View 1 Replies View RelatedAn old gmail account shows up on my Torch 9800 in Setup-->Email Accounts as an Enterprise Account. It also appears as an Enterprise Activation icon on my Torch screen. Finally, it appears on Contacts-->Select Contact List. This gmail account was once on my Torch as an Internet Mail Account, but I deleted the account (from gmail and from the Torch). It no longer exists as far as Google is concerned. It never was and never should never have been an Enterprise Account, and I don't know how it became one. How can I completely wipe this gmail account from my Torch?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Yahoo! Mail account is associated with Gmail. I also have Yahoo mail separate app. The reason I associated my yahoo mail account with my Gmail app was the yahoo mail app's head was stuck in its arse (its performance sucked) . But there are two notifications for the same email and more importantly the yahoo mail app has started to do better- meaning I am not uninstalling it.
So my intention is now I want to remove the yahoo account from the Gmail. The problem is whenever I go to the Gmail app on my phone and remove the yahoo account By clicking remove account, it is gone. But, when I hit the yahoo mail app it starts from scratch like asking for username password and then showing "initialising mailbox". And finally the yahoo mail is again associated with Gmail !
Just got my XL and started setting up my email. Somehow now I have two identical email accounts: one is my gmail account, another is Outlook that actually points to the same gmail account. How can I get rid of the outlook one? also I am trying to setup a corporate email and it's just not taking it.

I have 2 email accounts that I use 2 different icons to access. in Gmail app, i can have both email addresses appear, I added 2nd email address, but don't like the way it works, and want to go back to how I had it before, but I am unable to delete the 2nd email address within Gmail. They say from Gmail, go into Settings, Accounts and Import, Check mail from other accounts, and delete the one I want to remove. I don't have the Accounts and import option. I have gone into my Email through settings and removed the 2nd email all together, but it still appears in my Gmail app..how do I get rid of it from Gmail? I want to have to apps, 1 for Gmail and another for 2nd email address.

I have recently synchronised my old Blackberry curve with my new Blackberry torch and unfortunately an old defunct email account has been transferred across - there was no way of removing this prior to the transfer.I have created a new email account and receive emails to this address, however, when I try to send an email, I have the option of chosing which account I use to send this from. I can cope with this, but what I cannot do is forward a received email onto someone else as my phone just appears to automatically select the old email address as the default one and I no longer have this email account. I cannot remove this from my phone as when I have tried to "delete an email address" the old address is not shown anywhere no matter where I have looked.

I set up my earthlink.net account on my phone so I could send one pic to my PC and now I cannot get it off! I cannot find any option on my Curve to set up an email account. I deleted my login and password for my email account on my phone; I deleted the CIMIME from the Service Book and deleted something called BIS 5 from somewhere. I'm still getting emails on my phone. I have been trying for months to sync my iPhone mail, contacts and calendars with Microsoft Outlook (Office Standard 2007). Now I find a new "Outlook" account in my iPhone email. I need to remove that Outlook (a new Microsoft email program?) and start over. As long as that new Outlook account is on the phone, my iPhone icon is useless.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to the Tour from the 8830 at work. My IT dept transfered all my information and there is a gmail email account icon, but the account doesn't work. I set it up again in the Email Setup section, but its not working. I removed what I did and the gmail icon is still there, but doesn't work. Can anyone help? My IT dept rep is an absolute ***** and has done nothing to help me with this problem besides telling me "well, I guess you just can't use Gmail on this phone", which is absurd since I could use it on the old one, so I know BB supports it.

I took the phone into a phone shop and they cleared the phone again but I am still receiving his emails. When you go to email setup the only address/account showing is my email, so I can't just disassociate the phone from his account that way.
