I am facing an issue with my Xperia X8 phone. Every time I connect to internet through my service provider the phone gets switched off automatically and switches ON automatically. I face this problem only when I connect to internet. I checked with the service centre, they flashed software once and the next time they replaced the mother board. But problem still exists.

If I am lucky enough, it acts fine for a day. Then glitching again. What can I do about this? I had upgraded to lollipop.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy nokia x7 smartphone ( if its smart enough - i guess) switches off automaticall after every action. you call some one , access internet, download a file, recieve a call, listen to music...it has to switch off. have noticed this defect after i upgraded to a software available on the Nokia Site. Much to my amusement i was informed that i should not have updated the software of my phone via the web. Then WHY do you have it there????? Also now the software update section for the x7 handset has been taken off the website. they say that end of december Belle will be available with x7. it seems there are pretty serious problems with Anna. hope Nokia does something big time about this as a new phone just launched a couple of months in the market is playing up seriously with other couple of problems (dust under the screen restarting to name few! what a comeback Nokia with the launch of their so called Gamin Device.

I bought my iphone 4s in dubai, one n a half mnth bk... In a week's time, i noticed that my phone turns off automatically.... Only when i press the home key and wake/sleep buttom together it switches on.And now atleast once a day it has started to happen.. we do not have an authorized apple service centre or dealer in dubai.

I bought my nokia 5233 sometime in january it worked fine until april or so, it would switch off automatically.At first I disregarded it thinking that i would have pressed the power button by mistake.Since two days this phenomenon is happening atleast about 7-8 times.I wouldn't like to take my phone to the Nokia care yet coz here in my country the Nokia care guys try to fleece you saying something has gone wrong which is not covered by warranty.Would any of you guys help me in diagnosing the problem so that I can fix it myself before I take it to nokia care?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Z2 and recently when at home I am unable to get anything on the Internet while I am connected to my router. If I turn wifi off from the quick settings it is fine.
As far as I am aware I haven't changed anything and it used to be fine. It's a phone or a router issue. I think it could be phone cause the PS4, laptop and my partners phone are still fine.
Every time I unlock my Z2 and not connected to the internet, there will be this ‘Not connected to Internet’ notification appearing in the middle of my screen. And when I enable mobile data, this ‘Mobile data enabled’ notification appears. This notification appears on top of anything and it is blocking my view especially when I want to use the keyboard to type. Part of the keyboard is blocked by this notification. Even though the notification only last for about a second, it is still irritating. This notification only starts appearing 3 days ago, previously there isnt' this notification.
I would like to know how to disable this notification.
My xperia x10 phone had been working just fine when i connect wireless connections at the airport, libraries n elsewhere. But now I'm having some weird problem where my phone is connected to the wireless but it just won't let me surf the internet or just simpy open my twitter.
I've checked:
1. Amount of bar for the connection: just doing fine, at least it says good connection.
2. My mobile networks: in network mode>> WCDMA only, which I have several time open my internet browser without any fail until now.

I can not get my galaxy s5 to automatically connect to 4G after being connected to wifi, the smart network switch is activated however it doesn't make any difference. the only way for me to reconnect to my network is to restart the device.

When I bring the phone out of sleep by pressing the back button it will stay on for about 3 seconds then switch off. This without dragging the unlock button to unlock it. If I drag the unlock button it will stay on as usual. So is it normal for the phone to switch itself off after 2/3 seconds if the screen is untouched?
