i'v been having problems since i've bought the phone, i'm truly dissapointed in this phone. now it switches off on its own and also freezes all the time. got 2.1!!
View 3 RepliesI updated my my phone to 2.1v1. It is a new phone to me so not sure about its characteristics. When I bring the phone out of sleep by pressing the back button it will stay on for about 3 seconds then switch off. This without dragging the unlock button to unlock it. If I drag the unlock button it will stay on as usual. So is it normal for the phone to switch itself off after 2/3 seconds if the screen is untouched?

I just press the multi tasking button to force-close it. Also tried to force stop the app before relaunching it, same problem. PS i have done reset, master reset and updated the phone to the newest software available and i have only had the phone a few days.
Just bought a z3 and I've been having some strange issues. For example if I play a YouTube video it loads fine, it starts to play but about 10 secs in the screen freezes yet the audio continues. Other issues also occur when I try to skip parts of a video it just refuses to load. Its occurring throughout all videos on all formats no matter if I go through a browser. Have also tried WiFi versus data no difference.

I am trying to upgrade my Neo V to ICS android (4.0.2.a.0.62). While having the PCC on to latest version, and connect the mobile , software will identify it with no issues. I have been connecting both with MTP and MSC modes. The update starts, downloads from internet and prepares the laptop with no issue. When the sequence gives command to mobile to shutdown and start for the update then, I can hear the sound of reconnection, the led is green, on pc it find a new hardware (SEMC flash) and then freezes. I have tried with USB debug active and not with no difference.
I have tried with Unknown sources (under application) active and not with no difference. I tried the same in windows safe mode with the same result. I tried the Update service also and anytime I connect (press and hold menu or back key and then plug) freezes always. I removed any antivirus on mobile with no result. On PC when connected I can see on the device manager that the usb drivers are Microsoft ones. I have downloaded the Android SDK tools (including usb drivers) but as long as the process stucks on the Found new hardware, I cannot proceed further. I am running on WinXP Pro.
