Dec 25, 2011I have Nokia N8 from last 8 months. One thing I have noticed that is written below with fact.
1) at out city both 2G and 3G coverage are available by BSNL
2) when I keep my mobile in Dual mode then its catches 3G coverage
3) but when we go somewhere out from city where 3G coverage is not available then my mobile catches 2G coverage......and here problem starts when mobile have coverage and if I calls or do SMS or I got any call or SMS the mobile loses coverage each time for 10 seconds( at this time of 10 seconds if some call me then I will be out of coverage area even if I am front of the mobile tower this is the biggest problem I have ever faced in Nokia's phone ever) and again catches 2G signals This same thing happens every time when I am in 2G signals Nokia should solve this problem soon.

Apr 3, 2010I have a Blackberry Curve (8530) from Verizon and within the last 24 hours my phone has gone from being fully functional to not functioning at all. First, my speakerphone stopped working, then I lost all sounds (ringing, alerts, etc) yet the vibrate setting still works, and now my trackpad has frozen to where I can't navigate the phone at all. I can still make calls by typing in the number or using my programmed numbers on the keys and I can still receive calls as well, but if I try and navigate using the trackpad, I can't move off of the sounds icon.About 4 days ago, I downloaded the new OS software when my phone prompted me to and when these problems started happening, I did a "soft" reset (alt+right shift+del) and a "hard" reset (removed the battery) which not solve any of the problems. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about how I can fix these problems outside of going to the Verizon store and waiting hours to get help?

May 1, 2010When I try and change my ringtone on my N97. I go into the profile & generalize then I look at my list of songs but when I click on the one I want to use it says 'unable to select object'. Nokia Nseries :: N8 Unable To Log On To All Ovi Services?
Jul 2, 2011i have a 4 month old n8 currently has issues with all features related to logging on to ovi. Thats the social app, the automatic update of email also stopped working as well as ovi sync. When i try log on it takes a while then says connection failed. Try again later. The next screen asks for my password again which i actually Havent changed as i can still log on to the ovi website. The ovi store was previously working well but i thought it could be the problem so i uninstalled it to no avail. I tried a soft reset which deleted the mailboxes but didnt solve a thing. Now i Cant set up any mail boxes. It takes ages on the preparing for set up screen without moving forward. Ovi sync still not working, neither is social and now i Cant download ovi store. Seems like the link is failing. Everything else is working fine. Internet included. I'm avoiding a hard reset because I'm miles away from a computer for a back up.

I then get prompted for email and password, but i don't get anny options for Gmail, Yahoo etc, and the only option is "mail for exchange" and that doesn't work with the gmail account.
