BB Bold 9650 :: Bluetooth Stereo Audio Receiver Distortion?
Sep 1, 2010
I just purchased and tested the Miccus Bluetooth Audio receiver. The setup and syncing of the device was easy and successful. However, as soon as I began playing back any media on the phone and outputting the sound via the wireless Bluetooth protocol, I heard very bad static and distorted sound on the stereo, which is connected to the Miccus receiver.I then tested the Miccus receiver on my roommate's 8530 blackberry and the sound was crystal clear! What gives? And could this be a software or hardware issue with the 9650?(phone calls via separate bluetooth headset work fine)
I have 5800 with version 40. When I go to establish a Bluetooth connection between the phone and my car stereo with BT, the phone finds the car audio receiver but fails to pair .
In the phone help section , it say I need to first assign a pin code to the phone and then enter the same number on the radio receiver and then start pairing .
I have looked all over and can not find any menu on my phone that let me input any pin number . I have tried numbers like 12345 and 1234 on the radio receiver but failed .
Does any one knows how to input the pin number . This apparently is not the Sim number .
This is a number we are supposed to come up with and input in both devices
I've got my Droid and my Xoom both loaded up with my music but sometimes I want to stream it to my stereo. know of something I can hook up to my receiver which can receive bluetooth audio?
My Photon must be having Apple envy and has decided to refuse to cooperate. Unlocking can still be an occasional two minute ordeal with many whispered metaphorical condemnations of it's heritage and habits. However, my main complaint is the bluetooth audio stutter I hear on a stereo headset.
I have no problems pairing and listinening to audio on a set of bluetooth stereo headphones via my MacBookPro (or my friend's iPhone), but the Photon makes me want to kick something very hard and repeatedly. The audio stutter-pop every 1/3 second (approximatly) is beyond frustrating.
The only thing that reduces the stuttering is if I hold the phone within 3 inches (yes, 3"!) of the headset. Oddly, my mono canal-style headset has a range of about 36 feet. Both of the headsets are less than two months old, and I know that the stereo headset is up to version 3.x of the bluetooth spec. (the Photon is using bluetooth v. 2.1).
I've noticed a small crack on the very top left of my 3GS around the metallic frame that has coincided with a problem with the audio when adding headphones.
I suppose I'm trying to diagnose whether the impact of this crack could have damaged in some way the audio jack to cause audio problems when fully inserting the headphones. If I insert the headphones 1/2 way the audio is as new, but obviously as they're not fully inserted makes it tricky to listen without having to support the jack to provide the connection.
I've tried fully inserting a similar jack linked to my stereo, however, and the audio is as new!?!? I've also tried the headphones out of another iPod to see whether that is causing a problem as well as attempting to clean the jack and blow any dust out but to no avail.
With large movie files (greater than 500MB), there is audio distortion while playing during action sequences or loud volume dialog (does not occur with audio files or as far as I can tell smaller video files).
After reading this forum and the "Android Forums", it is obvious many (paying) subscribers experience this problem. Intermittently, when I make a call or receive a call, there is no audio: I can't hear them and they can't hear me. However, the connection is good.
All audio on my Bold 9650 has suddenly stopped functioning - no ring tones, alerts, speakerphone, music or voice recordings can be heard. The phone is not muted and the volume is turned up. Hard reset and soft reset have not fixed it. Software was upgraded to 5.0.0.1006 after problem started and did not resolve it. Device self test performed and verified that no audio functions were working. Also, there's an icon that I don't remember seeing before showing below my EDGE indicator. It is a white circle with a cross through it, like the sight symbol when you are focusing a gun or camera. I can't find the icon on any icon list to indicate what it means.
As far as I know, the stereo recording is only used when recording video, because it uses the two rear microphones. If we use the audio recording app, it uses the front microphone and records in mono. Is there any way to record just audio in stereo without having to actually film?
Is there a way to get headphones to playback in Stereo mode? I've tried the earbuds that came with the phone, as well as an old set of Sony Stereo headphones I have - listening to music downloads from the Spotify App as well as just using earbuds/headphones in normal phone mode (calls, voicemail, etc) - both only playing in Mono mode (no sound at all from left channel, only right). I'm using a 3.5mm adapter, if that makes a difference?
i have heard that there is a stereo microphone accessory for sony xperia phones, since its a stereo input micropohne, i need to know whether i could feed any stereo input (line in recording) to my phone and record better quality audio.
Is there a high quality stereo audio recorder available for N8? The in-built app can only record at highest of 64kbps.I'm looking for one with at least stereo 128kbps capability.
If I want to make high quality audio recordings on the phone, is it Onenote I should go for? Or, what is the best choice and how do I transfer the files to my computer?
Since I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....
Is LD-3W compatible with E71? Some regional Nokia sites do not list E71 as compatible with the LD-3W, while some sites do. Where can I get one in the Philippines? I have visited one Nokia store, and the sales person mentioned that they don't sell that device. Why is that? Is there any way I can test one of these receivers for compatibility?
