I've just updated to the new 2.1 and only 1 of my contacts has been restored?I downloaded the newest version of Back up and Restore before the update?Is there anyway I can retrieve my contacts?I've also had to re install the apps one by one too? A couple didn't restore at all? But the contacts is the main one!

I've just upgraded my x10 to 2.1 and all of my contacts are not being restored, where are they? It took 10 minutes to restore the contacts so they must be there somewhere, does anybody know where?I've tried importing them from the memory card in the phonebook options but it says that it can't read the memory card.

I am trying to copy all my data from my torch to my bold siince the torch has to go for repairs, have tried deivce switch, normal backup and restore, backup through blackberry protect, everything else works fine except the copy of contacts, which obviously is the most improtant thing. when i try to restore the contacts through the DM, through the customize option where i can select what i want to restore (contacts, emails, etc) everything else is open to choose except the contacts, where i cant select the contacts as its marked in grey and a little piece of information below says this is only a read only data hence cant be copied.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the bold 9700 V5.0.0.321 I had all my contacts duplicated due to sync of my phone with the gmail.on one the contact it duplicate about 10 names and when i tried to delete one of them it deleted everyone of those names. I found out (maybe the wrong way) that you go to the address book press Options -> then press R S E T -> which deleted all of my contacts in the address book and now I cant restore it back. Every time I input the data names and numbers it wont save it. I had the back up but it says the DM doesn't recognise the data. Is there anyone that can help me on how to put my contacts back into my phone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just installed "the latest" update - but just as the update program tells me to I made a backup to the SD card. But now the backup file cant be read back to restoration of the system.
Is there a way to go around this and open the backup file and extract some of the info?
I updated through my phone not itunes to 5.1 everything worked and is fine except it deleted all my contacts in my contact list. The weird thing is that in my txts the names are there and if you hit contacts at the top of the txt it shows all the info of the contact like id be looking at it in my contact list.

I have a storm 9530. I had a contact list and a backup restore setting I accidently set my phone to on my pc through DM. I was wondering if there is any way to reverse this or possibly find contacts I had saved before I did the restoer. I did not back it up before I updated my contacts. When i wanted to do Restore from backup... i was able to see my restore point.. i can select it.. restore process goes well .. all DONE.
BUT NOTHING RESTORED... not a single photo.. contact... app... anything...
I just purchased a Xperia Z3+ dual and the first time I turned it on with both sim cards it was working fine. Then for some reason the second sim stopped working on the 2G gsm network. I factory restored the phone and it worked again.The thing is that yesterday as soon as I activated the Find my xperia service the 2nd sim stopped working again.
