I just got my N8 a couple of days ago and i just noticed that it does not vibrate at all, ever. And I cant recall if it ever did. I already checked the settings and every vibrating alert is on?

My n8 only vibrates once when on silent. It is not very noticable and I would like it to vibrate several times. Am I able to change this?
Also is it possible to change the force of the vibrate as it seems quite weak compared to the n97?
is there not a "Vibrate Only" setting on the Nokia 700?

Currently it vibrates, but plays no ringtonw when I get a call. This is what I want. Howver, when I get a text message it simply shows a toast noification, but no vibration or sound.I have compared every setting I could find to my previous HTC WP7 handset, which does vibrate on SMS.
I have gone in the ringtones Setting screen and turned off the ringer and turned on vibration. How do I make this work? I feel like it must be something staring me in the face that I am not seeing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading the phone to V21.0.045 I've had intermittent problems with the touch screen vibrate stopping working, which has fixed itself after a reboot. Also the unreliable slide lock problem has returned with this update. Now, as of this evening vibrate and even the small kick given when you switch on has stopped working. Not fixable by a reboot or taking the battery out.
I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue, simply worn out after 7 months or to do with V21? Can't reinstall V21, the new version of updater won't let me do it.
Does this phone have a "silent" mode? In other words, can you set it so that it doesn't ring AND DOESN'T VIBRATE? My current phone only has ring and vibrate but no silent mode.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought a Nokia 700 and for few days I'm experiencing this weird problem.Every single connection drops (3G, Wi-Fi and USB. Haven't tested NFC yet) at random times and I can't reconnect. It always says after that it can't connect and the connections are unavailable.After turning the phone off and then on again, everything is back to normal. I can normally connect to the 3G connection, Wi-Fi and USB.It's pretty annoying as I always have to restart my phone in order to connect via USB or to the Internet when it happens.Anyone else who is experiencing the same problem or has any solutions to this?

My computer can find it all other devices I've tried. The phone works fine with BT devices that were already paired but won't pair new ones. I've tried the new Headset on another phone and no problems, even my computer pairs with it so it's my N8 for sure.

I didn't find it.If I have activate the fm-transmitter in my car and nokia maps is running as well, the output of the music comes over the radio, but the output voice of nokia maps comes over the phone. If any advise comes from nokia maps, the connections interrupt via fm-transmitter completly.During the time of the nokia maps advise both, music and nokia maps, sending the sound via phone. Is there any possibility to avoid that problem?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi'm using a nokia n8 phone and i used to keep a copy of my photos and videos on my pc using nokia suite, i just clicked on the gallery sync. button and it was done.i recently bought a new memory card and i started downloading videos by the (Internet downloader) app. i have now like 7gb of videos on my memory card.the problem is that now every time i try to sync. the gallery, nokia suite makes a copy of all downloaded videos on my computer. is it possible to set nokia suite to sync. only the photos and the videos taken by the camera and ignore the downloaded videos?

I have all my contacts synced with my Google account and Windows Live account and I have all the contacts in .vcf and .csv format. How can I get them into my Nokia 808. I tried the "Import contacts" option in PC Suite but it just does not do anything. It acts as though I never asked it to import. So that isnt working. I am using the latest PC Suite which i downloaded from the Nokia website.

When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.
