When I try and connect the iPone to the charger it has difficulty making a proper connection and will actually drain the battery instead of charging it up. Do I need to replace the battery?
View 3 RepliesI went to bed last night and my Xperia X10a was charging just fine via USB to PC. When I woke up this morning it was off and the status light was blinking red like it was dead. I couldn't get it to charge on my PC so I tried my boyfriends wall charger and when it booted up it was at 86% battery. I have had it on the charger since and it is not gaining battery life it is losing. I am now at 61%!

View 12 Replies View RelatedSince updating my E71 to v500, and then to v510 just recently, I have been suffering from terrible battery life when the phone is connected to a WiFi access point. I'm sure it's not a hardware problem, as I noticed it as soon as I first updated to v500. If I leave the E71 connected to WiFi, my battery will be flat in just a couple of hours and the phone is noticeably hot to the touch. I initially thought it may be the battery being a problem, so I bought a new one but still exactly the same.
On another point, the Podcasting application is now terribly slow. I wish I would have never updated from V300, which was fine. I've tried reinstalling the F/W a few times, and not restoring from a backup, but still the same problem. I also read in another thread that someone deleted the Lotus Notes application, and it fixed this problem, but alas, has not done so for me.
Can I use the charger for my BB8900 for my BB9900?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 & one month ago I have plugged it in to a car charger (not BB original one). In that moment the phone turned off instantly and when trying to turn it back on the LCD remained completely white. I could not make or receive calls, e-mail, etc., the phone was dead whit the LCD white.
when I got home I plugged in the AC charger & the phone started ok. Now if I charge it fully I can use it for one day, or half day if it is very intense used. If the battery goes bellow 75-80% & I access basic functions (e-mail, sms, browsing) in 1-2 mins the LCD goes white & the phone is dead. Basically I need to keep the battery level higher than 80% in order to make sure I can use my phone.
Like the title says, will the battery die faster and need a quicker replacement if I keep the phone connected to the charger for long times? What exactly happens when the phone says "battery full, unplug charger to save power" and the white charging indicator goes off? Does the phone software automatically stop the charging process?Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and the world laughs louder :-)
View 13 Replies View RelatedRecently sometimes my Nexus has been charging extremely slowler than usual. Its so bad now that while in use and plugged into charge, its losing battery. Was 19% when I plugged it in now its 16%.
I tried rebooting to see if it was a bug showing the wrong percentage on the bar but that didn't work.
I bought the device mid December last year, direct from Google. Is this something I should seek a replacement over?
i have collected probably 15 different chargers the last couple of years that I use at various locations to charge my Blackberry, iPhone, and a couple of Samsung Google Nexus Phones. That is every device other than the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch before that. I get the familiar message "the charging source connected to your blackberry device cannot charge your battery", except when connected to RIM manufactured charger or fortunately the USB port on my laptop. How in the world can every phone other than RIM's Blackberry take a charge from the various power sources without problem. I had the problem to some degree on the Torch, but figured RIM would catch on and get it fixed. Now I have the new Bold 9900 and it does not even work on my trusted 12V car charger. If 4 or 5 different devices work with multiple chargers and the Bold 9900 does not work on any it has to be a RIM and BLACKBERRY problem.Maybe the guys in Waterloo are just totally insulated from the rest of the world and only own BlackBerry phones with Blackberry chargers and believe there is not a problem. At least it appear that way with this charger issue and several other issues, but I won't get deeper into that here?

Everything was working fine up until Saturday, charging 1 minute then the next nothing, tried wall charger, car charger and also through the computer...nothing . This is the message the phone displays "The charging source connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery."
The lightning icon is there but the battery level does not increase.I cant downgrade the OS since the computer doesnot recognize the device, I constantly get an error message. "Usb device has malfunctioned."
When I connect through USB port to recharge, I get a message on the blackberry that says something to the effect: "The device you are connected to is not capable of charging your battery." I am able to charge by connecting directly to the 115 V AC plug but not via computer.

When I connected my lightning cable in my phone, suddenly the cable heated and immediately I took it off from the phone, the phone was working properly and it had about 8% charge. I left it for about 48 hours as I didn’t have the cable, It's had no power for some days since I lost my lightning cable - it's basically completely out of power. I've charged it once in the last week with a certified Apple lightning cable, but now it no longer responds to any cables at all.  I've tried with two different cables (neither are certified Apple cables, but both work well with their owner's iPhones) and the phone does not respond at all. I've tried charging through my computer and using a wall socket, but the phone does nothing, even after it's been plugged-in for more than 2 hours.

I restored my iPad 2 and it is working fine, but since I bought my iPhone 4S through Verizon, if I restored it back to original settings, would I have to take it back to Verizon to do that?Or is there a better solution to the problem?

My battrery has been running low quickly . For instance, I charged it yesterday and when it was done charging I made a phone call. I was on the phone for about 11/2 minutes. After I got off I looked at my battery and it was down 1/2 a brick. I've tried removing the battery for awhile, but it doesn't seem to help. I talk on it a lot through the day so I can understand it needing charged at night, but 1 minute off the charger and it's already losing power? I don't use the internet that much, but I do play games. The phone is about a month old. Any advice?
