i've tried different settings on the screensize, audio quality and managed to get some bad quality audio to play but thats about as far as i get.theres alot of settings to change on both videocodecs and audiocodecs.trial and error method would just take to long.so what settings exactly should i use to get a converted file to behave on the x10 mini pro?

i want to convert my psx game for my xplay, but it failed. i have read all the instruction that i can read in the internet, i have updated my java runtime, copy apk, and zapk from my xplay but when i try to extract it, come a message that say : this apk is not a valid one. the extractor will continue, but you may get errors later,CRC32:1992425944, and when i click ok there is another message that say : cannot extract apk! java says invalid entry CRC ( expected 0xe88805d1 but got 0xf14e0736)would you please tells my what have i done wrong ? just info , i'm using windows 7 ultimate,and yifanlu 1.0, my xplay is in 2.3.4.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my Xperia Pro to ICS I have learned that My Tracks I have used a lot for route tracking does not operate in usable manner any more. It takes 15-17 minutes to really start recording a route after starting it. Under GB it took like 5 seconds (well, less than half a minute anyway). When ICS finally starts recording route, it has a lot of gaps, i.e. it misses major part of recorded route. GB did leave gaps to routes, too, but only after being up for a couple weeks. Under GB this could be fixed by rebooting the phone.
I turned from on Settings > Developer options > Show CPU usage for some time. Load averages shown never went below 8.Other things I have noticed: K-9 message scrolling is sluggish under ICS. It was smooth under GB.Same applies to Contacts scrolling. Video recording has lost stereo sound.how to make My Tracks working again under ICS? Or should I revert back to GB?
I have just bought the X10 mini and tried to copy everything from my W995 phone/card to my SD card. However now I can only play mp3 tracks, not wma,is there anything I can do about this? And also my pics were nicely arranged in individual folders on the W995, now they're everywhere.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to copy my contacts from my old Sony Ericsson W595 to my new Sony Ericsson X10 mini phone.I downloaded a bluetooth file transfer app from the Android Market (As I know the Sony Ericsson s/w doesn't yet support bluetooth file transfer) and this works well and lets me 'pull' photos from my old phone without any problem.
However I am running into problems trying to copy my address book backup from the memory card on my W595.. I can browse to it in the system/pim folder however when I select to transfer it to my phone I get an error saying 'unrecgonised mime type' and I get asked which application to open the file with. I've tried a few options but I can't seem to find anything that knows what to do with the .vcf file.
Is there an easy way to add .vcf as a mime type? Or is there a better way to transfer my contacts to my x10? Even though I have installed the bluetooth file transfer app, my old phone still can't detect my x10 when searching for bluetooth devices..

But as I've seen in many other phones, what gives with no .flac support? .flac is rapidly growing into the next format of choice; it would explode if someone would support it. I've archived my entire music collection in this format. I would hope the inclusion of this codec wouldn't be of much trouble. I would love to see it in a near-future update. When I paste the Flac files into the phone, it prompts for file format not supported, then I click 'No, just Copy' and for all files. View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought an M9 and have been loving most of the features. I've used a WindowsPhone for the past ~3 years and wanted something different. For years now, I've been a part of a group text with a few friends. There were no issues with it on my old phone, but I'm running into some issues with the M9.
For example: When I open the group text, there's a bubble that says "Converting to MMS message" every time. This happens even if I just backed out of the message and re-entered it.
Every time I send a message, a loading icon pops up in the middle of the screen. After the loading icon goes away, the message that I sent has another icon inside of it that stays there for a few seconds. Eventually, that icon goes away too. Some of the messages that are sent to me by my friends come through as individual texts with a download link. If I follow the download link, it appears in the group text.
Scrolling through the group message is extremely choppy. Everything else on this phone has been smooth, this is the only thing I've noticed that doesn't load well
I cant remember the manual setup menu code (like ## something something, send) for Samsung first of all, so if someone could help me out with that I know I can do the rest myself.. But it was a phone once used for US cell and I want to use it on my Alltel plan. When I put the ESN on the verison website it keeps saying cannot activate the phone, but I am assuming its cuz I totally need to enter the manual setup first. Anyone know what that is? I've been searching on the forum for a while and cant seem to find it. After reading more I think I need to flash the phone to Alltel. I've used Bitpim before to edit things on phones before, is this what I am going to have to do? something with Bitpim?

I just upgraded to a 4S iphone and am giving my 3GS to my son to use as an iPod. I've created an email for him so he can iMessage but it won't receive/send through his email. I've changed every setting I can find. I think its trying to use the phone number even though its no longer has phone service which is why its giving the "Message Send Failure"
I already had iMessage turned on from when I was using the phone as a phone... I created the email and verified it through Apple as an email I want associated with my Apple ID. I went into Settings>Messages>Receive At and added his email address but it won't let me delete my phone number (which is now tied to another iPhone device). I also turned off Send as SMS.I also went to Settings>Messages>Receive At> Caller ID and changed the check mark to be next to his email instead of my number.
I went in the Settings>General>Network and turned off 3G and Cellular Data settings (which I don't think were affecting this, but should be off anyway if he's using it as an iPod.)
I tried going to Settings>Phone and deleting my number out but it won't let the blank remain empty. I tried changing the number to 0 (zero) and then when I opened messages again it immediate popped up a message saying "MMS Messaging Requires Your Phone Number Press Settings to go to your Phone Settings and enter your phone number"
The only thing I haven't done is add this email to the Mail settings, because I really don't want him receiving or sending emails, I only want him to be able to text his grandma, cousins, his dad and me. But I'm wondering if the fact that I haven't actually entered his email account password anywhere (like in a pop server?) is why it isn't working.

The Samsung message app converts long messages to MMS which ends ends up costing me. Can this be switched off? The Hangouts messaging app doesn't do this but I prefer the look of the Samsung app (personal preference).
