Jul 27, 2015When I select a contact from my list n hit call button or dial a number and hit call button the screen switches off even though the call is going on still. For example if I want to give a missed call it is not possible as the screen is going blank. Is there any setting for it?

Aug 17, 2010W995 has an indoor 3G signal problem. When you hold it in your hand like you mostly do, 3G signal disappears and the phone switches to 2G mode. Hence, outside of the buildings the phone generally keeps 3G signals without any problem. Checked it with another 3G capable GSM Operator's line but nothing changes. I can not make video calls when I'm home. I've got the latest software for my phone.

It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.

Whenever I go into my "Messages" app, it either shows up as a blank white page or shows previous messages but the screen freezes on the page. Sometimes I am able to text but then it starts freezing again. I am unable to call anyone. My battery is drastically draining. My phone just decides to freeze randomly and will turn off by itself. When double clicking the home button to "close" apps, my phone freezes. I have tried to update to the new IOS 8.1.2, but whenever I choose the "agree" option, my phone doesn't do anything.

I wait couple of more seconds and then the screen comes back and I continue using it normally. When I bring the phone out of sleep by pressing the back button it will stay on for about 3 seconds then switch off. This without dragging the unlock button to unlock it. If I drag the unlock button it will stay on as usual. So is it normal for the phone to switch itself off after 2/3 seconds if the screen is untouched?

The problem is once it gets hanged up, automatically switches off and never starts up again. While it starts up, only the 'NOKIA' boot logo is coming , and the handshake logo is not coming up after it. System version is 64.1.22.A953.Retail.en.GB No problem for the first few days but since then the screen switches off randomly (that new CRT-style shutdown, very cute). I can be viewing Google Maps, or using the camera, or browsing the web...doesn't seem to be a single trigger. The screen turns off and if I switch it back on quickly it will switch off again; if I wait a few seconds and switch on then it stops freaking out and the screen stays on.I've been using Cloudskipper and WinAmp with the lockscreen features enabled (since the stock music player on Milestone2 doesn't show up on the lockscreen). Could these be the culprits - is there something unstable in 2.3's lock-screen?Screen timeout and security timeout are set to 60 minutes.
