Xperia X10 :: Battery Keeps Decharging Despite The Charger On?
Feb 9, 2011
its battery keeps declining even after a prolonged period of charging and finally it turns off reaching to 0%....i cant understand what s consuming the battery even when it is on charging cuz wi-fi and bluetooth are off.i am about to get rid of this phone.
Is the battery in the Mini still getting "massaged" when plugged in and fully loaded, after the 2.1 update?I think that this is a supercool feature and hope it is still in action
i have recently purchased my SE neo V , however i have noticed that , the battery charges point has became lose ..... & some time it doesn't support for charging of the phone as its require certain position / support to charge
i have checked (overlooked) the chip inside the phone seems to be fine, but i can feel that the USB cable has not doesn't fit in slot like earlier
I went to bed last night and my Xperia X10a was charging just fine via USB to PC. When I woke up this morning it was off and the status light was blinking red like it was dead. I couldn't get it to charge on my PC so I tried my boyfriends wall charger and when it booted up it was at 86% battery. I have had it on the charger since and it is not gaining battery life it is losing. I am now at 61%!
Evening bought my phone on the 22nd of December but it sometimes switches off even when the battery is not low and i cant switch it back on unless i put on a charger.
I just got an Xperia x8 and I want to plug it in to charge the battery and also to connect it via usb to my laptop but I don't get how to plug the charger into the phone. I can see where it is supposed to go (to the left of the on/off switch) on the top edge of the handset but, there there is a covering over the jack with a usb symbol on it. I can not believe I am having so much trouble with such a simple task, it's embarrassing. how to plug the usb cord or battery charger into the x8 handset.
I bought an ORIGINAL CHARGER yesterday. I drained my battery first before using the ORIGINAL SONY CHARGER. But I woke up this morning, I saw 80% only on its screen but when I turned on and charge again, the battery reaches until 90%-91% and then when I keep on charging, the percent result declined to 88%. I want to see that 100% ....
I have had my phone connected to the wall charger for hours now and it just keeps flashing the Sony Xperia screen and vibrating. The LED light turns on for a second then turns off. It's like it is stuck in a loop.
Within a minute or so after my phones removed from the charger it drops to 95%. After that the battery life is normal. I recently updated to 4.3 and it might coincide with this issue but I can't be sure.
The battery simply won't charge from my charger. It will charge fine in the car, but from the wall? I have to manipulate the plug (as if there's a short), but there isn't. Now, it just doesn't hold a charge at all. And, I got a new battery, so there.
My blackberry torch got discharged yesterday and it wont just re-charge. I kept it overnight to charge but no joy, tried a different charger but no juice . After some fiddling I see the red light on the device when I plug-in my charger and see the lightning symbol for a few seconds before it gives way to an empty battery with a red cross. I have tried this procedure various times but no joy.
why the battery drains so much when taking it off the charger and prevent it from happening. When I took it off the charger it immediately jumped down to 98 and then within a minute jumped down to 95.
I think it says on my original E71's battery charger (AC-5E) that it comes with an output 5V-800mA (it is not clearly readable anymore).
However, all my other chargers have an 5V-350mA output, and when I load my E71 with them, it also takes waaay longer. But when I want to buy another charger (and I also checked the E71 page), it only says AC-5E, and I only find it with an 350mA output, never 800mA...
After my battery reach 45-50% it shuts off automatically and when i plugged the charger the battery is at 0%. i replaced the battery already but i dont think it is a battery problem.
So I was on a road trip today and when I plugged in the phone in the car dock I had full battery. Then I turned on navigation and slacker radio. About an hour travel the battery started to charge according to the battery icon. My question is, why did the battery discharge while on external power? Does the factory charger not have enough capacity to charge the phone while being used? If so something is wrong with the whole designe of the charging system.
Today while I was charging my phone I had something interesting happen my battery started discharging. While the phone was on the charger it became very hot. I Took the phone to the phone to the sprint store store where they ordered a new one as they could not figure out the problem. Once I got back home the phone started charging normally.
Twice in the past week it seems like the charger (OEM Blackberry Wall Charger) actually killed the battery when charging overnite !! Put it on charger overnite as usual and the first time it happened i looked at the phone in the morning and it said something like "shutting down due to low battery" Put it on the car charger and finally powered back up but then would not recognize the media card, had to do a battery pull to get it back. Couple days later got some wierd "OS system failure" message in the morning but this time didn't lose the media card. Both times when i left the phone it showed that it was charging. Haven't left it on overnite anymore but seems to be fine when i use the charger for a short period.
My BB Curve 8520's battery charges so slow. I thought that maybe my battery is just so drained since I usually charge when my battery is dead. But i have noticed that in the succeeding days, it really charges so slow. And today, as i speak, is the worst.I have started charging at 10am and until now (time here in the Philippines is 3:30pm), it is still low battery. Thus, it has been 5 hours of charging.
is the battery electrical power charger for curve same as Pearl? I have a pearl and if I purchase a curve then would not need the car and electrical charger.
My Storm 9500 is 18 mths old. Wasn't happy with the battery - would barely see the day out, so I bought a new one a few months ago, doesn't seem to last much longer. Current OS 5.0 I've had Meterberry on it for several months, set it to reset overnight automatically. Last weekend I installed a new theme I bought from Mobihand, Reflect7 Carbon. Average discharge rate on Sunday was a whopping 15% per hour. Put phone on charge, seemed ok on Monday. Charged Monday night and the battery completely discharged. Pulled the plug out and pulled the battery, plugged back in and it wouldn't charge at all - dead as a doornail. Put my other battery in. Used the phone to make a couple of calls during the day, also watched about an hour of a movie and still had 20% when I got home from work. Plugged in to charger last night and found it dead again this morning, battery won't charge now. That's two batteries completely dead in a couple of days! I'll have to go buy another battery today coz I don't have a phone now. Worried about killing another battery any ideas?
Used the new Moto Turbo Charger (Quick Charge 2.0) charger with success on my M8 when it was Sense. Now I've converted it to a GPE edition, and 2 of the 3 times I've used the charger since, the battery meter becomes stuck during/after the charge. Once at 64%, once at 80%. Restarting the phone gets it working again.
So I'm thinking the battery has become uncalibrated? Would draining it to 0%, then charging it non stop to 100% be away to fix this? One site said wipe the cache partition and Dalvik cache. Another suggested something with both volume keys that wipes the battery memory.
This problem has just started today. I left my phone to charge after some heavy usage at about 25%. A few hours later and I unplug my phone to see it at 100%, but then suddenly it drops down to 98%.
I replaced my batter on my iphone 3gs and then it will only turn on when i connect it to a power source. After it has turned on you can take it off charge and it will stay on...
When I try and connect the iPone to the charger it has difficulty making a proper connection and will actually drain the battery instead of charging it up. Do I need to replace the battery?