I know there are ways to use a GPS BT reciever WITH my Blackberry Storm phone but is there a way for me to use my Blackberry Storm AS a Bluetooth GPS reciever? This might not be a common question but I was wondering if there was a way. The reason is because I have another phone where the GPS accuracy is downright junk but I heard you can use it in conjunction with other BT GPS Recievers as a "band-aid" fix. I do not want to purchase a BT GPS reciever and I had an old Blackberry Storm just lying around and was wondering if I could turn that into a BT GPS Reciever.
I installed a Sony XAV 62BT receiver in my car this weekend. An important buying decision was improving the bluetooth audio experience in my car. My wifes iphone connects and works beautifully but the minute the blackberry connects to the receiver it seems to lock up the receivers tuner and ipod playing functionality. I am able to make calls and receive calls while the blackberry is engaged but all calls and functions need to be handled through the blackberry keyboard.
The stereo sound on my galaxy s6 edge's audio Jack stopped working after plugging it into an old (20+ years) sound system via auxiliary. The left still works but the right just makes a buzzing noise.
I successfully pair my iphone 4s with my car stereo. However, the audio form calls and music is not being transferred. I´ve already tried with two different car stereos.
Does the Motorola HS820 Bluetooth Audio Headset work with the Blackberry Bold 9700? It is not clear to me if only Blackberry bluetooth devices work with the Bold 9700, or any bluetooth device. With the Bold 9700 recognize to ask for the four digit code when first aligning it with the HS820?
I have an iPhone 3GS running OS4. I recently purchased a Billionton bluetooth audio receiver that is supposed to connect with the iPhone through bluetooth and has RCA line-level outputs to connect into my stereo. The idea was to be able to listen to music on my iPhone wirelessly through my home stereo.
I cannot get the iPhone to "discover" or find the bluetooth receiver. I have connected wireless headsets to my iPhone in the past and all I have had to do was put the device in pairing mode and the iPhone would automatically find it once I entered the bluetooth menu on the iPhone. I tried my wife's Blackberry and it seemed to be able to pair and connect to the receiver without problem.
The receiver is a Bluetooth v1.2 compliant, Class 1 Radio. It supports A2DP. The model of the receiver is a Billionton GMHSBTAR.
After being upgraded to .732 for a while, I have come in to my first problem. My Bluetooth is not working properly. When I receive a call or go to make a call it won't let me, it just picks up and hangs right up. I have never had a problem with Bluetooth before. Does anyone else have this issue from Sprint .699 upgrading to .732? I don't know if I should wipe and reinstall or just go back to .699, which I didn't have any problem with anyway? Thoughts?
I have nokia E63. Ovi Maps is installed. Have map version v3.01 09wk44 b01MW map version 0.1.26.113. I just bought bluetooth GPS receiver and have question. Can I use bluetooth GPS receiver with Ovi maps? How could I pair it and use with Ovi maps?
To improve GPS performance, can the 5800 be paired with a Bluetooth GPS receiver? Does anyone have this working and with which GPS receiver?
GPS problems: 1 - cannot obtain a lock outdoors at all or within a reasonable period using unassisted GPS. 2 - using WiFi assist, gives inaccurate location, off by hundreds of feet to a mile.
The 5800 has the latest firmware, maps software, and maps offered. The GPS receiver would be attached to the car's dashboard.
Wondering if any of u have gotten ur verizon 9650? If so have u noticed ur trackpad left side being higher than right? I ask becuz as we all may know the sprint 9650 has that. Doesn't bother me...nor do I think its defect.
I own a 2014 Chevy Equinox. The car's auxiliary connector does not work with the G4, so I connect with a stand alone Bluetooth device plugged into my cigarette lighter. The problem is the volume is about 50% lower via this method. I'm thinking it's the Bluetooth device I'm using. I tried about a dozen vol u me apps and none of them work
I had bought BB9900 in September and started having problem with the loudspeaker since last month. The voice was starting to get distorted to the point that it was unclear to understand the audio at all. As the phone was under warranty, I took it to sharaf dg (the retailer from whom I had bought this unit). After 13 days of no response, I am being informed that one of the four "buzzer" near the back cover has been "tampered" and hence I have to pay extra charges for getting it fixed as it doesn't cover the warranty offered. I have been using the phone with utmost care and was baffled to hear such a response.
I would like to know if this issue does in fact fall out of the warranty and whether I do have to pay the amount to get phone fixed? I feel I am being taken for a ride.I have requested them to furnish me in writing what the problem is with photo evidence.
I have just purchased a new flip case for my blackberry bold 9780, the case fits perfectly and provides fantastic protection but I have noticed that when I am typing and use keys on the left hand side of the keyboard it causes a ripple effect on the screen. Will this cause long term problems if I continue to use it or will it be safe to use? I really like the case but would rather not cause damage to the screen.
