I got w830i with the increase volume key stuck. Cant press increase vol, but the decrease vol button is OK. I'm wondering anything i can do to increase the volume except having my w830i repaired?

Even though I already turn the volume up to the max, I still cannot hear other people clearly no matter using the receiver on the headset or a headset. I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone looks like a tiny brick now. I can't reset it, I can't upgrade/fix/repair because it's stuck at the SE logo. It happened after internet browsing I've been prompted to forcefully close the browser, then later on it wants me to close the SE home app, then finally it's reset and I can only see until the SE logo.
I tried removing the battery for more than 10 secs, pluggin the usb cable while pressing back - still can't connect to pc. I tried holding down power+home, nothing.
Is there a hard reset button somewhere I can use? I'd rather reset everything with all my data than send it over to SE support since that means it'll take weeks with no phone
I am using "NAVAR acoustic K850i v0.1 (my mix)" one of the mod driver acoustic for my K850i, I got a quality sound from backspeaker and from my walkman series headset. However I don't get the Loud In-call volume. And when I connect SE MPS-70 speaker to my K850i. I get very low volume. I am getting louder volume in my phone backspeaker than this external speaker.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Naite yesterday. Used it as usual, drained the battery first, then charged it up till it's 100 percent complete. I went to school. During the trip, I plugged in the bundled headset HPM-60 and played some music. I noticed then, compared to other phones, that the volume level of the music I'm hearing from the headset is a little soft considering I'm, at that time, playing the music at it's maximum volume. I tried changing the equalizers of the phone but still, there is no great change to the volume I'm hearing.
I played the same music on Nokia 7210 Supernova and Motorola W231, with same bitrates, sampling frequencies, and file size, and found out that the Naite's sound is really softer compared to the other two. I even tried to fiddle with the settings (stereo widening, equalizers) but still, the Naite ended up with the softest sound. Is there anyway I can increase the volume of my Naite?
My Zylo's screen is now blank?! I've taken the battery out and re-booted after a few minutes - the usual log on and graphics appear but then the screen goes blank instead of showing the usual main menu.

My big problem is that Three claim that it has water damage (it hasn't) and probably won't let me send it back to them to get it reflashed (I've no idea what this means but it solved a similar problem in the past). Furthermore, I can't get my computer to recognize the phone when I connect it. Is this the end?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently installed a 4 MB software update through the 'Update software' service in my phone.
I`m facing some major issues with it:
1) The reception has become really bad now! Earlier i never experienced call drops but now they are so frequent.
2) The flash remains on even if u switch it off in the still picture mode. This means when u click a pic, till the time the autofocus is running the flash will remain on.
It is very uncomfortable as everybody around u comes to know that u are taking a pic. Very embarrasing if u want to click secretly.
3) 'Flash Auto' has also become unresponsive. In the same lit room in 1 direction the flash would auto on, in another it wont.
4) The loudspeaker cracks at max volume. This wasnt the case earlier.
The sony ericsson website says sony phones cannot be downgraded. Is it true? Can i never get my original software again?

I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.
Updated 2 weeks ago, was ok, turn phone off(hang) back on- now just fails to boot (flashes 14 sec) shows sony logo 1 at boot, then flashes. You plug into PC, ask for boot file driver? Looks like latest patch (maybe) screed up boot up of phone. I've never backed it up. Doing a phone repair. But will I lose everything? Including doc + paid games 90% done. This is a fresh phone, what happen to my games + data (I need them?) I pulled sd card out. I never herd of a phone not booting? Lost contacts. games(paid) etc memos. I've completed repair, all data on sd card, all phone data gone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI Have Sony Ericsson w610i about 2 years and before one week. It started stucking and I had to put of the battery and making reboot to be unstucked. I tried to update it with SE update service but it stuck in the middle of the update and after that it doesn't opens. Only a red light blinks. I checked the battery but it is ok. So as I searhed I found out that the problem is the EROM or GDFS. I am trying to repair it with flashing programs, but nothing.How can i fix it?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my HTC one m8 two months ago and I've been using it very frequently. When I use it I see the volume bar increasing to max randomly. It's extremely annoying since I wear headphones. I tried some things out and found out that when ever I touch the volume up button slightly it raises the volume. You can feel the click of a button on any volume button that indicates that you are pressing it. I don't even push it to feel that. It's a light touch and it goes way up. My lower volume button is fine and it doesn't increase until I push past that click. What's going on? I've heard of loose volume buttons mine are firm and don't rattle.
