I want my Z5C to vibrate on SMS only when the phone is in vibrate mode.
Currently I only seem to either have vibrate in all modes (sound/vibrate/silent) or no vibrate at all.
Is it possible without going for 3rd party sms app?
The vibration is turning on and off on my iphone, and yesterday i had a call and vibrated twice and then stopped and I hadn't even touched the phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI left my sony xperia z3 playing music while I sleep but when i woke up it showed 0% battery and it shut off. I tried charging it and it still won't turn on. I also tried charging it via usb through my pc but still nothing happens. I also tried pressing volume up key and power button while it was plugged in my pc and led turned red and now my pc can detect it but it is unrecognisable. I also tried repairing it via Sony PC Companion but I can't proceed to step 5 where you plug in your phone while holding the volume down button.

View 5 Replies View Relatedsince updating to 2.1 which actually went quite smoothly once i'd 'found' my contacts, my phone vibrates as well as makes a sound on incoming texts. The help guide (also disappeared off phone but can stll access online version) still refers to tapping settings & then tapping notifications.... well since the upgrade my settings menu has changed beyond recognition & when you tap settings there is no notifications option! The nearest is 'sound & display', in which i can change the sound used for texts alerts and also has a phone vibrate for incoming calls (which is unchecked) but nothing re vibrate for incoming texts.

This is problematic when I am far enough away from my phone that I don't hear the vibration or I'm in a loud place. I have noticed that the vibrate feature is very quiet and subtle. When I have the phone on vibrate-only, I can almost never hear and/or feel when the phone rings.
Is there any way to increase the amplitude of the feature?
Sometimes when i have my z5 locked and I receive a message my phone don't vibrate and the led light don't go on too. And when i click to unlock it vibrates like I had receive a new message but the message could be from 10 or 20 minutes ago. but this just happens sometimes I don't know why.
