View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to OS 6 on my Bold 9700. I'm on BIS. I have 4 email addresses on my BB - 1 gmail, 1 googlemail, and 2 POP from the same domain. I can open attachments (have docs to go and attachment service) on all but one of the pop addresses (''this attachment type cannot be viewed on your device'). have resent service books, registered HRT (?) and double checked I have both docs to go and attachment service. I know it can do it because it does it for the other three..am I missing a simple setting somewhere. Oh, and I've tried quite a few battery re-boots.....

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a few things I have to download for work (email attachments, videos, etc.) And in OS5 it wasn't a problem at all. In OS6 I'm getting "download failed" almost every time. Its the only issue I've run across since upgrading.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just purchased and tested the Miccus Bluetooth Audio receiver. The setup and syncing of the device was easy and successful. However, as soon as I began playing back any media on the phone and outputting the sound via the wireless Bluetooth protocol, I heard very bad static and distorted sound on the stereo, which is connected to the Miccus receiver.I then tested the Miccus receiver on my roommate's 8530 blackberry and the sound was crystal clear! What gives? And could this be a software or hardware issue with the 9650?(phone calls via separate bluetooth headset work fine)
View 12 Replies View RelatedWhen I open an email attachment, such as an xls or pdf, I get a message saying the document/item has been stored in my phone's downloads folder. However, said folder does not seem to exist. I have something called Downloads in the app drawer, but those email attachments aren't in there. I frequently need quick access to these items when I'm out and away from my desktop, and I don't want to dig through a bunch of past emails to re-download the attachment.
View 4 Replies View RelatedBought this phone a week ago and went through nokias messaging set up. Receives email with no problem but no matter what I cannot open my attachments. Tapping on the attachments makes no difference and does not select them into another screen (if you know what I mean).Help please I have asked nokia and my phone provider but no replies using the support email systems?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been able to read email attachments before (.pdf, word, .xls) but for some reason,I can no longer receive them. There is an attachment which cannot be opened which is a winmail. dat file.To my knowledge, I have not done anything to stop the attachments opening!I upgraded to Version 5 of the software in the hope that this would resolve the problem, but it did not. I can however open .jpg files.I synchronise with Outlook which is still working normally and I can see the attachments OK in Outlook.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWas wondering where these are saved on the htc one? Where and how do you access these? I remember a long time ago I had to use something like Linda file manager or file explorer app. I would be very surprised if there wasn't a default app in jellybean that allows you to do this.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from ios ver 4.something to 5.1.1 on my Iphone 4. I can't open any mail attachments (Jpegs, excel, pdf's). When I click on an attachment it shows that it is downloading the file and then when it is done, the attachment icon blinks and nothing happens. It used to work fine before - I have 2 gmail accounts setup on my phone -they've been on my phone for the past 1yr and working fine. Rebooted the phone by pressing home and power. I deleted the accounts and re-installed with no luck. I went into Mail settings and set images to auto load - no luck. Turned wifi on and off I desperately need this for my work - I've been using Safari to login into Gmail.
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1
When backing up my phone, will it backup emails? if it does, will it save attachments too?
I lost my phone for 2 days and now i got it back, want to know if this info can be backed up and if it can be opened.
But for now,I have a basic inquiry.i use aol email(accessed using tmobile web n walk) and need to access music i receive to work on .when i receive a mail over 5mb,i do not have the option to open or save it?why is this(even my old c902 had no limit as such)?also an attachment accessed via my laptop measured at say for instance,4.5mb(a fairly normal music file size) will be increased by 20% or so in size when accessing it via the X10?why?this is pushing most of the files over this 5mb limit(if there is indeed a limit)Would setting up a different email account make any difference or how i view/access my mail?are there any other settings i could change?ive contacted SE and they see no reason for it not to work 'in theory' but havnt actually guided me to any solution.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was trying to send 2 pictures(total size abt 2MB) as an email attachment using my IMAP mailbox and mail reached outbox, but it never sent out. Since this attempt my mailbox behaves wierdly and does not sync emails properly. So I removed the mailbox and I set it up again. Still there are few issues with sync but atleast emails are coming & going.
Also I tried again to send a very small size file as an attachment but in the compose email screen when I do attach the file, nothing happens and it automatically comes out of the mailbox. The email is saved in drafts folder with no attachment . can someone confirm if attachments are support by E72 email client ?I am on 031.023 FW and I have set up email using 'Other' option in the Set Email wizard.
My E7 has stopped sending emails with attached files.Emails with attachments sit in outbox and get the "Unable to open while sending" tip when I try to view/edit the email.AFAIK, nothing has changed in terms of my setup as the E7 recieves emails with attachments, sends emails without attachments. I can't seem to find any in depth settings to do with server ports and such within the mail settings anymore.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI upgraded from an N8 to the Lumia 920.I weekly receive work emails which have attached to them either xls, doc or PDF files which I was able to open directly with my N8 with Quick office or Adobe PDF reader. Not only that, I could download and store the said documents straight to my phone and open with the Microsoft apps too.On the Lumia I'm unable to do either, even though this has Office 365.I'm unable to open any attachment straight from email with it's inbuilt office suite.I do own Office 2010 on my PC, but what do I need to do to integrate with Office 365?When I added my email address it just duplicated the account and still didn't open attachments?

#1 when on my internet browser, it sometimes requires me to zoom in and sometimes click a link severel times before it will actually go to that link. I am wondering if its something to do with the new verizon update or if my phone is messed up?
#2 I cannot open any attachments in my email anymore. Any jpeg, pic, or pdf attachments pull up saying my phone does not support those attachments.
Recently every time I get an email with an attachment, the attachment isn't there. I have sent myself a few documents as attachments and they don't show up on my Storm 2.
View 4 Replies View RelatedA client of mine has 6 curve 9300s. The issue is when they are sent emails from macs containing PDFs. There appears to be no attachment. The issue is not the size of the PDF (tried very small PDF). Its not the mac itself. (i know the issues of HTML email/plain text/rtf). If it is sent from outlook for PC, it is fine. 2 handsets (same OS version - the latest orange UK version), getting an email sent from the same mac, to email accounts on the same external host at the same domain. 1 works, 1 doesnt. The recipients use the same version of Mac mail and both see it fine on their mac. If i go into messages options, then the one that fails has the sub choice of Email Account Management, this doesnt exist on the one that works. Yet its the same version of software! The one that works now, didnt work yesterday until i upgraded to the latest OS version. That didnt fix it for the other one. I just want emails sent from a mac, regardless of format, to get to the blackberry. Is that so hard?

I have also not been able to receive calendar requests.
