I was wondering if there is any way to increase the volume or sensitivity on the mic? I am a soft talker and it makes it really hard to talk to people on this phone. I have seen the apps called volume boosters for the speakers.
View 1 RepliesMy Cliq recently stop functioning correctly as a phone. I can make and take calls, but only if I use the head phones or put the phone on speaker phone. I have read on other forums that this is somewhat of a regular problem with lots of different phones, but none have a real solution. I have tried all of the usual remedies as far as shutting down/battery pull/system reset etc.

The best product to date i have used for tracking my gym session.I have noticed that everytime i press the power button, the volume increase and the music section starts ups. Very hard to track my gym work majority of the time as it stops the start button to work.I have updated to the latest version, no change in behaviour.Powering off is not an option as it automatically goes into bootloader mode, very hard to get it out of bootloader mode.

I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.

My phone call volume is fine but media playback volume is WAY too loud! Even with the phone volume and headset volume at the lowest it's too loud. This has only been a problem since the Gingerbread update. I tried the H17 on another phone and it works fine. Definitely a post Gingerbread issue.Anyone else have issues with this model headset or any other since the update?

I can't hear a caller until after this volume is raised. I can only adjust it during a call using the volume control on the phone. It stays at that level until the BT disconnects, but the volume is again 0 after reconnecting.Is there anyway to permanently set this volume level? It is a complete pain otherwise. If I can change the volume before a call, not only during, that may be acceptable.More info: I have a Motorola Roadster external phone headset, too, and it doesn't behave this way. The car manufacture claims it is the phone that sets the volume not the car. The car has the latest firmware.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my HTC one m8 two months ago and I've been using it very frequently. When I use it I see the volume bar increasing to max randomly. It's extremely annoying since I wear headphones. I tried some things out and found out that when ever I touch the volume up button slightly it raises the volume. You can feel the click of a button on any volume button that indicates that you are pressing it. I don't even push it to feel that. It's a light touch and it goes way up. My lower volume button is fine and it doesn't increase until I push past that click. What's going on? I've heard of loose volume buttons mine are firm and don't rattle.

I used to have Note 2 with the same problem, but I just rooted it and modified sound config file, but I really want to avoid rooting S6, since its a superior phone and i dont need any benefits root might offer.
So is there a way to increase maximum heaphone volume, without rooting your phone? I am using medium-range sony earbuds, hated the new Apple like S6 stock ones (by the way, what do you think of them?), and atm I dont have spare cash for a new model, so replacing the earbuds is out of the question. If not, what is the least-system-modifying root and sound mod? I want to stay as close to stock as possible.
Any way to increase this? I even downloaded new alerts, but the phone won't use them. Or I can't figure out how to make the phone use them.
