If a call comes when listening to music over earphone, the ring is not audible over the ear phones, the music just stops, while the phone rings from the external speaker. The sound just comes to the earphone when the call is received. Also, the calls cannot be received by pressing the hardware key on the ear phone receiver.
View 4 RepliesI upgraded from a Sony XP to a z5 compact white, yesterday, however when i make or recieve phone calls, the phone effectively freezes.screen goes black, even when calls finished!!!
This is especially annoying as the same problem blighted my XP and is one of the main reasons i chose to upgrade as was struggling with ram issues anyway.
Brand new phone, and having the exact same issues.

The receivers always hear an echo from my phone, and the sound quality is bad. I tried to change all the sound settings available, nothing works.

Just updated to iOS 5.1, and literally moments after install, first phone call came in, and I answered, the person sounded like she was speaking through an old trucker's CB on his way through Nebraska (no offense). Three days later after resetting, etc., still same issue.
Questions:
1. Is it hardware or software related, and is it just a coincidence that the receiver failed after updating?
2. Is it possible to reinstall an older iOS (like 5.0.1), and if so, how?
This just started happening on Saturday night. I would press the red phone button to turn off my phone and within 15-25 seconds my phone reboots itself. I have the Bold 9650 OS 5.0.0.699. Also on Sunday afternoon I dialed *228 (Verizon) to update my roaming capabilities.it was successful and after about 30 seconds by phone rebooted itself. Yes, I have done a battery pull.

Will let me then do about 2 texts, then it goes back to sending error. Every time I try to make a call it doesn't even ring, just goes to call fail.

when my phone rings and i dont answer it, it will show 1 missed call. when i click view, it does not show the missed call. When i call someone and then i hang up and view the placed calls screen, it does not show that either as well as the received calls that i do answer. has anyone experienced this with the Nokia 6650 flip phone? please leave comments if you know how to solve my problem.

Text messages are only being received when i switch the phone off then on again they come through. I have E72-1 with 023.002 FW and whenever in stand by mode I press a number key several times quickly, the phone locks for a couple of seconds before displaying the numbers. If I press different numbers in sequence it's fine but whenever I press the same number quickly several times it happens. For example try to press the number 0 five times or more very fast and tell me if it displays them as you are pressing. I formatted the phone but it didn't cure the problem.

With the addition of the Nokia camera software and it being the default, I have to unlock my phone before it goes into the camera. If I switch the button to the standard WP camera app, I can take photos while unlocked.

When I swipe passcode dots screen is only black. When I connect to PC with USB Phone is detected but I cannot access phone or SD Card. View 3 Replies View RelatedOn the instruction, it clearly says I could hide the onscreen keypad by pressing the "back" key, this also works on my friend's phone. This doesn't work on mine, whether messaging or composing an email, when I press the "back" key it takes me back previous screen. It is really annoying as the screen is small and when you are typing a long-ish text you having to look at it through 1/3 of the screen! I reset the phone twice now and also downloaded the sony ericsson update launcher and have the latest software on the phone now, but this keypad problem still remain.

I change the ESN on my rogue sch-u960 but when i press the music icon the phone freezes, if i change the esn back to the original the phone works normally.the only thime it freezes is when i prerss that particular icon but everything else works fine.

I have to press and hold power/lock button for a few seconds to manualy restart it. I know that N5 has notorious problems with power/lock button but as far as I know its problem with phone not going to sleep. I don't have problem with that.
I noticed this after an update to M. I am on XtraSmooth 29.10 build with RacerKernel 28.10. DT2W dissabled. Also i have the usual problem of turning screen on after calls. For me the phone sometimes doesn't turn on until the other person ends the call. Do I need to replace the power/lock button?
