My Nokia is an X2-00. Can I playback sound files through my HIFI amplifier and speakers (not bluetooth enabled) by feedind the sound into the amplifier via a cable that I would plug to the phone where I normally plug the earphones? Or will that damage the phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I've been experimenting with FLAC audio files, to see if I hear a noticeable difference when playing on my G3, now the 3 LG songs that came included on the phone had the HIFI logo, yet when I add FLAC files to the phone they do not have the HIFI logo.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my iPhone 5 for a year and a half. Everything has been great until yesterday afternoon. I can no longer hear calls through the ear piece. The other end of the call can hear me, but all I get is silence. I can only make actual calls using the speaker. I've read all the threads and tried everything, to no avail. My carrier (Verizon) said it would cost $400 to replace the phone, which is utter BS. Â
So here are my questions - 1) Has Apple come up with a solution to this problem, since it's obviously one on their end? 2) If I send this to Apple to get repaired (since I'm nowhere near an Apple store), how much would it cost? 3) Would I get a spare in the meantime? Â
I feel like I'm getting screwed by Apple and Verizon at the same time, and I've completely had it with both companies.
I have an iPhone 3GS running OS4. I recently purchased a Billionton bluetooth audio receiver that is supposed to connect with the iPhone through bluetooth and has RCA line-level outputs to connect into my stereo. The idea was to be able to listen to music on my iPhone wirelessly through my home stereo.
I cannot get the iPhone to "discover" or find the bluetooth receiver. I have connected wireless headsets to my iPhone in the past and all I have had to do was put the device in pairing mode and the iPhone would automatically find it once I entered the bluetooth menu on the iPhone. I tried my wife's Blackberry and it seemed to be able to pair and connect to the receiver without problem.
The receiver is a Bluetooth v1.2 compliant, Class 1 Radio. It supports A2DP. The model of the receiver is a Billionton GMHSBTAR.
How do I adjust the volume for the phone recever on the IPhone 4? All the sounds work fine except for the receiver. I can hear a phone call or voicemail with the ear buds and remote mic, but not through the receiver.

iPhone 4s, purchased when originally released. Perfect condition, no drops, no spills, just normal use.
Just updated to iOS 5.1, and literally moments after install, first phone call came in, and I answered, the person sounded like she was speaking through an old trucker's CB on his way through Nebraska (no offense). Three days later after resetting, etc., still same issue.
Questions:
1. Is it hardware or software related, and is it just a coincidence that the receiver failed after updating?
2. Is it possible to reinstall an older iOS (like 5.0.1), and if so, how?

is there someone who knows if there's possible to play music on my iPhone or even iPod from an avarage old Panasonic car radio/receiver with USB input? And then just use the orignal white docking cable to USB? In theory it should be possible to send the audio signals through USB...

In the past, I was able to sync my iPhone 4 with iTunes in Windows 7 and even charge it using the usb cable but suddently stopped working. After formating the PC and installing everything again the PC the iPhone didn't show up in my computer, so I removed all the usb and I found out that the issue only appears when the Logitech Unifying receiver for my mouse is connected. Obviously, I can't use iTunes without the mouse, so I can't make any backups, transfer music or photos...

I have an iPhone 5s and my husband has an iPhone 4. We have the same iOS (7.1.1) and use the built in Messages app to send text messages. When I add an emoticon such as the smiling face with heart shaped eyes, my husband gets only an empty speech bubble. Â
I am choosing emoticons from the little world shaped icon beside my microphone, and if I choose the first emoticon - the regular smiling face, he gets that, but most of the others result in the empty speech balloon. Â
He can send me emoticons such as the smiling face with heart shaped eyes, and I receive the text just fine. Why his phone will not receive those texts?Â

