Motorola Xoom :: Portable Charger Available For It?
Jan 13, 2012I have searched the forum and have checked the Internet looking for a portable charger that works with the Xoom. Just for clarification I am talking about an external battery for charging when a outlet is not available. Will be traveling and want to make sure that the Xoom will be powered up for duration of the flight. I have seen varying opinions but nothing solid.

Oct 26, 2015My issue may not be specific to the Moto X 2014, but it's the phone I'm using. I'm able to tether my Moto X to my Dell laptop and use the internet, no problem.
But when I turn on the portable wi-fi hotspot, give it a network name, set security to WPA2 PSK, broadcast channel (either 2.4 or 5 GHz) and give it a password (at least 8 characters), it doesn't work. My laptop connects, but there's no internet data.
Given that I'm able to share my mobile phone data plan with my laptop via a tether, I'm curious as hell to know why the hotspot feature isn't work.

At first, it wouldn't charge so i had to find a different charger that i had ordered from amazon (not from apple) and it only worked when i plugged it in with one side. the other chargers that i have from apple do not work. the home button sometimes works correctly, but im sure that it starts to not respond correctly after i plug the charger in. i have tried almost everything i could find on the internet. im not sure if its a hardware or software problem

May 30, 2010I've noticed that when I use the TomTom app on my iPhone while plugged into my Griffin Powerjolt SE, the battery will actually drain. It seems to drain more slowly than when the iPhone isn't plugged in at all, but nevertheless it drains. From 100%, my phone recently dropped to about 75% for an hour and a half car ride. If I just leave the phone in sleep or playing the iPod, the phone charges. Is this something anyone else has observed? Is there a fix for this?
Also, I'm realizing now that I've always been plugging into the cigarette lighter since that's closest to the dash. Should I be plugging into the socket labeled 12V Power Port?
