I've been trying to maximize use of my Xperia Neo as a music player, and I have successfully migrated my music from Itunes to media go. The problem is that most of my albums are mixed CDs, and they skip between tracks when I play them on the NEO.It's driving me crazy! Is there any solution to this aside from downloading a different music app, or just sticking it out with my ipod?

I've tried using Motocast to play my music but it seems to ignore the track number at the start of a file name and just plays the tracks in alphabetical order not the order they are on the album.
How can I get Motocast to play the tracks on an album in the correct order?
I bought this phone yesterday and everything seemed to be working fine until I tried to type a message. The slideout keyboard punctuation keys are mixed up. I have about 30 of those same albums on my phone's memory card also so that I can have music if I don't have data or want to save bandwidth. The problem is that the albums that are also on my phone show up twice in the the Play Music app on my phone. View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my Xperia Pro to ICS I have learned that My Tracks I have used a lot for route tracking does not operate in usable manner any more. It takes 15-17 minutes to really start recording a route after starting it. Under GB it took like 5 seconds (well, less than half a minute anyway). When ICS finally starts recording route, it has a lot of gaps, i.e. it misses major part of recorded route. GB did leave gaps to routes, too, but only after being up for a couple weeks. Under GB this could be fixed by rebooting the phone.
I turned from on Settings > Developer options > Show CPU usage for some time. Load averages shown never went below 8.Other things I have noticed: K-9 message scrolling is sluggish under ICS. It was smooth under GB.Same applies to Contacts scrolling. Video recording has lost stereo sound.how to make My Tracks working again under ICS? Or should I revert back to GB?
Media go software will convert flac tracks to mp3. which i dont want as i use power amp app to play flac tracks. Is there a way media go can transfer flac tracks without converting it?

This way it was possible to easily navigate through the music, without having to activate the screen and pressing additional keys.This option is not available on my xperia ray and I was wondering whether this functionality could be added, whenever it is available.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make Picasa webalbums appear in Gallery, but unfortunately not all of the albums appear. I have enabled Picasa sync from Settings, however the sync icon never diappears. Even when I disable and re-enable Picasa sync, the icon will rotate for a few seconds and then it will stop. It will not disappear as it would normally do after a full sync (that's what happens when calendar, or contacts finishes syncing)
Now, in Gallery, only few of my Webalbums appear. The funny thing is that as the albums load on to the screen some Album Titles flash on the screen quickly, BUT when the loading completes, these albums are nowhere to be found in Gallery.
Tried to upload pics directly from phone (gallery) to my Picasa albums for the first time today.It takes me to the screen where it asks for Caption. My Google account shows on this page. However no album appears in the drop down list. When I'm done with this screen a message saying: "Failed to retreive account information" is displayed below briefly. The sharing/sync of course does not happen.I was using Picasa to upload my pics with my previous Android, with the same account. Why isn't it working with the Ray?

Since I usually pick an album and want to hear it start to finish, this is really annoying ... is there anything I can do, other than set up a playlist for every multidisc album? Media Go orders the tracks correctly, BTW.

View 4 Replies View RelatedLately (since the last update) I've noticed album art is mixed up. I'll be playing music and look and see album art from a ringtone or something instead of the correct art. This doesn't seem to be a problem on my computer, just the phone. Is there a way to force the phone to correct the art besides removing all my music and putting it back on? That's what I had to do to fix the first album. I forced an update of album art in iTunes but I'm still seeing problems on the phone.

Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.

I am looking to buy an external speaker to connect to my xperia play, preferably a sony branded one, but definately one that is portable enough to fit in my pocket.I thought I had found the one that fit the bill perfectly when I checked the sony site and found the MS 430 which is supposed to be fully compatible with the Xperia Play (it even doubles up as a phone stand, which is pretty neat).Now the problem is my jack is on the horizontal side of my phone (opposite side to the left flipper) and not on the top end as shown in the picture to connect a phone to this speaker.So therefore the speaker is not compatible with this phone, unless of course I have a unique phone with the jack in the wrong place or the phone is connected in the upright position, which wouldnt be very good when watching video playback.

Today my iphone got frozen. I turned it off and then turned it on. Now I found out that my contact address book on the iphone mixed the photos among my contacts. Let say, John now has Peter's photo and Peter as john's photo. This happened with several contact photos, however the contact information like email, phone and address are correct. I checked the icloud.com and my macbook pro, the photos didn't get mixed. So this just happened in my iphone. I have turn on and off the iphone several times but the problem still the same.