I have been using E71 for well over a year, but I have never found information about where E71's GPS receiver is? I know N95 has its receiver located under 0 and # so we have to open the slider to get better reception. It would be nice if I find out there the receiver is on my E71 so that I can avoid covering it with my hands. As you all know it takes ages to lock satellite without A-GPS and that's what's happening to me as I mostly use it when hiking where there is no reception most of the time.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded the latest maps to my E63, but I do not have a GPS receiver. Is it not possible to still use the maps purely as a reference atlas to browse and if so, how? I can't get past the instruction to activate a GPS unit.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs LD-3W compatible with E71? Some regional Nokia sites do not list E71 as compatible with the LD-3W, while some sites do. Where can I get one in the Philippines? I have visited one Nokia store, and the sales person mentioned that they don't sell that device. Why is that? Is there any way I can test one of these receivers for compatibility?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI know there are ways to use a GPS BT reciever WITH my Blackberry Storm phone but is there a way for me to use my Blackberry Storm AS a Bluetooth GPS reciever? This might not be a common question but I was wondering if there was a way. The reason is because I have another phone where the GPS accuracy is downright junk but I heard you can use it in conjunction with other BT GPS Recievers as a "band-aid" fix. I do not want to purchase a BT GPS reciever and I had an old Blackberry Storm just lying around and was wondering if I could turn that into a BT GPS Reciever.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB Torch 9810 two days back. So far it was working fine. All of a sudden today morning I realized that when someone calls me and I pick the call, I dont hear anything. If I say something that does not get to the other person. It seems that neither the receiver nor the mike on the phone has stopped working since today morning. Till yesterday it was working fine. When I call comeone, the call goes through but I am not able to hear the ringing volume or the person... After doing some testing, it seems that when I press the "Mute On/Off" button a couple of times, the other person is able to hear my voice for a very short interval..I have checked speakers are working fine, eamil is fine, notification sounds are fine.. To me it seems a H/W issue but considering the BB quality (main reason to switch from Nokia E72), I tend not to believe it.

View 16 Replies View RelatedA couple of days ago my Satio's GPS receiver doesn't work properly any more. I get no specific error messages, it's just trying to connect tot satellites but doesn't succeed. When trying to connect to pinpoint my position, the response (in Dutch) is something like: GPS has a poor performance when you are inside. Google Maps is trying to connect all the time, SportyPal is trying to initialize the GPS all the time.
No connection with satellites whatsoever. I'm not sure, but maybe there's a connection with installing SportyPal on my phone? I installed that about a week ago. I have the latest software/firmware update installed successfully. I restarted the phone a couple of times, left it outside for half an hour to get connected, nothing works.
The problem I am having is I cannot hear the caller. The caller can hear me. I have to either use an ear piece and microphone or put the phone on speaker. I have had this phone for almost two years. This is a recent problem. I have removed the battery for a full ten minutes and reinstalled. I have performed the update and have the latest versions: Desktop software version 7.1.0.32 release date July 11, 2012 bundle 33. Phone software is 6.0, Bundle 695.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have nokia E63. Ovi Maps is installed. Have map version v3.01 09wk44 b01MW map version 0.1.26.113.
I just bought bluetooth GPS receiver and have question. Can I use bluetooth GPS receiver with Ovi maps? How could I pair it and use with Ovi maps?
After reading this forum and the "Android Forums", it is obvious many (paying) subscribers experience this problem. Intermittently, when I make a call or receive a call, there is no audio: I can't hear them and they can't hear me. However, the connection is good.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad a 19 mile training run today. The device was set in marathon mode and I was using a bluetooth headset. After mile 17 the battery was at about 20% and the tracking got very weird. The distance measure got really inconsistant and the pace was way off. When I look at the data, the elevation went to 0 and it drew a straight line from that point to the finish. The only thing I can think of was that the GPS receiver was turned off. Has anyone seen this? If this is a setting, how can I turn if off? When I finished the battery was at 10% and music playback was never interupted. I am using software version 1.7.12 N8

View 1 Replies View RelatedTo improve GPS performance, can the 5800 be paired with a Bluetooth GPS receiver? Does anyone have this working and with which GPS receiver?
GPS problems:
1 - cannot obtain a lock outdoors at all or within a reasonable period using unassisted GPS.
2 - using WiFi assist, gives inaccurate location, off by hundreds of feet to a mile.
The 5800 has the latest firmware, maps software, and maps offered. The GPS receiver would be attached to the car's dashboard.
