I need to upgrade my contract pretty quick and need a new phone. I need a phone without a data or messaging plan (which they are getting hard to find to be honest). I'm looking at the SGH-A837. I've looked at several reviews and found about an even mix of people liking and hating it. Does anyone have this phone and can comment on the following areas:
Battery life
Durability
Build quality
Call quality
l bought an unlocked Rugby from Cell2get because l needed/wanted the Rugby without being locked into Rogers. l wanted and changed to Bell mobility. l have all but internet use with my phone. l want to use my GPS, yet was told l had to change Pin. l now need the PUK 2 pin. How do l get it? If l do get it, will l finally have internet access? Im on the unlimited internet plan.

overall, i was happy with the vu and all the hacks that allowed it to look like a htc, or iphone or pretty much anything.it is not acting up so i need to replace it and the impressions is catching my attention.

I've tried the vibrant gps and had no issues. I'm with rogers so the captivate will be coming my way. I also know that most who ***** tend to voice them and those being happy do so away from here! Now the only issue I am having is registering my ESN to their network in order to use it. I am somewhat confused as to how I am supposed to do so. I called the customer service number provided on their web site and asked the young lady what I needed to do in order to use my phone on their network. She really didn't understand what I was asking, but she did promptly try to sell me a new package with a free phone. I need some clarification on this subject in order to finish the setting up of this phone.

I'm trying to get my Samsung SGH-T255G to connect to my PC, but I'm getting a USB Device Not Recognized warning when I plug the USB in. I've tried both the front and rear ports, no difference.I have the Samsung driver v14.0.0.162 installed (did not plug in cable during install).I downloaded both Samsung PC Studio 3.2.3 and PC Studio 7.2.24.9. The applications work fine, but won't connect because of the Device Not Recognized issue. The phone sees USB power and begins charging when connected. I have it turned on and at the main "idle" screen. Does the phone have to be in a certain mode to connect? Not familiar with how to do this. I'm running XP Pro on the PC.

I accepted to install and since then the handset is stuck on a white background screen with "Software Update", a 0% status bar and "loading..." and thats all. This is been there since 4-5 hours now. It eventually drained the entire battery. When I charged it and powered it on, it still comes back to the "Software Update" screen.I tried to do a hard reset with both the volume button and the power button. It still comes back to the white screen.
