sometime my s6 phone screen goes off and blue light blinks slowly, and screen never gets on by pressing any button. unless wait for battery is fully drain and you put it back on charging then it will get on. for that you have to wait whole day to get battery drain

A few days ago my phone just suddenly started pressing buttons on its own and ignoring my button presses. Turning off the screen and turning it back on again fixes it temporarily, but within just a few seconds it will often continue again.
Is this a virus? Or is my phone broken? Nothing happened to cause it to break.
I have a 6 month old Galaxy S5 on Verizon, and in the past month I've had a problem where I will press the home button to turn the screen on and there will be a delay of up to 4 seconds before the screen lights up and I can unlock. Oftentimes, the delay is so long that the phone turns the screen back off from inactivity a split second after it finally comes on.
If I am actively using the phone, and then turn the screen off and right back on, there is no delay. It's only after turning back on after several minutes of inactivity (which is most of the time). It's almost as if the phone has put itself to sleep and is taking a long time to wake.I am on Android 4.4.4. If it matters, I also get the camera-daemon battery suck issue from time to time.
I've had issues with my N97 since i bought it direct from Nokia on the day of release. Always put it down to software, but the last few months it got to the point where I couldn't even accept a call by pressing the screen/buttons. The screen also had a dark streak down the left side. So, I took it to the Carphonewarehouse, obviously under warrenty and was sent to Nokia for repair.
the silver trim has been half scraped off on the buttons and keyboard trim AND the screen has a 1cm bright spot in the middle of it. I am FURIOUS...............1/ because it took 23 to fix when all they did is replace it. 2/ because they've sent me a second hand phone 3/ that the 'new' phone is worse condition than the one I sent in!! They didn't even bother to put the latest firmware on it!!
CPW didn't offer me the returns receipt either, i had to ask for it, but that's a CPW issue. Actual fault found (as recorded by engineer): Faulty applications on the handset when purchased. As i've always updated the firmware I can only conclude this faulty software cannot be fixed by the firmware update, and the handset must be replaced as mine was. Other phones must be suffering the same problem.......

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post to this forum and i am really hoping for some help. I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Phone. It is about 7 months old and has developed a really annoying and frustrating fault over the past few days - progressively no getting worse by the hour it would seem. The phone freezes after receiving a text, phone call, internet usage or just generally pressing one of the function buttons. Some times if you wait long enough it does free itself but more often than not it will end up me removing the battery to reset the handset. Nothing appears to work properly on it anymore - the battery appears to drain within hours of charge. Really fed up with it now. Carphone Warehouse and Orange are blamming each other ( no change there). Yes i can take it to a repair centre who will either do it on site ro send away. I have completed a soft reset but has made no difference. I am now tempted to do a complete hard reset once backing up my contents etc

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my S5 for about a month or two now and have been having a problem with the screen waking in my pocket. I'm guessing the home or power button is being pressed which is fine but I need the screen to turn back off in a reasonable amount of time. There is a setting called "Screen timeout" but no "Lock screen timeout" like I used to have on my S3. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like both the screen timeout and the lock screen timeout are both controlled by this one setting. Just about every 20 minutes I feel my pocket getting hot and sure enough, the screen has been on for who knows how long.

For example, just today I tried typing a message to my mom and out of nowhere the x, s and z buttons just keep pressing. The phone will allow me to delete the letters sometimes and other times it will just freeze. It is very annoying.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an old Curve 8520 which I only just recently updated to OS 5. Like the title says, my device "locks up" after a while of not pressing any buttons, even when I'm using the scroll pad. The thing is, I would still be able to scroll around the screen with the scroll pad but will not be able to select anything or type any letters. The phone doesn't totally freeze though as I can "unlock" it by pressing and holding the power button for about a second in which case it goes to the home screen and interrupts whatever I was doing.
I dust discovered pressing and holding ANY button "unlocks" the phone.
First I Thought its normal because i had this thing since day one ... and then i was browsing the forums yesterday and saw someone had the same problem and after replacing the problem wasn't there anymore... so i'm worried now... Lemme know if its the problem i can talk to rogers and get my phone replaced... if its normal i guess i can live with it....

When ever i pressed the Green / red or BB Button or Back Button the crystals on LCD Moves... the same way when someone put pressure on the Screen....
I have a problem while watching videos on YouTube or so.. When I use the up and down volume buttons, the video pauses for no reason and I find it so annoying.

When I go into the volume settings I turn it all the way up and I still don't hear anything except the ringtones. Only ringtones. I can't play my games or watch videos like this. View 6 Replies View RelatedAttached image shows that when I make a call or receive it, my screen does not show dialer buttons, mute button, or the additional caller/conference button. I have looked at all different settings that I could think of but can't seem to fix this. I have tried this using headset as well as speaker phone.
I was able to bring up dialer button (only) if I go to home screen during the call and open up phone again. This time I can use the dialer buttons but still no mute or conf buttons.
Ok the soft keys down by the home button on the bottom....mine do not light anymore. I have them set to the 1.5 second time out. Even when I put them on "always on"they don't light up.

If I try to use the lock button when this is happening the phone will freeze.
I have also updated to the latest version to try and stop this but it didnt help.
