lock my screen using the power button the backlight gets off (common in all mobiles) after 10 to 15 sec the back light glows again.
My mobile battery started to drain within seconds after recharge . The mobile also restart often. Had given it for service in Bangalore. Workorder no.SE312AT210964. The service and after sales customer support is so pathetic. They kept mobile for 3 weeks and returned it saying battery is not in stock. How to escalate this ?
When I press the market icon (white bag with green robot), a white page is shown and says "loading". after 10 seconds, the page is automatically closed and I see the menu page (where app icons are shown). Android is come from factory 2.3.4. I have not updated.
Having issues with the Z5 when it comes to opening messages, mine will show opening conversation for 20 seconds before actually opening a message then once i complete the message the phone crashes and i have to close all open apps, phone is one month old and I am beginning to regret the change from an iphone. MMS's always make the phone freeze also.
I was hoping a software update would of fixed this issue but sadly it didnt. Not too keen on a much slower phone than previous phone for a further 23 months as this is the remainder of my contract.
