Recently upgraded my xperia x10 to Android 2.1. The upgrade installed fine but am unable to speak on calls for more than a few seconds since then. Few seconds after a call is connected (while receiving or making) it crashes and the phone shows no network (there is no network coverage issue) and searches for the sd card (similar to at the time of boot). The screen then goes blue.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently acquired my first BB, a Curve 9320 and when I linked it to the Desktop Software was enticed into carrying out a firmware upgrade from v7.1 bundle 1319 to v7.1 bundle 2039After automatically running another backup, the upgrade crashed and bricked the device, which has had to be replaced under warranty. The replacement has the original firmware version on it!Should I be tempted to try the upgrade again, or play it safe and keep what I've got?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've now been told by Nokia support chat, that I was supposed to 'monitor' the download, and later the installation of upgrades, when I called and explained that my phone is DEAD AS A DOORNAIL, stuck on the Nokia screen, no life, no hard reset, nothing helps. She failed to explain to me how exactly is it that one 'monitors' a download. Watch the bar? Anyway, stay away from the upgrade the system keeps telling you to do. I've had my $500 phone for 13 months and I'm told I have to pay to have it repaired, cause I'm out of warranty. BTW, if any of you have a suggestion, I'm all ears!

View 1 Replies View RelatedEvery since I upgraded my Droid RAZR MAXX to ICS I've been having a problem playing music that is saved on my 32-Gig SD card. Prior to the upgrade I didn't have the problem. 8 out of 10 songs will skip for 2 seconds after playing for 10 seconds. The 10 seconds is consistent, but as I said 8 out of 10 songs will skip.
When the skipping occurs the device is totally unresponsive; screen and buttons (including power). After the skipping the song will play without any problems. It doesn't appear to be song specific as I've had the same song skip and then not skip. I'm using Verizon's My Music, but the same thing happens with Play Music and PowerAmp. I even fiddled with PowerAmp settings to have a large buffer and increased the priority without any change in the skipping.
I bought a new verizon storm 2 phone, at least I think its new, and unlocked it for t-mobile. A lot of the times, when I make a call or receive a call after like 10 seconds or so, theres no sound and call fails...Is my phone refurbished or this something that happens commonly with the storm 2? Sometimes I receive calls and make calls just fine, but it does this pretty often.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe first time I tried to video camera on my Z3+ the android camera app crashed. After that I was unable to start the camera as it said the device was not available. The Z3+ wasn't hot or been doing anything prior and was at the lock screen. I opened the camera via the camera icon in the bottom right of the lock screen and then attempted to switch to video mode.
Secondly, is there a way to turn off the sound the camera makes when you start it? Even when the notifications are set to silent and the "Sound Slider" is off in the camera settings I still get the little tinkle sound when I start the camera...

But then a few weeks ago I went to connect to my home Wi-Fi and it said Wi-Fi was off, so I turned it on and it crashed. When I finally got it to stop crashing it just said 'No Networks Avalible' even though I know that there is, but most of the time it crashes and I just can't connect to any Wi-Fi at all. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6.
Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.

I updated my my phone to 2.1v1. It is a new phone to me so not sure about its characteristics. When I bring the phone out of sleep by pressing the back button it will stay on for about 3 seconds then switch off. This without dragging the unlock button to unlock it. If I drag the unlock button it will stay on as usual. So is it normal for the phone to switch itself off after 2/3 seconds if the screen is untouched?

1. ringtones is very slow after 2secounds, but all other notification works good.
2. today for first time wen checked with earphone both music and in call it works in both earphone and as while as phone.
3. i could not use camera after second day only back camera, problem was if i take any photo it would saved in only black or in preview it would be black. both problem raised with lot of heating in back.
so decided to repair with pcc, i had activated myxperia. i disabled it did repair but after repair phone was locked and it was showing my id or password was wrong. so i searched in forum and decided to wipe phone in myxperia, unfortunately in myxperia it was showing locked but i could not wipe. i was getting an error saying that faied try again. after keeping set a side for half an hour it took my id and password and restarted. now i have disabled myxperia but in myxperia still it is showing device is protected. if i try to see location it fails same has earlier.
After repairing from pcc i have not seen any problem in camera except over heat after taking 3or 4 shot.
my xperia keeps on restarting,recently I ve upgraded to ics it worked fine foor 2 days and all of the sudden( no fall nothing ) started restarting again an again?

I tried extending the sleep time but regardless of the time chosen it turns off the screen within 3 seconds. I then turned off Stamina mode and it seems to be fine now. But now my battery will die faster without stamina mode. The long lasting battery is why I chose an Xperia Z3.
