So I've been experimenting with FLAC audio files, to see if I hear a noticeable difference when playing on my G3, now the 3 LG songs that came included on the phone had the HIFI logo, yet when I add FLAC files to the phone they do not have the HIFI logo.
View 4 RepliesI am not able to copy Flac audio files from my PC to the Internal Storage of the HTC One. When I paste the Flac files into the phone, it prompts for file format not supported, then I click 'No, just Copy' and for all files. But then it only copies the first file (If I selected multiple files) and then freezes. When I cancel the process, the first file is copied successfully. I am using WIndows 8 and had same problem on WIndows 7 also.

My Nokia is an X2-00. Can I playback sound files through my HIFI amplifier and speakers (not bluetooth enabled) by feedind the sound into the amplifier via a cable that I would plug to the phone where I normally plug the earphones? Or will that damage the phone?

But as I've seen in many other phones, what gives with no .flac support? .flac is rapidly growing into the next format of choice; it would explode if someone would support it. I've archived my entire music collection in this format. I would hope the inclusion of this codec wouldn't be of much trouble. I would love to see it in a near-future update. Until then, I'll have to convert my .flac's into .mp3 format (ugh). Luckily I created .cue files.

The problem began when I tried to delete them and I found out that the delete option is unavailable due to syncing them onto my phone and what's worse is that the original files are gone. When I want to transfer some files from my phone to my PC I use the USB cable.However the files I see from the PC are old, I even see files that I have deleted from the phone as long as a month ago. Of course I can not transfer these "phantom" files to the PC, but I also don't see the new files and folders that I have created recently and am looking for. Refreshing the window doesn't work.

Didnt attempt to OTA (?) it just started with this out of nowhere.

By "working on and off" i mean the phone was working perfectly fine up until like a month ago when it started occasionally falling into a reboot loop. I would resolved that by factory reseting, it will work for a few days then go into the restarting again. now, after falling into yet another restart situation, and factory reseting (like the 5th time), the phone is just stuck on the HTC logo. I am able to access ClockworkMod Recovery but nothing I do inside here works... Ive factory reset and emptied every emptyable cahe I see.

My jailbroken iPhone 3GS running on 3.1 was not responding to anything so I did the home button + power button reset, and it seems to be in this loop of turning on, staying on for about 40 seconds, then just shuts off. My computer won't detect it, I have tried SSH'ing so I can back up my stuff that way, because I haven't backed up since last October, which is not a good thing at all. I have heard of iRecovery but I'm not sure if it will put my phone in restore mode or not, I DO NOT want to restore my phone. Unless I really have to, but hopefully someone can elaborate for me exactly what iRecovery does, or if theres something else I can do.

The phone is not rooted and it's also S-On so I'm not sure if there's a way of flashing the stock android from Verizon back onto it especially without the ability to plug it into a computer ( doesn't do much good without USB Debugging I believe)...

After jailbraking the phone, I noticed a couple of things.1st: when the iPhone reboots I noticed a little thin LCD light showing through. 2nd: I noticed after jailbraking, I could not sign on to Facebook using app sign on. 3rd: when restoring to factory setting prior to visiting genius bar, my phone got stuck and froze up on apple logo indefinitely.Lucky for me, the tec at apple was cool and exchange it for a brand new one. Warranty is void on any jailbroken iPhones. After all that trouble, I dont think I'll jailbrake this one it's not worth it.

Everytime I would try and sync my music it would disappear from the itues menu but still say 'syncing'. Then I tried to restore it after this failed (by getting an error message) I tried to re-jailbreak it and now it will not leave the Apple logo. View 5 Replies View RelatedIts Iphone 3GS 3.1.2 Jailbroken and unlocked with blackRa1n. I'm on the AT&T network.. ok heres the issue. The phone was running real slow I decided to restart it and now it wont boot past the apple logo.. eventually a small wheel comes up and spins for a while before rebooting again. I've had the phone lock up on me in the past and would take forever to reboot but now this time its stuck at that stage.I've tried everything possible and I still cant get it to boot all the way through. *I can get it to go into DFU mode and Recovery mode when the phone shows the USB cable on the screen and says connect to Itunes.
*When I try to restore in Itunes it says something in the line of "the software installed cannot communicate with the Iphone please reinstall Itunes." *I removed everything Apple related and reinstalled Itunes but no luck. *
I used Blackra1n again but it gets stuck on Geohots face and doesn't move. *Tried redsnow but wont boot past when it says its installing the ram update on the screen. *I've read that people have had similar problems due to something I must have installed via cydia that is locking up and not functioning during bootup. *I've tried Irecovery to try to access the phone via command propmt but it wont detect the phone. *The only option left besides restoring the phone through Itunes and installing 3.1.3 which would remove my jailbreak for the time being... is there a way to upgrade or restore your firmware without using Itunes? Is there a way I can access the phone and manually delete cydia or any app that might be causing the hangup?
I had a fully functional Blackrained 3GS with the old bootrom (before the 40th week). What happened was After i installed some cydia Winterboard tweak, the phone got a little sluggish, so i restarted it, now its stuck at the apple logo screen !! I tried to DFU/Restore to 3.1.2 using official 3.1.2 firmware but apparently Apple doesnt sign 3.1.2 anymore, it gave that build error message u all must be familiar with ! I also tried to create a custom firmware through Pwnagetool on my mac and tried to restore through itunes (9.1.1), it gives error 1600. I am at a loss in this situation please help me !! Currently Im downloading an old version of itunes on my windows to try do the custom restore.

my iphone was working just fine. it is jailbroken on 3.1.2 with blackra1n.sent a text, put the phone back in my pocket. when i took it back out it was stuck in the boot screen with the status icon stuck half full.whenever i turn off and then back on it does the same thing.itunes wont recognize the device.
