I recently bought Sony Xperia Z2 and all I can say it's great phone. I just found a thing which is sort of a problem for me. I can't download my own Facebook pictures. When I tap on any photo I've uploaded on Facebook I got only options to "Make profile picture", "Make cover photo", "View album" and "Edit caption".
View 6 RepliesI got the X10 mini about 9 months ago, and upgraded the OS to Android 2.1 as soon as the upgrade was made available. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to view photos properly using the new and improved Facebook app that was installed as part of the upgrade.When I'm using Facebook, it will display thumbnails correctly for each photo, but when I click on the thumbnail to see the photo properly, it will display a pixelated fullscreen version of the photo for about 2-5 seconds which then disappears, leaving me with a 'broken image' symbol and a loading swirl which just stay there indefinitely. Strangely, if my phone goes into sleep mode, when I unlock the screen the pixellated version of the photo is showing again, but will again disappear after a few seconds.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone is a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, and today I noticed that I had many photos in my gallery, that were not me who put that thing there. So, I find out that my Xperia Facebook has synchronized all the photos like my profile pictures, wall photos, cover photos and all the new photos that friends put on facebook. So, I went to settings and disable the automatic synchronization, and then went to Apps -> Manage apps -> and found facebook, then I clicked on Erase data (I don't know if is this the name of the menu in english, because I'm using in portuguese) and it prompts me telling that this action were going to erase all the files that were with facebook in my Xperia. But even after that, the photos remain in my SD card, it didn't erase. I really want to delete it, but it's impossible trying to select all the albums because it don't have the Delete option.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll my contacts are synced, Facebook profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show for incoming/sending calls. Its just the generic picture. However Google+ profile pictures do appear in a small circle on the bottom left corner on a gray background.
PS: The problem started after the 5.0 update. I've already reset the phone and tried doing the update with PC Companion. Nothing works.
Not long ago I took screenshots of in my phone (Xperia Z3) and camera shots which I then sent in a group chat on Facebook to some friends. Not long after I deleted them and it was fine. Recently I have noticed those photos are coming back whenever someone in the group chat sends a photo. Based on this I believe it has something to do with the Accounts section with syncs the contacts and such to your phone.
It is always the same group of images that reappear despite the fact I constantly delete them. I have tried restoring the phone to factory settings, making backups with images deleted and restoring it, removing my accounts and retrying them along with several other solutions. However, I still cannot seem to delete the photos.
I was uploading pictures to facebook using the facebook app, and my photos froze, so I didn't know how to cancel them so I turned off my phone. After that I turned it back on and went to upload the pictures again and I seen Iron Man 2 pictures there, so I went to my galley to check it out and they were there. Five pictures I think, I can't remember I deleted them, they were pretty small. Anyone else have this or an idea of what happened? They weren't on there before I turned my phone off?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had the LG V10 for about a month now and every time I download a picture sent thru text message it is saved to my phone pixelated. I have used both text message apps, have saved to the sd card and device with no difference. Also, when I upload photos to facebook they upload pixelated, but to Instagram they are fine. When I send photos to someone and they upload them to facebook, they look wonderful, and when I save photos to my sd card or device from facebook or whatever they do not show pixelated full screen.
All the photos in my gallery are blurry/pixelated when shown in small view but when I tap one to look at it full view, it is fine. This also happens when searching the internet, all small image icons are blurry/pixelated until brought to full size. I have tried making my photos smaller on the camera settings, also have saved to the sd card vs device and what not and can't seem to find anything that works. The most annoying is when a picture is sent thru text message and when I save it, it downloads pixelated.
On the s4 i had when i synced my photos from facebook to my phone it always showed my photos in albums, Now on my S5 it shows photos from facebook as a whole which is frustrating searching thru 2000 photos to find the one i want.

The post is set to "private" so that no one but me can see it. I can find no way to edit this in the app so I have to go to a computer and open Facebook in a browser to fix it.

I have uninstalled the app, and reinstalled it three times., My location services are on ect ect. I even bought iLoader which was suppose to work...and that hasn't! It gets to the very end of the upload and says it has failed, I haven't changed any settings anywhere so I am unsure why it's stopped letting me upload. The only thing it will let me do is post pictures on to other peoples walls, not my own albums.
