I was looking to play a movie from my HTC One through my 360 and onto the big screen. This was quite a simple process when I had my old Samsung Galaxy S2 but it seems to be a little more tricky with the HTC One. I have tried a number of external applications (smartglass etc) and USB Debugging doesn't do the trick. How do I play a movie from my phone onto the Xbox? It simply doesn't recognize the phone as a portable device.
Having recently activated my 1520, having upgraded from the Ativ S Neo, I did a restore from the device backup I have on Onedrive, and I just discovered in the about menu that my phone's name is actually Ativ S Neo. It seems to have named it after the backup. How can I straighten that out? I can't find any options to change it.
I have a portable device (Archos 5 UInternet Tablet) that uses the Android operating system.I want to tether the blackberry and use it as a modem via a Bluetooth connection. I've been onto the BB site and the instructions there speak only of Windows and Mac operating systems. I can pair the BB to the Archos but it won't connect and the Archos reports that the BB will not support tethering. Can anyone help me fix this?
After adding a Gmail account to BIS (OS 5.0.484) the Address Book folder is always called Gmail. This doesn't really cause operational problems, but after the sync (and even the service books) are removed, the name remains.
This makes for some confusion when configuring ActiveSync via NotifySync since the folder to sync contacts with is always called Gmail, not Contacts.
My original computer died, and I don't have a phyical back up of my data. If I try to sync the device to a new computer will I lose everything currently on my phone? If so, is there a way around this?
You've probably all been asked this loads and I've read some forums posts and tried software but ive not been able to find a solution or answer.Basically Ive just got myself a Storm2 and was told by my provider that I could sync my emails from outlook to my device and back like a windows mobile device. As ive found out this isnt the case, I really like the phone and dont want to hand it back over to swap for another device but if I dont find a solution then I wont have a choice. My question is, is there any software available that will sync my device to my computer the same as a WM device does through activesync?I have tried Astrasync and Notifysync both which throw errors up and dont work
My iPhone 4 is not being recognized as a USB device by my computer, therefore I can't synch to iTunes. It is also not being recognized when I plug it into the USB port in my car, so it is something with the phone, not my PC. I have the latest iOS on the phone and everything was working fine until today.
When I connect my phone to my computer it makes a noise but doesn't show the iPhone under my computer it also doesn't charge the iPhone when it is connected to it except for a few seconds when I reboot my laptop. When I search under Device manager there is absolutely nothing there. I was attempting to restore my phone yesterday and couldn't do it on my phone alone nor when plugged into my computer so I restored it to a back up on another computer. Also every other computer I've plugged it into recognizes it right away but none of the other one's are mine please assist I don't want to lose all my app's and music thats stored on this computer and I'm going off to college in the fall.
I am trying to transfer photos to and from my phone. However, when I plug in my iphone4S into the computer via USB it will not recognize it as a device. I know that the ports work, as the computer recognizes thumb drives, etc.Â
Is it possible to rename a playlist directly on an iOS 7 device? I see tips about creating a new playlist, naming it a new name, then adding all the songs from the previous playlist, and finally deleting the old playlist. That seems less than convenient. Â
Is there a way to do it in iOS 7? If not, does iOS 8 offer any improvement in this area?
Password protecting iPhone 3gs as a Portable Hard Drive? I recently bought a Brand New iPhone 3gs 32gb Black.I specifically bought the 32gb model so I can use 20gb as a portable flash drive and the rest for regular iphone stuff.Well I am able to use the iphone as a hard drive fine, but I recently noticed a problem.
I am not able to password protect the folders that I am adding. The reason this concerns me is because I have roommates. And 1 of them happens to have an iPhone 3gs also. There are times where I might have to leave my phone unattended in my room like when I go take a shower, etc.
Or even in the unfortunate event where I lose my phone which has never happened before thankfully.
I just wanted to know if there is a simple way to password protect the folders on my iphone 3gs hard drive so that nobody can access the files without the password.I've been searching google for the past hour and am shock that it is the year 2010 and Microsoft has still not implemented this into Windows.
All google search results turn up is websites that want you to download this trialware/freeware which alot of them do not look legit. Is there a simple quick and easy way to do this without installing any software because I really don't want to get any spyware or virus all over this.Is anybody is in the same situation as me, or has a solution to my problem.
I just bought a Mac and I want to switch my iPhone and all of its music and photos and information over to my new computer, how do I switch everything to itunes on my new computer?
How can I rename the bluetooth connections on my iPhone? I have 2 cars with the same handsfree bluetooth systems and they show up with the same name under my iPhone's bluetooth connections. I'd like to rename them so I can identify which car belongs to which connection.
I have searched the forum and have checked the Internet looking for a portable charger that works with the Xoom. Just for clarification I am talking about an external battery for charging when a outlet is not available. Will be traveling and want to make sure that the Xoom will be powered up for duration of the flight. I have seen varying opinions but nothing solid.
I have a Windows Xp service pack 3 and I already install Desktop Manager6.1, the problem is that the computer does not recognize any blackberry device, I tried with three diferents blackberry and no one works. Windows try to install it and later solicites a driver for the device, I alredy see in other computer what drivers the blackberry needs to works and copy them to my Windos Xp but still does not work, is there a driver or something for that windows recognize the blackberry?
I have my backup files. But my computer does not recognize my device due hardware problems. Is there any way to upload my backup files without using desktop manager? I should have use blackberry protect in hindsight.
