I have a curve 9300 and the trackpad has developed a mind of it's own, it scrolls down to the bottom of the page making it difficult to select a message or read anything. I have tried changing the trackpad sensitivity but has made no difference.
View 1 RepliesI have a Curve 9300 with OS 6. I cannot return the device to the original retailer (out of warranty).This is kind of what happens.
1.)Trackpad stops scrolling after backlight switches back on. After waiting 10 seconds it works ok
2.) After an hour or so the trackpad stops scrolling entirely. The "push button" of trackpad still works though.
3.) I hard reset the device. Trackpad stops working entirely (doesnt scroll and pushing it as a button does not work either)
4.) I send phone in for repairs.
5.) If it works after "cleaning and reseating trackpad" my phone works fine for a few days. Then problem starts all over again.
6.)If cleaning does not work, they replace my trackpad. This usually works for a few weeks to a month. Then the problem starts all over again?I am getting sick of having the phone getting sent in for the trackpad to just be replaced again and again.
I accidently made one of my picture albums hidden and now can't figure out how to unhide it?

I sync my calender with Outlook few times a week which works fine when I sync one way. Phones > Outlook. unplug, replug, Outlook to Phone.If I try and sync both ways, it just doesnt happen and gives me some error message. I'm using windows 7 and have the latest Desktop Manager software.

I can just about navigate through my messages as I can click on things with the trackpad & thank god for keyboard shortcuts ! It would click but no matter what I tried it wouldn't move. I looked it up and it said it needed to be wiped, so stupidly I wiped my phone. But still, nothing. It would just click. Now, it's stuck on terms and conditions and non-usable. View 4 Replies View RelatedAlright, so the trackpad isn't working, but at the same time it is. When I use it with my bare skin, it doesn't work, it takes many swips to do anything. But when I use it with say a piece of tape, or a cloth on the end of my fingers it works great and without a problem.
It's a used phone so swapping it is not an option, but is there some way to fix it?
I went to go on my phone and the scrollpad wouldn't work, so I took it to the shop and they said update the OS to the latest, so I did, and now it only works if I REALLY lightly touch it and only then it works a tiny bit for abit a second, but it's clicking fine!

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy blackberry curve 9300 track pad just stopped working. i tried removing the battery and sim card, several times, to reboot the phone but it didnt work. later on i tried to re-insert my sim card, the track pad is moving up and down, left to right, but when i try using for clicking and opening sms or email for example, it couldnt possibly work.also, my email started coming in, but sms does not, it keeps on popping a message that my sim card messaging memory is full, when i no longer have sms kept because i deleted them to save space.
