Aug 23, 2011I have a Bold 9650 with OS 6 Before it even finishes with the first vibration, the phone starts ringing. I want it to vibrate 3 times and then start ringing. That way it gives me a chance to silence it or answer it before it rings, if I am in a meeting, for example. The reason I dont silence it completely while I am in meetings is because I am in and out of meetings all day and it would be impractical to be constantly changing that. Does any have any ideas how I can make the phone vibrate 3 times before it rings?

Apr 20, 2010I got a refurbished Bold 9700 today. I have it set just as I did with my old one, but it WILL NOT vibrate and ring at the same time. If I have vibrate checked to on and vibration with ringtone checked to on, it vibrates twice and then rings. If I go into custom, it still vibrates BEFORE ringing. The phone is still on AT&T's official .405 OS right now, and I'm doing the update to .593 right now. Maybe that will help? I'm not sure.

Jan 6, 2010This is driving me nuts. In setting up my profiles, it looks like there are even more options then there were on my 8320. When in 'vibrate' mode, I want my phone to vibrate ONLY, whether to notify me of a phone call, instant msg, email, sms, whatever. But, when my phone is in the holster, it will vibrate and then ping with a sound alert. I was awakened at 4am this morning because my phone was in the holster on vibrate on my dresser and an email came in.I've checked my settings a dozen times and can't figure out how to get it to NOT ping. The settings for 'play sound' are only 'in holster', 'out of holster', and 'always'. There's no 'never' option.
