Jun 3, 2014I have a new replacement 4s. I am trying to set it up. I hate iCloud but need it to sync my calendar to my phone. I mistakenly set it up to sync Contacts too and found out it synced ALL contacts which I do NOT want. I used to use iTunes to sync only selected contact folders (one I call Sync). Others are too sensitive to have on my phone. So I turned off "where is my iPhone", and turned off "Contacts" on iCloud. It said it would delete all my contacts on my phone the next time I sync (using iTunes). So I try to sync my Contacts using iTunes and find that under "Info" on the device tabs my only possible selection is ALL contacts with the "Selected" button greyed out. But even leaving all checked, I get the message "iTunes cannot sync information with the iPhone because syncing has been disabled on this computer (my Mac). Do you want to enable syncing?" I hit the button "Enable syncing" and I get the error message "Syncing cannot be enabled on this computer" with "Override" and "OK" my choices. If I select "OK" I get the error message "iTunes could not sync information to the iPhone (Name) because a sync session could not be started". I can sync my music and my apps but get this stupid message otherwise.

Nov 26, 2011I have an error 201 message and my device is caught in endless loop. SPent 1 hour with VErizon last night- and computer will not recognize my device (my guess is that is the endless loop is interfereing) we went to the "wipe" option but to no avail. ANyone have any ideas before I punt this thing and get an I PHone 4 S (and spend a couple of hundred dollars)?

by the way today i kind of played with the iphone and i found an option called "network" and inside i unabled the option "internet shering" (my iphone is in another language so maybe the translation is a bit diffrent).

Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

Feb 10, 2010I have a customer who came in the other day with a problem. He purchased a Samsung Omnia II from Bell and had them unlock the phone for him so he can use it in the Dominican while he's down there for 2-3 months at a time. Problem is this, he hasn't been able to successfully get the phone to connect with his computer. Bell tech support have gone over several possible solutions to no avail. He has tried connecting to both a Windows based PC as well as a Mac and still no connection, although the Mac apparently will get further in connecting before failing.
I'm wondering if the phone being unlocked might be causing the issues, but Bell themselves unlocked it. The customer is coming back in this weekend and I would like to have some kinda answer or at least hope of an answer for him.
