BB Curve :: Tagging Photos And Facebook Places?

iv been accessing my facebook the my BB 8520 as i want to maximize all the functions it offers. just some things i want to make clear about... first, whenver i would use Facebook places, the location pin just would not point at the exact place where i am even if i have added it by myself.. theres no funcition on ho to edit the mp so that itll point exactly ro where it is supposed to be.. nother thng, whenver i would upload pics from BB to facebook.. theres just no feature wherre i can tag pics to my friends.

Just got my blackberry curve 8520 today and want to let my facebook friends know i was at home but the places icon, wasnt giving me a check in option, only showing where my friends where. can anyone help and let me know how i check in on the facebok app?

I have a BlackBerry curve 8520 and i'm with T-Mobile. I have version 5.0 updated on my device and I have recently upgraded my Facebook application, my friends have the exact same phone as me and their Facebook places are now working... but when I try to "Check in" on my device it says No GPS Support, Your device does not support location servives. To use Facebook Places, a device with buillt-in location services is required. How come my friends have it and I don't?

does anyone know how to really sort out places in facebook? i know the 8250 doesnt have gps but it should still work using cell site location..i can get my location using google maps using cell site so i know my phones cell site works, but dont understant why it wont work in Facebook.

Facebook places was working fine on my device, but now it wont show my proper location on the facebook places map when i'm at home....when im out at other places it works fine, but i've never had this problem before as i used to be able to check in where i live...Blackberry maps show the right location but the facebook one dosn't....My facebook is up to date so i know thats not the problem.

I just bought my Blackberry Curve 8520 3 weeks ago. I'm just wondering why I can't use Facebook Places. My cousin has also the same unit but she can use it. I go to Settings then Options then Advance Options and I can only find Location Settings. I have paired my phone to same Blackberry 8520. Location Services is ON. Location Data is ENABLED. And one thing more, I cannot received files through bluetooth.

I have the latest 9320 3g bb, i don't have the BB Addon, and im using wifi, when i try to check in it just says aquiring location and my location is never found. In my options GPS services are all on and in my fb settings places is also on but it's still not working? do i need to edit a privacy setting on fb?

I've tried to use places on fb but it doesn't give me the option. On share my location with facebook the writings grey and its not available. I've tried upgrading the fb but it says my device isn't compatible or something like that. I have a 8520 curve, everyone else i know who has the same phone and network 02 can use theirs and its frustrating that I cant use something simple on it.

I am wondering is it possible to put the location of where the photo was taken on a Lumia 1020? I see in the settings there is some "use location" but I have no clue where it saves the information as I can't see it in the properties of the picture.

I downloaded the new version facebook the other day and ever since then I haven't been able to use my places feature. It keeps saying "unable to retrieve your location, please try again later." I've re-downloaded facebook hoping that would help and it didn't. Does any have any idea on how I can fix this?

connecting to the Places App via Facebook, keeps saying Location temporarily unavailable, I have contacted my Wi Fi supplier who assures me everything is connected and fine, even refreshed it, checked all settings on fone and the only thing I've noticed is that it won't allow me to tick the Share My Location With Facebook option, it's a grey colour and I can't tick it!

My Wife has a BB Torch and we can't find the 'Places' icon on the ribbon/banner of the Facebook app. I pressed the menu button and check options but there was nothing in there. I tried to check for Face updates but it was check off to check automatically. GPS location is enabled in system properties.

for the past 2 days FB places hasnt worked on my torch. When i go into options the check box is greyed out so I cant select it. Ive searched through like a million support forums who all seem to say the same thing...the GPS or maps is disabled. I have checked all these and they are all enabled. GPS location is on, I confirmed this is by switching on the Geo tagging on my camera, all working fine...

For the past week or so when i try and check in on facebook places on my blackberry bold 9780 its not been working, its always worked perfect until i tried about a week or so ago, and since then ive tried nearly everyday just to see if its working but no nothing, keeps coming up with facebook error 2002 try again later. It works fine, finds my location, asks me if i want to check in, i click on check in and thats when the error message comes up, so doesnt let me finally check in. I dont know if its since ive updated to the new facebook app, i dont always use places, just now and again ,but always has worked great, until when i tried a week ago, it wouldnt let me and hasnt since. Ive got my location settings ON on options and ive refreshed GPS ,tried it with wireless on and wireless off, in many different locations, reboot phone etc but nope still the same.

I recently recieved a replacement DX2. I think when I recieved the replacement phone, I forgot un unmount the SD card from the old phone.When I plug the phone into my computer, I see that photos are stored in the DCIM folder for both the E: drive Removable disk and in K: drive MOT. Why is this? Should I drag the photos from K: over to E: ?Also, I am using Quickpic as a gallery viewer so I can store the photos in folders.

Im going to the US this summer for a long excursion, i intend to take a large amount of photos on my iphone, i just wondered if i 'places' still worked when 1.data roaming is turned off and 2. if airplane mode was on for obvious reasons i dont want to come back after 3 months and find that i have a phone bill of over a thousand pounds because i left data roaming on.

All of a sudden I can not successfully upload BB photos to Facebook. I upgraded and did get some photos uploaded then a few days later I am not able to do so. On the BB it appears to have worked just fine but they do NOT show up at Facebook.

This might sound like a silly question but i've set up facebook on my blackberry which is fine, then my mom brought the same one and asked me to set up hers aswell for her, and somehow on my moms i managed to do something that made peoples facebook pictures come up as there contact photo in her address book, but now i cant figure out how to do it on mine! lolll. I was uploading pictures to facebook using the facebook app, and my photos froze, so I didn't know how to cancel them so I turned off my phone. After that I turned it back on and went to upload the pictures again and I seen Iron Man 2 pictures there, so I went to my galley to check it out and they were there. Five pictures I think, I can't remember I deleted them, they were pretty small. Anyone else have this or an idea of what happened? They weren't on there before I turned my phone off?
