My volume button broke! I can increase the volume of my music but i cant decrease it! What can I do?PS I listen to music a lot so i need the button to work?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this today that when I'm playing a song on my phone, the volume buttons act as the media player as well switching to the next song. I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.

Need to increase volume for headphone for iphone 5 as it's too low compared to iphone 4. Also add text message delivery report in ios 8. It's very useful.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, we've discussed this in other forums. There are hundreds that experience this problem. The volume will not raise or lower when the screen is off. (Such as holding it up to your ear.) You have to take the phone away from your ear and turn on the screen before you can change the volume. So, will they be fixing this any time soon? I know that theyre working on the hotspot, but this affects more users. Some have thought that this was put in by design to keep someone from inadvertently raising the volume while talking. If th the case, then Motorola needs to give us an option to turn this setting off. Many owners are upset about this. e heard that the volume will raise if you repeatedly press it. m on my second Razr and I can honestly tell you that neither worked this way.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my HTC one m8 two months ago and I've been using it very frequently. When I use it I see the volume bar increasing to max randomly. It's extremely annoying since I wear headphones. I tried some things out and found out that when ever I touch the volume up button slightly it raises the volume. You can feel the click of a button on any volume button that indicates that you are pressing it. I don't even push it to feel that. It's a light touch and it goes way up. My lower volume button is fine and it doesn't increase until I push past that click. What's going on? I've heard of loose volume buttons mine are firm and don't rattle.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAt certain times, for example at the gym or a crowded bus, where there are a lot of loud sounds around you, the maximum media volume is not enough for me. I used to have Note 2 with the same problem, but I just rooted it and modified sound config file, but I really want to avoid rooting S6, since its a superior phone and i dont need any benefits root might offer.
So is there a way to increase maximum heaphone volume, without rooting your phone? I am using medium-range sony earbuds, hated the new Apple like S6 stock ones (by the way, what do you think of them?), and atm I dont have spare cash for a new model, so replacing the earbuds is out of the question. If not, what is the least-system-modifying root and sound mod? I want to stay as close to stock as possible.
Any way to increase this? I even downloaded new alerts, but the phone won't use them. Or I can't figure out how to make the phone use them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe volume on my new Nokia Lumia 920 will randomly go very low. So far this only happens when the phone has no need to make any sounds for a long period such as playing music or videos. It goes to like volume of 1/30, but increasing it to 30/30 does nothing to increase it. only putting it to 0/30 mutes as normal but still doesn't go past 1. I have had to restart my phone several times in order to temporarily fix this issue. My phone is completely up to date with the software.
View 14 Replies View RelatedMy Cliq recently stop functioning correctly as a phone. I can make and take calls, but only if I use the head phones or put the phone on speaker phone. I have read on other forums that this is somewhat of a regular problem with lots of different phones, but none have a real solution. I have tried all of the usual remedies as far as shutting down/battery pull/system reset etc.

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to increase the volume of the music by pressing the volume button it changes my song selection. When I insert the BB Torch into my belt holder and then try to increase the music volume it actually works. I tried calling customer support at AT&T and was told that I need to take my phone to the nearest AT&T store and have the BB software upgraded. Is there a fix for this issue? I am becoming frustrated with my purchase to the newest,"best" blackberry that RIM has ever sold. My opinion is that the device has fallen short of everyone's expectations and the lack of technical support leaves me feeling that RIM does not feel that they need to be held accountable for taking people's money for a product that fails to perform as they advertised. The product that I purchased fails to do all the things that I was believed it would do when I purchased it.
