Xperia Z3 :: Phone Won't Turn On / No Led / No Vibrate
Jan 26, 2015
I left my sony xperia z3 playing music while I sleep but when i woke up it showed 0% battery and it shut off. I tried charging it and it still won't turn on. I also tried charging it via usb through my pc but still nothing happens. I also tried pressing volume up key and power button while it was plugged in my pc and led turned red and now my pc can detect it but it is unrecognisable. I also tried repairing it via Sony PC Companion but I can't proceed to step 5 where you plug in your phone while holding the volume down button.
My phone is currently set to play a song for my ringtone however it also vibrates which is annoying; I can't figure out how to turn the vibrate portion of my rington off.
Probably the silliest and easiest to find but for some reason I cannot find how to put my phone to silent mode and or turn off the vibrate setting. Every notification that comes through vibrates even though I don't have the vibrate setting on.
When I enter a number in keypad to call a number the phone vibrates. I turned off Haptic feedback and Vibrate on keypress, but still it vibrates when dial a number?
My doubt is the next, I turn on the vibrate on alarms and it doesn't vibrate and if I turn off it doesn't vibrate, well, I works correctly when I turn off but when I turn on it doesn't make this correct work.
Sometimes when i have my z5 locked and I receive a message my phone don't vibrate and the led light don't go on too. And when i click to unlock it vibrates like I had receive a new message but the message could be from 10 or 20 minutes ago. but this just happens sometimes I don't know why.
My G3 is on lollipop and I recently did a factory reset. So far so good except now I can't turn off vibration with the alarm. I have vibration strength down to nothing on all notifications, but it still does it. There is no option to turn off vibration in settings for the stock app. I hate having my phone vibrate with the alarm. Or at all really.
I don't like any vibration on my phone. I don't know where to turn off the vibrate for Facebook notification, Tv controls, double tap home screen. I already turned the vibration for call feedback, keyboard and everything I can find in settings.
I know the iphone 4s can turn off the vibrate for all sounds, but is there a way to keep the vibration on for just phone calls (with the ringtone) but off for everything else?
My iphone just vibrate for a 3 minutes or so then it just turn off then. It seems cant able to turn it on, charge even itunes cant detect it. What wrong with it ?
I like to use my bberry as my alarm clock. But I don't want the phone ringing or hearing a jingle when I get a text message. Is there a way to set the phone to a "bedtime" or "in meeting" or "silent" mode for this situation? I don't see a "profiles" option in my bberry. I see how I can set the tone and volume for each item - phone, message, etc. but no overall way to just make the whole thing silent or vibrate when I don't want to be disturbed.
I seem to not be able to find a a way to turn off my vibrate when my sound is on and the reason I use the sound is so I don't have to hear my horribly loud vibrate on this phone sadly.I used the settings search and I looked at the notifications and sounds multiple times but I still can't find it.
Is there any way to turn this feature off?? This is getting very frustring to have it vibrate and it's not even discreet (it sounds like a loud buzzing noise on the other end). The person on the other line keeps asking what's that buzzing sound? This ISN'T a feature, in fact it's annoying to people I talk to on the phone and frustrating that I have to tell the other person everytime it's the phone vibrating. It does not make any difference in my life if it vibrates when I press the home, menu, return or search buttons.
I was wondering if anyone knew a way to automatically turn off vibrations/noises while speaking on the phone other than manually turning them off during a call? As you may imagine, they are quite obnoxious and sometimes transfer through the microphone.
My new Xperia Z5 is on a constant reboot loop if it's plugged in to a charger or my laptop. I've already tried everything. I've tried pushing the "off" button underneath the sim card slot (I tried both ways including the 120 second method). I've tried plugging it into my laptop to use Sony Bridge to repair. Nothing works.
How do I perform a hard reset on the phone manually? I've tried to hold the power and VOL+ and this doens't work, it just keeps reboot looping. I see a red light and sometimes a blue light in the top left corner of the phone..
This just happened out of nowhere. The phone is 2 months new and I paid top dollar for it. I'm pissed off and have no phone.
Yesterday i tried to turn on my phone and i realised it has no battery at allthen i tried to charge it but nothing happenedjust the red led light flashed 3 times but the phone doesnt charge and i cant turn it on im using the original SE charger.
I have a Z2, update it stopped working but the front camera. Following that I wanted to load the previous software, but is now worse, not light. How I can ingresarar recovery mode to reset? Not recognize or computer to phone.
We just used z3 about 1 month but my wife have problem with her phone after update to lollipop. The problem is,when she using flaslight apps in quick setting the phone auto off and can't turn om back. Before this when using kitkat version, the phone also having same problem but the phone still can turn on.
The problem is when i lock my phone i cant turn it on, when i press the power button i only see black screen but there is light in the screen and the touches are working even sound and everything and when i turn off the phone and turn it on the screen works but when i lock it and want to unlock the screen goes black .
Yesterday I updated my phone. After the update I'm not able to start up the phone again. The black start screen (black screen saying SONY Xperia) pops up for a few seconds and then the phone turns off and starts up again with the same screen. It keeps doing this over and over again.
I've tried pushing the OFF butten/+vol button, but the same things happen when I try to turn if on again.
I've tried to connect it to PC companion, but since the phone turns off and on all the time I'm not able to connect it to the PC.
I've had Xperia Z2 for almost two months now, today when I was at work I noticed that it was off, although it had more than 40% of battery still remaining. I tried turning it back on but as it didn't work I figured something was wrong with it.
I tried hard reset and it did vibrate three times, but it still wouldn't turn on. I thought something drained the battary and waited till I got home to charge it. Now that I am at home it doesn't even charge, none of the LED lights work, it won't connect to pc companion either and hard reset now does nothing (as in, it doesn't vibrate 3 times anymore).
I tried volume up/down+power button combination, hard reset, held the reset button for longer than 15 sec, I removed sd card and sim, nothing works the phone is just lifeless. I haven't dropped it or used it intensely, it never overheat or anything of that sort.
