I have just bought the X10 mini and tried to copy everything from my W995 phone/card to my SD card. However now I can only play mp3 tracks, not wma,is there anything I can do about this? And also my pics were nicely arranged in individual folders on the W995, now they're everywhere.
View 3 RepliesI've been trying to maximize use of my Xperia Neo as a music player, and I have successfully migrated my music from Itunes to media go. The problem is that most of my albums are mixed CDs, and they skip between tracks when I play them on the NEO.It's driving me crazy! Is there any solution to this aside from downloading a different music app, or just sticking it out with my ipod?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI successfully upgraded to Android 2.1 on my Xperia x10 Mini Pro. After the upgrade everything works beautifully except 2 things.
1> I am unable to play any online videos. When I try loading the video it does not load the control for it and shows a small square block like a Lego brick. Looks like the browser is missing some add-on like Flash or something. Have tried installing Flash for the browser but it said Flash is already installed.. Have tried downloading a different browser, like Opera but that does not help either.
2> This is not very important, but for some reason the alarm does not work any more. I can set the alarm on the phone. It shows that the alarm is set for a particular time but when the time comes it does not ring. Have tried using different applications for this but those don't work either.
How can I can combine two tracks so that they always play together even when I shuffle the tracks? An example is Jackson Browne's "Loadout" and "Stay".

When I am trying to play any mp4 videos in a default player, appears a error "Can not play video." I tried to intall other players from market, but nothing, same problem. Also, its not a problem with video files, because I asked my friend to try playing the same mp4 videos which my X10 Mini can't play and he had no problems with them... All videos played correctly in a default player.
Also I tried to reinstall OS, but problem still exists.

I converted a few .avi but simply can;t recognoise these mp4 movies in flash card.
I am a relatively new user to this phone, and so I have been trying to get my music files (mp3 format) onto my phone.I have bought a new 32GB sd card to load them on, and some files will play, but most state they can't play.I have tried a transfer using file copying, and also used MediaGo, but I still get similar results.The mp3 files play correctly on my computer (Windows Media Player) and on my iPOD, so I think the files should be ok.Are there specific sampling bit rates needed for the Xperia?Further to this thread, I have now ripped some original cd's in various formats and bit rates (Mp3 to WAV), and it makes little difference to their ability to play. Some do, but mostly they don't. I can't find any common factor.
Finally getting somewhere .... I think there is a problem with the new 32Gb MicroSD. Its rated class 10, so its maybe faulty or too fast???I replaced the sd with the one that came with the phone, which is 2Gb (no class stated), and everything plays fine with this.

I read the discription, went to tegrazone games on my computer and was blown away with the graphicsof such games as dark meadows. So I bought the paid version of Chainfire 3D, installed the drivers and plugins, I've followed all instructions and I still cannot get games like dark meadows to first download to my xperia play. I've use the plugins and opened terazone games then tried to get, say, dark meadow or Zen pinball and all it says my phone is not compatible. Now I thought that is where chainfire was suppose to come in. to make it compatible.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my Xperia Pro to ICS I have learned that My Tracks I have used a lot for route tracking does not operate in usable manner any more. It takes 15-17 minutes to really start recording a route after starting it. Under GB it took like 5 seconds (well, less than half a minute anyway). When ICS finally starts recording route, it has a lot of gaps, i.e. it misses major part of recorded route. GB did leave gaps to routes, too, but only after being up for a couple weeks. Under GB this could be fixed by rebooting the phone.
I turned from on Settings > Developer options > Show CPU usage for some time. Load averages shown never went below 8.Other things I have noticed: K-9 message scrolling is sluggish under ICS. It was smooth under GB.Same applies to Contacts scrolling. Video recording has lost stereo sound.how to make My Tracks working again under ICS? Or should I revert back to GB?
On my Xperia play, i opened up the description of a few paid apps on the market, and when i tapped the price, it gave an error that the item i was trying to purchase could not be found. I even tried SHADOWGUN and still got the same error, even though, i had tapped the price a few days back and it had asked fr a credit card

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Xperia PLAY and recently the screen went fuzzy and I couldn't see anything so I had it repaired. However when I got it back it will not connect to my network which is Vodafone Ireland. When I try to connect it says "Your SIM Card does not allow a connection to this network". I have changed the mode from WCDMA and GSM and vice versa but still it won't connect. I even got a new sim card to try that. It will work with any of my older phones but not this one. The phone works perfectly at everthing else including internet by Wi-Fi but not as a phone.

I change my phone to 'mediaoverdracht modus' ( it's in dutch, i don't know the english word ). It's the modus that is required for updating your phone, and it's step 3. But it fails every single time. PC Companion keeps saying it is unable to connect to my PLAY. No errorcode or nothing, it just gives the advice to reconnect my phone to the PC.

Do you need to use the Internet to view a video you have recorded yourself if it is in 4K if so how come?
And why is it not using my Internet because I have unlimited data but I am downloading something at the moment does this prevent the video getting the URL if it needs it.
I just got the Xperia Play and I'm try to play the preploaded games like Ashpalt 6 or Crash Bandicoot. I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedHere are options that I have tried:- Ensuring Back cover is on completely- Purchased new Micro SDHC card- Updated Xperia Play to latest software using PC Companion- Removing and re-inserting card whilst on, and whilst off.- Searching for related issues (None found, except back cover issues).
When the phone discovers the card, after attempting a mount it tells me "Blank or unnsupported card".Being un-able to connect my SDHC card prevents me from playing any games installed on the device, using the camera/video, and installing new programs or games.
