View 1 RepliesI'm in a bit of a sticky situation. I cracked my LCD, the LCD not glass panal, somehow... I have pictures on my phone I NEED to get off, except Samsung Kies requires me to enter my passcode in order to sync it. I can't enter in my passcode because the LCD is cracked, and thus does not work. Is there anyway I can get the photos off my phone? Or am I SOL?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy pictures in the Samsung Gallery app are a lot duller than when I took them or where I downloaded them. It's strange because when I minimize the Gallery app, you can see it revert to the richer color version of the photo. I don't get it? So when I take photos with my camera the preview of it never looks good because it previews from Gallery. It's kinda greyish looking and not as vibrant. How do I resolve this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got a new samsung phone about a week ago.It was working just fine until yesterday when I was going to try to send a picture I had just taken to one of my friends, but for some reason it sent one I took a week ago. I figured maybe it was just a fluke, so I tried to send another picture, and the same thing happened. Again, I tried to send a picture, and it sent the correct one this time.In short, about 70% of the time I try to send a picture, it sends the wrong one.I don't use a memory card or use the internet on my phone, either.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using 2.3.6 on my first Android phone. I moved some photos from my PC to the phone (no SD card) and during the copy process I received a message - "may not be compatible with device". I can see them in my gallery but get no response when I try to select one of them for wallpaper. If I tap it, the photo is isolated and that's it. No response from menu icon. There are forward/backward arrows at bottom of screen and tapping them just gets me the date I copied the photo to the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI started to transfer my pictures from my phone to my computer and realized that all of them didn't transfer, even though they show up in Gallery and Photos. When I started looking at the folder structure on my phone while I had it connected to my computer, I found pictures in other folders. How many different folders are used to store pictures and is there a way I can get them to save to the same place so I can transfer them more easily. The ones that seem to be in different folders are the ones I've saved from texts and emails. They're in 2 different folders. I'm worried that I'm going to miss others because I don't know where they are.

I bought a cable but when I connect it to the phone and the laptop, I cannot see the internal memory. When I insert a microSD card into the phone, the phone allows me to copy/move pictures ONE by ONE to the card from the internal memory, which is extremely slow. Is there any way to copy all the pictures at once to the microSD card or directly to the PC? Maybe there is a program for doing that?

Together with its counterpart, Wave S8500, GALAXY S demonstrates SAMSUNG’s cutting-edges technology in a flushed design for a smooth connection performance and a stunning visual experience.
Uncovering the box, we find the Galaxy S phone, a battery, a charger, a handsfree and a user’s guide.
"The 4 inches Super AMOLED brilliant Full Touch screen allows you to zoom in and out with full touch and multi touch. The phone is made of tempered-glass with a smudge-resistant display.
Here comes the application interface. It is so convenient to use the Google Search taskbar on the menu page. Apart from the preloaded applications, there are 50,000 applications available from the Android Market. "
On top of the phone, you can find the standard 3.5mm audio jack and the micro-USB port with a sliding cover.
Carefully crafted with a sleek design, Galaxy S is an ultra slim smartphone with just 9.9mm thick and 118g, which is much lighter than iPhone 3GS (12.3mm and 135g). You can find the power toggle on the right edge.
Removing the battery cover, you can insert your SIM card and memory card. The smartphone has 16GB built-in memory and support up to 32GB microSD external memory which will be more than enough for heavy users. With 1500mAh battery capacity, the phone power will not be easily exhausted.
There is a fixed dock with four shortcuts to Phone, Contacts, Messaging and Home. You can customize the home screen with widgets and shortcuts. Preloaded with Google mobile applications, Galaxy S offers you quick access to Google service such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google maps and Picas by synchronizing your account information with the phone. If you love reading, Aldiko eBook brings you convenient reading experience.
Below the touchscreen, you can find three buttons including two touch sensitive keys—“menu” and “back”, and one physical “home” button. On the top right corner, there is a secondary camera. By using the mini-diary function, you can simply write your diary with attached photos and weather details.
Compared to input systems used in previous models, Galaxy S offers you more options for fast texting. The brand new Swype text input method enhances your typing speed by 1.5 times of standard type speed! Virtual Qwerty keyboard and hand writing recognition are also available.
With the 2.1 update 1 firmware version and ECLAIR build number, Galaxy S is optimizing users’ smartphone experience.
In short, if you are looking for a high-end smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S will be one of your choices with its enhanced super ALMOLED screen and a brand new 1GHz processor. For display performance, Galaxy S is similar to Samsung Wave but it lacks a flash light for photo taking. Its size is similar to HTC HD2 but lighter and thinner than iPhone 3GS. With its 16GB built-in memory, Galaxy S is designed for heavy multimedia users. After all, Samsung is offering the best for Galaxy S.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wife's internal screen has became pure white, and is absolutely non readable! My wife has over 400 pictures of our children on the phone. The phone in question is a Samsung Siren SCH-A870 Cricket.
Is all hope lost? I pray not. I am desperate as to what may be the best way to salvage the photos from the phones Bluetooth, onto my laptop? Is there a menu prompt I can use, to send the photos to my laptop, via blue tooth? I seek the manufacturers manual for the Samsung Siren SCH-A870 Cricket. Sadly, I was not able to make any rhyme nor reason from it. The graphics were awful. I know this was a dumb error to save the pictures of our kids on a cell phone.
I've been an iPhone user from the 3 to the 5S but decided to give the Android a shot and altho I like many of the phones features, the camera isn't producing pic's anywhere as good as my old iPhone 5S did ...
Stationary shots are fine, but I have 2 dogs and like to photograph them running around and doing their thing, and so far the S5 has been terrible with results. I've tried every setting on the phone. I've DL the 'Sports Shot' mode, but still all I get is a heap of blurry shots. In an hour at the local doggy park I'll take 50 - 60 shots and end up keeping 3 or 4 as the rest are blurred.
Now I REALLY want this phone to work for me, but as I say I'm not having much luck with pics, the video is fine, but yeah, not cutting it with the pictures...
For example.
iPhone 5S...
Samsung S5
As you see the iPhone has produced a picture that is better in every way from what I see.
Galaxy SII will not find pictures in the DCIM/Camera folder on the SD card after I have had the phone hooked up to USB. It will find all the other pictures on the phone. They are still on the phone just cannot be seen by any of the programs on the phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung S2 has had water damage, and although replacing the USB port allowed me to be able to continue using the phone, the pictures coming out of the camera now have flared/blown-out highlights, as if a glowy/milky filter has been applied to them (see samples attached), regardless of shooting conditions. Needless to say, before this happened, pictures did not have such artefacts.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? My guess is that the inside of the lens got a bit soiled while the phone was opened for repairs. In this case, I'm wondering if it would be worth opening the phone up again and using a lens wiper to clean the lens. However, I've never opened the phone up beyond the battery cover, and looking at how-to videos such as this, it seems that a lot can be broken without due care.
