Apr 29, 2012When my phone was still in gingerbread, it functioned really well, including Facebook. But then when I updated my phone to ICS, I realized that:Contact pictures are no longer updating.It cannot detect facebook profiles of my new contacts.And when it does detect a facebook profile of one of my new contacts, it does not show any contact picture whatsoever.Statuses were also not syncing (not that they matter)I even resetted my phone into its factory settings and formatted my SD card. I cleared the data of Facebook as well. What should I do?

Aug 23, 2010When I actually do bring up the facebook application it acts ok.The one thing this x10i can't do is upgrade to adobe flashplayer. There are places that tell me I don't have video on my phone in order to view the news clip or whatever.It's not a big deal to me and don't really need it. turn off the facebook "unable to update" in my notifications, without removing facebook entirely.

May 7, 2012The only time my phone lags is after I have used facebook (I dont use timescape). The lag goes away if I force close the app (having logged out). Annoyingly, using task killers doesn't kill it. As going to the app menu gets a bit tedious, I rooted my phone so I could remove the facebook app from the system and then downloaded it from the play store. Then I can use the task killer to kill facebook after I have finished using it.

When I delete this from the status bar, it appears again in seconds, even when I'm on wifi or 3g, and using facebook. So it' driving me crazy, can't make it go away,In the settings menu, at sync settings, my emails and the facebook are synchronised, but facebook inside xperia is not, and there is a green circle next to the others, but this one has red circle and saying there were problems with the sync, it's gonna continue later.is it just because the facebook inside xperia app is not updated yet?

Last few weeks, I upgraded my phone to Android 2.3.4 build 4.0.2 A.0.42 via Software Update service (Location: Thailand, if applicable) and installed the recent Facebook v 1.8.0 from the market. Now, I'm having a problem with Facebook application. It always shows "force close" for this application and it will automatically re-open the application. I find this error most of the time when update status, check-in places and upload photos. I can't capture screen because "Phone Options" dialog appears behind the 'force close' dialog.I try to remove facebook account from TimeScape and use Facebook for Android from the market instead but still not help. how to fix this.

Jan 11, 2015I have a Xperia Z3 and I used to have facebook synced with contacts so I had facebook profile pics on most my contacts. all in all the phonebook looked nice with a pic against a number and a name.

But recently, I've noticed that all these pics have gone missing.Â

When i go to Contacts> Settings>Accounts & Sync
I cant see Facebook listed under the linked Accounts and when I Click on + Add Account i can see the Facebook app but if i tap on it to add it shows a message "Only on Facebook account is supported".

if I come out of Contacts and from main screen go to, Settings>Accounts I can see 2 Facebook accounts, Facebook and also Xperiaâ„¢ with Facebook.

Now if I tap on Facebook it will take me to another page that shows me my facebook email address against facebook logo but nothing (no options) underneath.if i tap on the three vertical dts on top right corner the only options it gives me are Sync now and Remove account. I've pressed Sync now a number of times it doesnt bring facebook contacts to Contacts.

If I tap on Xperia™ with Facebook, shows me last Synced date on a new page and also a tab called Application control settings. now If i tap this it takes me to Xperia™ with Facebook Account Management. underneath it says Apps connected to Facebook account. and it only shows Calender (this has a enable/disable switch next to it)
I've looked everywhere I know but i cant get the phone to sync facebook with Contacts...
