I have an error 201 message and my device is caught in endless loop. SPent 1 hour with VErizon last night- and computer will not recognize my device (my guess is that is the endless loop is interfereing) we went to the "wipe" option but to no avail. ANyone have any ideas before I punt this thing and get an I PHone 4 S (and spend a couple of hundred dollars)?
View 1 Repliesbelieve the source of the problem to be a faulty install of ICS plus a later rooting, as the phone would intermittently go from Android Phone to Unable to Recognize USB Device, to just not being able to recognize the phone. I've uninstalled KIES along with the drivers and installed them back again to no avail. Is it possible to flash the phone with a working Android version without using the computer - through the SD card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Windows Xp service pack 3 and I already install Desktop Manager6.1, the problem is that the computer does not recognize any blackberry device, I tried with three diferents blackberry and no one works. Windows try to install it and later solicites a driver for the device, I alredy see in other computer what drivers the blackberry needs to works and copy them to my Windos Xp but still does not work, is there a driver or something for that windows recognize the blackberry?

When I attach the USB cable to the BB the system tray does not pop up with a notification that says "found new hardware" like it normally does when you plug a BB in. When the phone boots up it displays error msg " JVM Error 513". I attempted to looking into the device by using "cracmem" and "JL_Cmder" and no data is to be found and thus there is nothing to wipe. I suspect that the device has already been wiped thus the no data. I have pulled the battery from the phone and reinstalled; unplugged the usb cable during the BB boot process and nothing is happening. The DM application loader will not allow me to procede due to computer not recognizing the BB device thus it is not generating the "USB:UNKNOWN".

I have a new replacement 4s. I am trying to set it up. I hate iCloud but need it to sync my calendar to my phone. I mistakenly set it up to sync Contacts too and found out it synced ALL contacts which I do NOT want. I used to use iTunes to sync only selected contact folders (one I call Sync). Others are too sensitive to have on my phone. So I turned off "where is my iPhone", and turned off "Contacts" on iCloud. It said it would delete all my contacts on my phone the next time I sync (using iTunes). So I try to sync my Contacts using iTunes and find that under "Info" on the device tabs my only possible selection is ALL contacts with the "Selected" button greyed out. But even leaving all checked, I get the message "iTunes cannot sync information with the iPhone because syncing has been disabled on this computer (my Mac). Do you want to enable syncing?" I hit the button "Enable syncing" and I get the error message "Syncing cannot be enabled on this computer" with "Override" and "OK" my choices. If I select "OK" I get the error message "iTunes could not sync information to the iPhone (Name) because a sync session could not be started". I can sync my music and my apps but get this stupid message otherwise.

I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.

Woke up today with my phone not switching on but having just the error message, APP ERROR 606 - RESET. I have tried to find a solution on website but to no avail.
What is this error message about and how do I make my phone working again?
When I try to text it sometimes goes through immediately but most times it tries with the red box and check mark and then it gives me a SMS error 97. Sometimes I get an SMS Error 0. I can no longer resend the message. This has never happend with any other blackberry I have had. It always tried to send the message until it got it through. While this is going on I still recieve e-mails and text messages. What is the problem and how can I address it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a curve 8310 on o2 and moved to a bold 9700 still on o2.When i moved i used the desktop manager and did the device switch over, all went well including bbm etc.However whenever i tried to send an email i recieved the error message 'transaction error failure at service' - I tried to log into my bis account online to update my pin but i couldnt log on! i havent changed the password or username since my old blackberry so i cant log on to change it online. on my blackberry when i try to log on to email settings it says the username field is blank!
i called o2 they put me through to geek squad and wanted to charge me to help!!! I got my iPhone 4s back in October, and it worked just fine when syncing with iTunes and all that. Recently however, like in the last 3 weeks or so, whenever I try to plug it into the computer, my computer won't recognize it. It dings like I've inserted a USB, but it doesn't show up in "My Computer" or iTunes, and does not charge. I have tried two different cords. I tried plugging it in on my dad's Macbook, and it was recognized immediately, so I don't think it is the phone. I followed all the steps listed on the Apple technical website, and nothing has worked. I've restarted my phone, reset my phone, updated iTunes and restarted my computer, but to no avail. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W510 and am running Windows 7. It charges just fine when plugged into the wall using the same cord. Other USB's work fine when plugged into the computer.

Whenever I try to plug my iPhone into my windows laptop to charge or sync music to or whatever, it just doesnt appear to recignise it at all. It doesn't appear in the Devices tab of iTunes, and doesn't appear in Devices with Removable Storage under My Computer.
I just plugged my brothers phone into my laptop and it recognised it perfectly! It appeared in both My Computer and iTunes...

Why I first bought my Verizon 8gig iPhone 4, I plugged it into my laptop and began following all the steps to link it to my itunes( upgraded from black 8gig i4 to this white one) it was working fine, and my laptop died halfway through the process. Ever since my laptop never even made the noise when I plugged it in. It wasn't a huge issue, as I only used my phone for pictures, texting, and calls, and facebook, but now my memory is full and I need to get files off it.
