I have a Windows Xp service pack 3 and I already install Desktop Manager6.1, the problem is that the computer does not recognize any blackberry device, I tried with three diferents blackberry and no one works. Windows try to install it and later solicites a driver for the device, I alredy see in other computer what drivers the blackberry needs to works and copy them to my Windos Xp but still does not work, is there a driver or something for that windows recognize the blackberry?
no matter what settings I use on the 9650 "Memory" settings. I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.
I have my backup files. But my computer does not recognize my device due hardware problems. Is there any way to upload my backup files without using desktop manager? I should have use blackberry protect in hindsight.
When I connect my phone to my computer it makes a noise but doesn't show the iPhone under my computer it also doesn't charge the iPhone when it is connected to it except for a few seconds when I reboot my laptop. When I search under Device manager there is absolutely nothing there. I was attempting to restore my phone yesterday and couldn't do it on my phone alone nor when plugged into my computer so I restored it to a back up on another computer. Also every other computer I've plugged it into recognizes it right away but none of the other one's are mine please assist I don't want to lose all my app's and music thats stored on this computer and I'm going off to college in the fall.
I am trying to transfer photos to and from my phone. However, when I plug in my iphone4S into the computer via USB it will not recognize it as a device. I know that the ports work, as the computer recognizes thumb drives, etc.Â
believe the source of the problem to be a faulty install of ICS plus a later rooting, as the phone would intermittently go from Android Phone to Unable to Recognize USB Device, to just not being able to recognize the phone. I've uninstalled KIES along with the drivers and installed them back again to no avail. Is it possible to flash the phone with a working Android version without using the computer - through the SD card?
My computer wont recognize my blackberry, i have tried installing to software again, battery pulls, all the driver stuff. i dont know what else to try to get this to work.
I have an error 201 message and my device is caught in endless loop. SPent 1 hour with VErizon last night- and computer will not recognize my device (my guess is that is the endless loop is interfereing) we went to the "wipe" option but to no avail. ANyone have any ideas before I punt this thing and get an I PHone 4 S (and spend a couple of hundred dollars)?
Afternoon, my blackberry was stolen last night so i have gone onto the blackberry protect site to wipe up my data, etc. but the site shows 'add device'. my device is not showing? i know it was definitely installed on my phone because it always used to tell me that my backup was successful after backing up and also, it is on my blackberry app world.
9780 started overheating. Display black but possible to read error 507 message. Desktop software does not recognize plugged in device. When battery is insert device still overheats. What to do?
I just got the new bold and i put memory card and transfered all my numbers via the DM with no problems BUT my computer wont recognize my memory card(the folder option thing that should pop up) nore will it show a folder in "My Computer".What do i need to do to get it to work?
I've just recently downloaded the desktop software to my computer and am having some slight troubles. Everytime I put the device password in the computer, it rejects it and prompts me to try again and so on and so fourth.
whenever I plug it into my computer or search the Device/System folders manually they are hidden (on the bb) or they are simply not there (when i use the explorer) i hat to format the bb a few times, and the problem gets solved for a few minutes.the deal with this is that when i sync the music, wheter is copy and paste on the explorer music folder in the pc or using the BB desktop manager media sync software, it uses the device space, the music gets actually synced into the device but I cannot access this music from the media library. when i try to it says that there is only 1 song, and its the default one that comes with the cellphone; so I look up in the Files app, Device/System folders and they are all Hidden.
I dont know why this folders are hidden so whenever i wanna have access to my music i have to go to files, device folders, show hidden stuff and finally i can see my songs... the thing is that i have to play one by one and i cannot change or switch apps since its not streaming in the media player....im worried about this, Ive reseted the cellphone, backed up, even formated it at the my computer, blackberry(M) properties..
My original computer died, and I don't have a phyical back up of my data. If I try to sync the device to a new computer will I lose everything currently on my phone? If so, is there a way around this?
I got my iPhone 4s back in October, and it worked just fine when syncing with iTunes and all that. Recently however, like in the last 3 weeks or so, whenever I try to plug it into the computer, my computer won't recognize it. It dings like I've inserted a USB, but it doesn't show up in "My Computer" or iTunes, and does not charge. I have tried two different cords. I tried plugging it in on my dad's Macbook, and it was recognized immediately, so I don't think it is the phone. I followed all the steps listed on the Apple technical website, and nothing has worked. I've restarted my phone, reset my phone, updated iTunes and restarted my computer, but to no avail. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W510 and am running Windows 7. It charges just fine when plugged into the wall using the same cord. Other USB's work fine when plugged into the computer.
Whenever I try to plug my iPhone into my windows laptop to charge or sync music to or whatever, it just doesnt appear to recignise it at all. It doesn't appear in the Devices tab of iTunes, and doesn't appear in Devices with Removable Storage under My Computer.
I just plugged my brothers phone into my laptop and it recognised it perfectly! It appeared in both My Computer and iTunes...
when I plug my iPhone into my computer it doesn't recognize it, ive tried using different cables, differnt computers, updating my phone software, updating iTunes and none of it works, also when i want to charge my phone I have to turn it of, connect the wall charger to it, and turn it back on in order for it to start charging.
Why I first bought my Verizon 8gig iPhone 4, I plugged it into my laptop and began following all the steps to link it to my itunes( upgraded from black 8gig i4 to this white one) it was working fine, and my laptop died halfway through the process. Ever since my laptop never even made the noise when I plugged it in. It wasn't a huge issue, as I only used my phone for pictures, texting, and calls, and facebook, but now my memory is full and I need to get files off it. I borrowed my girl's laptop and i found out that it doesn't get recognition from ANY computer.
I went through the provided troubleshooting on the support site and everything seemed normal. But I then realized that the apple mobile USB driver is not showing up in the device manager.
I'm trying to connect my phone to my computer for the first time, and I'm not having any luck. I've tried my computer and my boyfriend's computer, and it doesn't work on either. When I plug it in to the USB, it charges, so I don't think it's a problem with the cord. The troubleshooting portion of the BlackBerry desktop manager isn't much help, as I don't know how to do?
