Nokia Nseries :: N 72 Switches Off After 15 Minutes?
Sep 20, 2011I use Nokia N72-5 hanset but now it is problem to me to operate with it. It became switched off after turning on. I removed memory card , and turn on but it switched off after 15-16 minutes. i reset its firmware bu dialing *#7370# but it didn't help. It became switched off after 15-16 minutes even withouting pressing any key on keypad.

Jun 8, 2010For no apparent reason ie not connected with anything I've done to the phone, the camera has started turning on & off almost randomly, regardless of whther the slide cover or the lock key are engaged. Sometimes the cycle is a few seconds, sometimes several minutes. The firmware is up to date, and there are no other obvious problems. Help, please!

The battery hasn't been dead - this morning when I finally got it to turn on again afrer several tries of pusging the power button, it had 22% of battery left. First time it was something similar, if not more. Really annoying, since the phone is also my alarm clock!

Jun 9, 2010I recently bought an n86 and I am having persistent connectivity/wifi problems. Currently my biggest problem seems to be that while I can connect to the correct wireless router and bring up a first link on the web browser - whenever I try and link to another page the phone instantly tries to connnect through my phone provider (AT&T) and gives no other options.It is really strange.
Another strange thing is that I have set Internet connectivity priorities with my phone provider being last in the list however I am unable to use the 'change priorities' menu - instead I have to move the access point to one of the other destinations (like WAP Services), then, go to WAP Services and move it back to Internet so that it appears last in the list.Has anyone had similiar experiences?
Nokia :: 5530 Switches Off During Calls / Tried Reset
Jun 18, 2010Detailed log of re-occurin issue:I purchased the nokia 5530 in december 2009.In late march 2010, I added a screen protector to the phone.I also upgraded to the 2.0 firmware.Then in April 2010, phone started to switch of when making a call or answering a receiving call.After googling like crazy, removed the screen protector, reset the phone using the codes from this site. Phone worked for 2 weeks no problems.After the 2 weeks it happened again, I repeated the process and it stopped switching off. The screen protector was never replaced thinking it might be blocking the proximity sensor.In late may I updated to new firmware 3.0. Phone was functioning normal at this time.Now it's june and problem started re occuring since the 10th of june.I am unable to answer or make calls with this phone despite my many attempts using reset and factory reset , removing memory card and switching sim with a new sim card etc.So far, the only way it works is with the headset plugged in, but this is a temporary fix. Once the headset is removed during the call it switches off.Also it also crashes when making skype calls which i also installed in may. I used skype for most of may and june, with no problems.My sister also purchased the same phone at the same time, from the same vendor. She never updated the firmware and also has a screen protector installed. Her phone has no problems whats so ever.

Even though I have successfully removed it (I don't have a fixed data plan), while writing SMS's the "To" field switches to "abc" mode, as opposed by the normal "123" mode. And no matter how much I press the arrow button to change it, the moment I close messages and open it again, it reverts back to "abc" mode.

May 4, 2012Bought a Nokia Asha 200 20 days back (Graphite color).
1) Echo Problem while speaking over phone, both in Sim1 and Sim2
2) White screen and Phone hanging up
The problem is once it gets hanged up, automatically switches off and never starts up again. While it starts up, only the 'NOKIA' boot logo is coming , and the handshake logo is not coming up after it. Took it to a Nokia Care center, near my house but yet after reflashing the OS with V11.56 the same problem started occurring just after a day!

Nov 22, 2011my nokia x7 smartphone ( if its smart enough - i guess) switches off automaticall after every action. you call some one , access internet, download a file, recieve a call, listen to music...it has to switch off. have noticed this defect after i upgraded to a software available on the Nokia Site. Much to my amusement i was informed that i should not have updated the software of my phone via the web. Then WHY do you have it there????? Also now the software update section for the x7 handset has been taken off the website. they say that end of december Belle will be available with x7. it seems there are pretty serious problems with Anna. hope Nokia does something big time about this as a new phone just launched a couple of months in the market is playing up seriously with other couple of problems (dust under the screen restarting to name few! what a comeback Nokia with the launch of their so called Gamin Device.

IPhone :: 3GS Switches Off After About 3 Minutes Use
May 7, 2012Since January I have had srious problems with my Iphone 3GS. Without any warning the screen goes blank, but when I look closely there is a broad darker band running down the whole length of the screen. I am only able to take a maximum of 2-3 photos and if I try to connect to the web 3 minutes usage time is the maximum. I then connect the phone (if I am able) to a power supply and after the apple logo appears, it is followed by a battery symbol showing almost zero power. This is shortly followed by the audible sound that the phone makes as it picks up the power and the battery symnbol immediately reverts back to the status it was before the 'shutdown', this morning it was 83%. Also when i switch on the phone, the battery symbolin the top right hand corner is not green, it is white. I have taken the phone back to a brand-new phone & shut down location services, push notifications, backlight etc...but this awful situation continues!!
As my phone is not on contract and is nearly 2 and a half years old I feel that Apple have me by the proverbial 'short and curlies'. My iPhone is used on a daily basis and I must admit that I am lost without the reliabilty of it's functions. I also feel that for the cost of the phone, the battery should surely have a longer life!
I would be willing to have the battery renewed if I thought that it was failing, but is it, or habe Apple dropped a clanger and it is a software fault that they are unwillinmg to disclose, due to the backlash from it's customer base and the possible loss of future sales. As I was in the market for a desktop this summer, that is a substansial lossin sales from this one customer alone!

May 15, 2012I bought my iphone 4s in dubai, one n a half mnth bk... In a week's time, i noticed that my phone turns off automatically.... Only when i press the home key and wake/sleep buttom together it switches on.And now atleast once a day it has started to happen.. we do not have an authorized apple service centre or dealer in dubai.
