Moto X Pure :: Volume Changes To Vibrate And Can't Turn It Back On
Sep 20, 2015My volume is on high and then all of a sudden it's set to vibrate but it won't allow me to turn it on. I have to re-start the phone.

Moto X Pure :: Earpiece Volume Too Low On Phone
Sep 17, 2015The volume on the earpiece does not go up quite enough? Maybe it's my old ears. We know the speaker is capable of it, but in a noisy environment, I find myself tapping the volume-up, even though I know I'm at the top already.

Sep 14, 2015I am noticing some crackling in my top speaker when at maximum volume. (or even a couple clicks below) It only happens when I play certain things. Audio books seem to do it the most. Turning off the "Audio effects" option in settings seems to mitigate the problem, but doesn't make it go away entirely. I also notice some distortion at full volumes...
My other issue is when i turn the device to landscape and back while playing music or youtube the sound goes out for a second each time it moves from straight to landscape. Is this normal or should I do a warranty exchange?
Moto X Pure :: 6.0 Marshmallow - Speaker Volume / Sound Fades Away
Dec 8, 2015Installed the OTA update earlier and now I have a speaker volume problem. The volume level is turned up but the sound fades away after a couple seconds. On a video if I paused it and then hit play again the volume would go back up and then fade. Navigation did this each time a direction was given. Bluetooth speaker and wired headphones did not have the problem.

Oct 16, 2015I've just got a Moto X Style and mostly love it (especially coming from my ancient Galaxy S3 which was slowwwww at opening apps)
One problem I'm having though is the seeming inability to turn on or off vibration when I get notifications. I used to use my phone in one of three ways:
1) Outdoors - Ringers/notifications on full volume, plus vibration
2) Indoors - Ringers/notifications quieter, no vibration
3) Bedtime - Ringers on but quiet, notifications silent, no vibration
I can't seem to get anything close to this. Even when I've gone into individual apps and turned off the vibration setting, it still vibrates! And this motor is almost as loud as the sounds!

Nov 6, 2015The android system (6.0) update notification came on my phone yesterday (Moto X Pure 2015). Since I couldn't connect to a WiFi where I was, I decided to switch to my cellular data. But as soon as I did that the notification disappeared. I tried finding it on my phone settings, where you go to settings-->about phone-->system updates. It says my device it upto date. How can I retrieve the notification? I was waiting for my android OS update for a month and then this happened.

Sep 29, 2015 I have one day left before I can return this phone and I just discovered that it does not even see my bit30 nes controller or my sharkk Bluetooth speaker. I have used these devices countless times on my OG X and my nexus 10 (both on 5.1.1) without issue. I have a nexus player and it sees that fine (haven't had a chance to try to connect it yet).
I did some research and all I can find to try is to put it in safe mode and try pairing. It still doesn't see either.Is there anything else I can try? If I can't get this resolved by tomorrow, I am sending it back permanently because I don't want to play risky games with the replacement they will send me.

No matter which Android device we get, as soon as it boots up we immediately jump into the hidden Developer options and speed up the animations. This will make the entire phone feel so much more responsive and snappy.
Here’s how you do it:
Jump into your Settings app
Scroll down to the bottom and select About phone
Scroll to the bottom and press Build number 7 times
Press back button and select new Developer options at the bottom of Settings
Find window animation scale, transition animation scale, animator duration scale and select .5x for each"
I have since disabled the developer's option but it still will not recognise any bt devices..

Every hour my phone will go off telling me I have a new one, but when I access my voicemail there are no messages. Nov 8, 2015When I get a new message from WhatsApp it doesn't notify on the top bar, it appears just the icon for this app. If this icon is already there, it doesn't change anything if I've received a new message, (I've to check pulling down the bar to see if I received new messages and who has sent it). My older cellphone used to show the message "Message from..." for like a few seconds, so I could see instantaneously when I'd got new messages.

Oct 9, 2015When I'm listening to music, either through Bluetooth or the phone's speakers (haven't tested this with headphones), and I get a Google Voice call through Hangouts, the music will pause while the phone rings, but a second or two after I answer the call, the music will start playing again. It's much quieter and awful quality, but still loud enough for the other person to hear and drown out their voice.
I'll answer the phone and start talking, then the music starts playing again and I have to tell that person to hold on a second while I pull the phone away from my face to pause the music. It's extremely annoying and it's never happened on any other Android device I own.

And I'm sure my battery life is suffering because every time I take it out of my front pocket, the phone is awake. In my car with the radio on, my phone has come to life several times because it believes it has heard the launch phrase, even though my phrase is pretty obscure. I know the simple solution is to turn off Moto Display/Active Voice, etc.. but I actually like the features.
