When ever i switches off my iphone at night, morning its switched on. no alarms are been set. today also i switched off and after a couple of hours its again switched on. why is this?
I bought my iphone 4s in dubai, one n a half mnth bk... In a week's time, i noticed that my phone turns off automatically.... Only when i press the home key and wake/sleep buttom together it switches on.And now atleast once a day it has started to happen.. we do not have an authorized apple service centre or dealer in dubai.
my nokia x7 smartphone ( if its smart enough - i guess) switches off automaticall after every action. you call some one , access internet, download a file, recieve a call, listen to music...it has to switch off. have noticed this defect after i upgraded to a software available on the Nokia Site. Much to my amusement i was informed that i should not have updated the software of my phone via the web. Then WHY do you have it there????? Also now the software update section for the x7 handset has been taken off the website. they say that end of december Belle will be available with x7. it seems there are pretty serious problems with Anna. hope Nokia does something big time about this as a new phone just launched a couple of months in the market is playing up seriously with other couple of problems (dust under the screen restarting to name few! what a comeback Nokia with the launch of their so called Gamin Device.
At night I make sure switch off my phone before sleeping and check it's off, but the next day when I wake up I notice my phone is back on, is this natural? Is there a function which switches my phone back to on?
I am facing an issue with my Xperia X8 phone. Every time I connect to internet through my service provider the phone gets switched off automatically and switches ON automatically. I face this problem only when I connect to internet. I checked with the service centre, they flashed software once and the next time they replaced the mother board. But problem still exists.
I am experiencing a glitch with my bluetooth. It switches on automatically. After turning it off, sometimes it turns on again after a few seconds to minutes. If I am lucky enough, it acts fine for a day. Then glitching again. What can I do about this? I had upgraded to lollipop.
I bought my nokia 5233 sometime in january it worked fine until april or so, it would switch off automatically. At first I disregarded it thinking that i would have pressed the power button by mistake.Since two days this phenomenon is happening atleast about 7-8 times.I wouldn't like to take my phone to the Nokia care yet coz here in my country the Nokia care guys try to fleece you saying something has gone wrong which is not covered by warranty.Would any of you guys help me in diagnosing the problem so that I can fix it myself before I take it to nokia care?
My iPhone 4 switches itself off. I have pressed the on/off & home buttons together (this worked previously to re-start after many attempts) but not this time. What's next?
Since January I have had srious problems with my Iphone 3GS. Without any warning the screen goes blank, but when I look closely there is a broad darker band running down the whole length of the screen. I am only able to take a maximum of 2-3 photos and if I try to connect to the web 3 minutes usage time is the maximum. I then connect the phone (if I am able) to a power supply and after the apple logo appears, it is followed by a battery symbol showing almost zero power. This is shortly followed by the audible sound that the phone makes as it picks up the power and the battery symnbol immediately reverts back to the status it was before the 'shutdown', this morning it was 83%. Also when i switch on the phone, the battery symbolin the top right hand corner is not green, it is white. I have taken the phone back to a brand-new phone & shut down location services, push notifications, backlight etc...but this awful situation continues!!
As my phone is not on contract and is nearly 2 and a half years old I feel that Apple have me by the proverbial 'short and curlies'. My iPhone is used on a daily basis and I must admit that I am lost without the reliabilty of it's functions. I also feel that for the cost of the phone, the battery should surely have a longer life!
I would be willing to have the battery renewed if I thought that it was failing, but is it, or habe Apple dropped a clanger and it is a software fault that they are unwillinmg to disclose, due to the backlash from it's customer base and the possible loss of future sales. As I was in the market for a desktop this summer, that is a substansial lossin sales from this one customer alone!
My iPhone 5 switches itself off randomly at anything up to 43%. It wont restart until I connect to a charger. once connected and switched on, it shows the battery is still 43%.
my 4s switches on 3g when i have switched 3g off manually this started to happen after my latest update, have restored the 4s twice and it keeps doing it only after i switch phone off then back on again.!

I will be using my iphone and the back light will randomly shut off and I have to look at my phone from a few angles to see the screen. Then to get it to turn back on I have to keep pressing the sleep/wake button!
It is not the lead, as my sister's iPhone is responding when plugged in using the same lead. If I switch the phone off and plug it in, the apple logo appears and the phone switches itself on. However, it does not charge and does not show in My COmputer or iTunes..???
I have a problem that apperared after a month of usage of my X6. The phone would switch OFF when I carry it in my pocket or even when I leave it on my desk. Not sure what to do.Have restarted the phone and recharged the battery to the full as it is recommended,
my CURVE 8520 switches itself off, without warning, even in conversation. I have already replaced the SIM card but the problem persists. My phone is still under warranty (purchased in March 2010), what should I do?
in the pastr couple of days my battery just switches off, no warning, no battery drained or anything and when i put the charger on, the battery life is almost half full, i've even resorted to getting a car charger now just to be safe
i'v been having problems since i've bought the phone, i'm truly dissapointed in this phone. now it switches off on its own and also freezes all the time. got 2.1!!
I'm fairly new to the S2 but have pretty much got things running as i want, but for some reason lately, the phone has taken to switching itself off randomly.
I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.
Info: Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10), D700, 16GB, 12 Core
For no apparent reason ie not connected with anything I've done to the phone, the camera has started turning on & off almost randomly, regardless of whther the slide cover or the lock key are engaged. Sometimes the cycle is a few seconds, sometimes several minutes. The firmware is up to date, and there are no other obvious problems. Help, please!
I have had my lumia 800 phone for a couple months now and it has twice died in the middle of the night for no obvious reason. The battery hasn't been dead - this morning when I finally got it to turn on again afrer several tries of pusging the power button, it had 22% of battery left. First time it was something similar, if not more. Really annoying, since the phone is also my alarm clock!
I use Nokia N72-5 hanset but now it is problem to me to operate with it. It became switched off after turning on. I removed memory card , and turn on but it switched off after 15-16 minutes. i reset its firmware bu dialing *#7370# but it didn't help. It became switched off after 15-16 minutes even withouting pressing any key on keypad.
My 9700 turns itself off randomly even after a full charge to the point that its off almost all the time these days. I have to turn it back on by pressing the power button at which point it reboots from scratch taking upto 2 mins for the phone to come to life. I have reinstalled the OS (6) and also had the phone "reflashed" by the service provider all to no avail. I deleted all my apps but it hasnt cured the problem. The battery was replaced about 4 months ago so i dont suspect the battery (but i could be wrong as it was a generic blackberry battery). Do you have any suggestions on how to fix the issue? I dont want to have to bin my blackberry but its quite worthless as a phone right now as i cant depend on it.
