Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Camera ISO Sensitivity Bug In ICS

Jan 7, 2012

The ICS is taking bad photos because it uses high ISO all the time. In the photo below, the camera decided to take the shot using the following parameters:

F-Stop: f/2.6
Shutter Speed: 1/40
ISO Speed: 1250

This second photo is taken using Android GB. The camera used the following parameters:

F-Stop: f/2.6
Shutter Speed: 1/16
ISO Speed: 800

This one is extremely darker that the first photo but this one is much cleaner.Clearly, we have a bug in the ICS Camera.

Xperia Z5 :: GPS Sensitivity - Able To Get GPS Lock And Record For Entire Ride

Jul 3, 2010

I will often record a GPS track if I am flying in a plane and in a window seat.  My old phone (HTC Incredible 4G LTE and even older HTC Incredible) would be able to get a GPS lock and record for the entire ride.  Every now and then I may lose the signal.  On my most recently flight, I tried this phone at the same time and noticed that it loses lock much more often.  So overall, the sensitivity seems to be worse.  When looking at detailed info, it seems like the number of satellites and signal strength from each satellite is about the same when viewing side by side.  The Sony just requires a higher strengh to "lock".  I'd rather have a GPS lock with lower accuracy...

Galaxy S6 :: Screen Sensitivity On Phone

Jul 1, 2015

in the old S5 you could enable "glove mode" to improve touchscreen sensitivity, with this option enabled you could use a simple pencil as a stylus.
I know it's enabled by default in the S6 (even without an option in settings) but it's not as the S5 was (no pencil stylus here).

IPhone :: Home Button Has Lost Sensitivity?

May 28, 2012

Just recently I have noticed that my iPhone 4 home button isn't responding like it used to for example sometimes I have to press my home button a couple of times for it to work properly, this can be quite frustrating. I can understand that this might be due to normal wear and tear as I have had it for more than a year but I am certain that I have looked after my iPhone with great care and can assure you that I have never dropped my iPhone on hard floor so that can't be the reason for the home button to not work. I have tried re-calibrating my home button I am not under apple coverage anymore as I have been with my iPhone for more than a year so I am unable to send it to apple for repairs.

Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

Motorola Atrix 4G :: Any Way To Increase Volume Or Sensitivity On Mic?

My Cliq recently stop functioning correctly as a phone. I can make and take calls, but only if I use the head phones or put the phone on speaker phone. I have read on other forums that this is somewhat of a regular problem with lots of different phones, but none have a real solution. I have tried all of the usual remedies as far as shutting down/battery pull/system reset etc.

Motorola Photon 4G :: Screen Looses Its Sensitivity

Dec 8, 2011

I am having problems with my screen. Will not time out even though I go back to settings and redo or change. The screen dims for a moment randomly and then lights full again but will not time out. Also there are a few random times when it seems to loose all touch sensitivity (I cannot unlock!) or if it is unlocked cannot do anything - screen seems to be frozen. And now the proximity sensor doesn't work - the screen is still active once it is up to my ear and it's dailing random numbers while I am trying to talk.

Eseries / Communicators :: E7 Touch Screen - How To Reduce Sensitivity

Jun 28, 2011

just got a E7 last week. Great phone for my needs but I find the touch screen a little too sensitive that a slight brush would activate e.g the call dial pad or the options menu in the home screen. This usually happens when I try one handed operations as I try to stretch my thumb across the screen.

Does anyone know where & how to reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen so that it will only register a touch when I deliberately touch it?

Nokia Lumia :: 920 Screen Sensitivity Degraded While Plugged In?

Nov 15, 2012

when I use the phone while plugged in, scrolling around on the screen sucks. As I swipe on screen, it sometimes won't swipe but will just launch apps that your finger touched last during the swipe. If I swipe slow, it seems to help but sometimes refuses to move and will just launch what ever y finger was touching last when I lift off the screen. It's really annoying and makes the phone useless plugged in because you can't navigate the phone consistently. When I unplug it, it works flawlessly. It's instantly better.

Xperia Z3 :: Quick Camera Button Sets The Camera In Automatic Settings

May 16, 2015

A friend is having troubles with his Z3 : He used to take pictures with the quick camera launch button, but since a recent camera or system update, when he use this button, the camera is set to automatic mode instead of manual, with poor resolution and quality settings. If he launches the camera with the standard button from the phone menu, everything is fine and perfectly set up.

When the camera is used from the quick button and set back to the correct quality settings and manual mode, after closing it, it goes back to auto mode with bad settings. Same thing when he slides the camera icon from the locked screen. The only way to get the proper settings when launching the camera is to use the icon from the phone's menu.

He tried a lot of things, from uninstalling the camera updates to searching everywhere on the internet, there is no information or messages about this problem.

Nokia :: 5800 - Latest Update / Touchscreen Sensitivity Increased

Jun 26, 2010

I got the latest software (v50) for my phone and have had a few annoyances. Firstly my text when writing a text sometimes randomly starts deleting itself as though the delete has got a mind of its own and has locked or something, meaning I helplessly watch my text get deleted. Secondly, when browsing, occasionally if I bring up the back and option buttons (coming out of full screen mode) they just wont appear and I cannot do anything unless I close and reload the page. Thirdly when touching an icon, it may not realise for a while and I have to keep pressing it other times I accidently press something once and it opens it. The new features are great, but the problems are annoying and is it possible the sensitivity can still be increased as its almost perfect in terms of touch sensivity from a finger. I end up using my nail to help it along sometimes.
